There was never a Prelude Type R. They came in a Type S version as their top level trim. They all got versions of the H22. The Type S got the most powerful Red Top version that was shared with the CL1 Accord Euro R.

Love the StepWgn. They made full Mugen kits for them. Side skirts, front and rear lip plus the grille. Unfortunately nothing transfers to North America. Wish we would have got that van over here! CRX has the B18c vtec engine. Good find and pricy engine over here.

there honestly is alot of good stuff left on that crx front kuncukles w/brakes,cable trans-that frontend alone is worth alot because they have become so hard to find-hell I would buy the headlights for mine to have spares-the engine is a b18C or US side a GSR integra motor. That header looks like a fujitsubo
I lived in Okinawa from 1990 until 2006. I remember that piece of junk Corvette. It was at a car lot on 330 for a long time. I lived in Futenma housing, my neighbor was an Air Force guy who bought that piece of junk Corvette. It wasn't in much better shape when he owned it. They had the fan switch wired to run all the time because it would always overheat. I really miss junkyarding in Okinawa. I used to go to a lot of the motorcycle junk yards as well. Awesome video, brought back some good memories.

If you pop off the valve cover and see three lobes on both intake and exhaust, you have an excellent K20. For the K24, you do the same thing, or the head is stamped RBB.
Really is crazy over here a car like 50% of these nice car in a pick and pull would have been stripped in under 48 hrs like idk if we are juste starving for part so bad over here or pepole in okinawa are just sleeping

Just to let everybody know why a lot of these cars are in great shape and they're in the junk yard it's because when you run so many miles on an engine in Japan you have to change it out they don't like to spend the money on it so they just scrap it
Not everyone with a car is a car person. Sometimes they just want the inoperable car out of their lot and lives. Not every regular person is also willing to part it out themselves.
Not a K-Swap!! Go for the 2ZZ!! Also, that BEAMS engine wouldn’t be a bad swap on the MR-S. The Miata hardtop can be priced at $1K, if it’s in good condition. And that 2JZ engine, what a waste!!

The crx looks llike it’s got b18c4 engine judging by the inlet manifold.
More likely the B18C from a DC Si Integra which has that inlet.
