You know in all honesty I tend to take my steering setup seriously due to being able to pull my body weight up to basically sitting on the gauge cluster on the tank lol. Also with a single rotor brake setup you need to set yourself up for the bike to pull you in a certain direction!! I kind of rely on bars as my control utilizing fwd junk controls lol! Thanks for watching!!

Nice dude! Got an 02 fxstb with about 8G's in performance/engine parts and that's me doing all the work, so i'm pretty much set up for dicking around, progressive suspension in the rear, monotubes in the front, final chain drive, Elite clutch lever, vans odi grips, 9" Forbidden risers with MX Fly bars, stretched bags that I need to replace with stunt style and I need to find some fall protection, bung king whatever but as you know TC softies were never meant for stunting but I've seen them 12 O'clock'd with forward controls, still though not many aftermarket stunting options off the shelf. Mid controls are going on by spring, in fact there are a couple of vendors out there with reasonably priced set ups, well a 1,000 to 1,500 anyway, which if quality pieces and they seem they are, brembo master cylinder etc. Check out booster brad, he has a nice set up for our bike for around 1,200. Little ridiculous but to unload that weight on the lower back with the amount I ride seems like a no brainer to me. If I get them before you convert, if you haven't already I'll let you know what I think. It's nice seeing someone with the exact same bike pretty much, doing things we aren't supposed to be doing.

Right on bro!! Yea it for sure was more of an experiment bike but it’s turned out fun riding fast and loose!! I was pleasantly surprised lol! Really fun into the twisties and handles very responsively without much effort. I’ts a keeper for sure and just gonna keep it dialed for abuse.... needs a chain conversion... I already blew the belt clean off on rear lock up and ship around... as I was unloading the rear tire consign out of a whip around fuckin thing blew clean off... I was laughing my ass off cuz I’ve always swore off of belts until this bike lol!! Either way glad you enjoyed the vid and keep tearing up the streets!! I’ll get some more vids up once this weather warms up a bit lol

@@softailspeedz4314 Haha, nice dude, that's awesome. Changing the belts on these pigs is such a cunt, as I'm sure you know by now. I went with the Zipper's kit and have been real pleased. Our 02's may not be part of the Dyna craze right now but we got the highly sought after timken bottom ends and with the new softy low rider S out, people are starting to stunt those so hopefully it'll open up some new avenues for our softails. Just like you, I absolutely love my Train and just put a 21"x3.5" 60 spoke on but haven't been able to try it due to the single digits weather and snow. Your bike sounds like it's dialed in nicely, looks sharp too, handsome machine. Stay safe man, ride fast and take chances.

There aren’t many options for the 02’ softail models bro. I had fun messing with this fxst just seeing what I could get away with riding wise. In all honesty the mechanics of the bike were great and easy to work on but just an uncomfortable ride for my style. I traded it in and picked up 2020 Low Rider. If you really want mids check out Exile… it’s expensive but they may be one of the only kits.

If I’m coming around a corner that’s not too deep I have the bike leaned a little with a little bit of handlebar action. I did do this vid to show without using brakes so keep that in mind. It’s much easier if your grabbing some brake to really cock the handlebars over due to the speed being a little more controlled.

Yes handle bars straight usually the bike will kick out to the right a bit when you hit it hard and break em loose then I throw my hip to shift the weight to the left . I have never gotten the front tire off the ground while doing this not likely with forward controls and a raked out front end .
