Im pretty sure most Transformers fans actually see this as the peak of the series before falling off.
I actually liked the 4th one, but _The Last Knight_ was hot garbage 😅

@@flanagamer I love AoE. Lockdown, Dinobots, Evil Frasier Crane. Just snip out that weird bit about 'age of consent' and I love the movie. I like things in TLK, particularly the historical aspect but the movie as whole doesn't really come together. I still appreciate it doing it's own thing though

Well. It seems they are not particlarly clever. This is the most intelligent Transformers movie we had so far. But this is far to be the most intelligent of all movies.
Megatron , has always been a Benchwarmer.
Before Avengers (2012). This was the biggest movie to do the whole, sky portal/alien invasion in a major city battle…and it was glorious.
What I would give to see this film in theaters and I can imagine the hype when this film first released

@@senzanome7302I remember the hype. I was there. In my early 20’s. They showed the official trailer during an awards. I think it was the Grammys. The crowd went nuts. My mom and I was watching it on tv. For weeks all the talk was about transformers. Here in Canada. They added all the old transformers cartoons ok reruns. I wanted a Shia doll. I loved him on even Steven when he was young teenage. Shia and I are the same age. The hype lasted for weeks. We were ready for Transformers 2. But that was a disappointment hahahaha

I feel as though people who genuinely hate the Transformers movies from Michael Bay are the G1 fans who grew up with the characters. Personally, I love them since they were my first introduction to the franchise.

I was excited for this reaction as I thought maybe they dropped the series since they didn't enjoy the 2nd movie much, but seeing all these disappointed comments I'll just skip it... Steph is often negative in her reactions in general anyway. With all the reactors indeed I don't get why they couldn't find people more open to this franchise...

The thing about the blood is that it’s supposed to be energon since they bleed it. Energon really is supposed to be blue but ofc Micheal changed it to red for some reason lmao

I always hate when reactors go in with preconceptions. they dont realize how much it changes how they look at the movie. whether they mean it to or not. But i will echo the other people. If the reactors dont want to watch a movie. Dont make them.

It is explained in the movie title why it cant be seen from earth, but "“the moon is tidally locked to the Earth”
I feel like these two came into this movie with negative expectations, and they just kept running with those expectations. Lots of really stupid criticism.

Honestly, one of them said “I’ve heard this movie isn’t well liked” which sounds like stupid criticism when the movie is considered the best one
I think they were drunk. There are a lot of moments where they are slurring their words, their eyes are moving slowly.
And their movements indicate intoxication, and they keep forgetting and not catching very, very important moments in the movie, and they can't stop giggling and talking and nagging. All hallmarks of a drunk woman

About the Megan Fox "replacement": She did compare Bay to Hitler, so it's not that surprising that he found another babe for this instalment.
It's a shame, but I think they made it work well with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
Honestly, for a model with little to no acting experience before this, she did a great job.

A big part of it was Steven Spielberg who produces on these movies was really offended too.

Along with Revenge of the Fallen and Age of Extintion they make the trifecta of crap. I wouldnt go to the cinema to watch this even if they payed me. "The reaction was disappointing"?? Dude, please, go watch a decent movie and dont justify this attempt of a movie. Dont blame the girls for not liking it, cause actually they're being more than nice about it, lol. They probably thought it sucked but they have to be polite about it for the channel I guess. Megan Fox called Michael Bay Hitler so yeah I didn't blame Michael Bay for doing her like that. And no disrespect On TF 3 music it's the best of the franchise. And TF 3 was originally supposed to be the final TF Movie until this movie made 1.3 billion dollars. And TF 3 is easily the best in the franchise. And the next one is extremely underrated. IMO. Optimus is the strongest Autobot and as the franchise goes on He'll be The strongest Transformer. And have y'all been paying attention Autobots have been looking Humanoid since the first one. And as the movies go on the Decepticons will look more demonic. And Optimus Prime is the main character in the next one like literally. And I'll say this if your not a TF fanatic like you didn't grow up watching these movies nor TF G1 nor TF Prime. You have to turn your brain off and watch these movies. Now if you are a TF Fanatic like me and grew up with transformers. You'll pretty much love all the movies except TF5. And nobody ever said this movie is bad and is one of the worst in the franchise idk where y'all heard that. Everyone and they're momma says this is easily the best one and it is.

@@senzanome7302So many people have this take yet fail to realize that Optimus has been alive for millions of years and most of those years was him fighting in the civil war. By time he gets to earth, there’s nothing he hasn’t already seen before and that’s why his character remaining as noble as he does is admirable. He’s lost countless friends, comrades, and even his lover but still stays wise and good. Don’t get it twisted I do like the Bayverse apart from 5 but that it’s obvious he cared very little about portraying any of the characters correctly.
@@nameless3200 I’m not exactly disagreeing but people need to understand that this is a different version of Optimus than the others, my favorite version is hands down Optimus from the Prime series. Bayverse is a bit different but we have to remember that he isn’t a 1:1 of the cartoons and such
Edit: I just remembered as well that there’s two good videos about diagnosing why and when Optimus in Bayverse became brutal and I think they did a pretty good job of covering it

The voice actor of Sentinel Prime is Leonard Nimoy, most famous for playing Spock in Star Trek. And he had voiced Galvatron in the 1986 animated Transformers movie and had been wanting to return to the franchise for a while. Luckily he was married to Michael's cousin Susan Bay!
I appreciated Sentinel saying that "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few". I feel like I have heard that somewhere before. 🤔 Maybe it was 1982? Anyway, that guy sure gets around major franchises.
Optimus use the matrix of leadership to bring sentinel back to life. The reason sentinel did not take the matrix when Optimus offer it to him was due to the fact you must be worthy to use it. So sentinel knew he would not be able to use The matrix which would have shown the Autobots sentinel was not trustworthy.
That’s how it usually works but in this universe we have no real idea since the matrix here was an activation key to an energon harvester and not a sacred collection of wisdom like in 99% of transformers media. I think it’s as simple as Sentinel didn’t need the matrix to do anything after being revived so he told Optimus to keep it.

Using a Rust cannon is illegal in Cybertron law. Accompany that with thousands of innocent humans dying, Sentinel deserved the execution.

Carly feels like she replaced Megan Fox's character because she pretty much did. The character had to get written in last second because Megan Fox was fired.
Also I think this is the best of the series. Best story, best villain, arguably best action, and felt like a good way to tie the series up.

At the end of Transformers 2, yes. They did mention that it had been quite a while since they've seen part 2, but I'm wondering if that's because they just didn't want to keep watching these.

Honestly loved the dynamics of the Transformers! I didn’t mind the human side of things and enjoyed the humans getting together when all hope seemed lost.

Same. I think the story is great, the acting is awesome, the stakes feel real, plus you get Optimus throughout the movie instead of him being absent, I dunno it just all feels great.
Optimus bled in ROTF after getting stabbed in the chest. Its just leaking energon, its been a thing and itll continue to be a thing in future movies.
I'm sure Steph is a nice person, but GODDAMN was she bored. She brought nothing to this reaction, and couldn't even be bothered to fake excitement. Say what you will about Kristen, but at least she makes things interesting and brings a fun energy with her. Steph just...did nothing. I'm sure she's paid well enough to do these reactions, because she seems like the kind of person who wouldn't bother otherwise.
But, y'know, CinePals never bother responding to comments, so they'll just have her in the rotation regardless of what we think.

I feel like you both are giving some unfair nitpicks about it. 1st. the red "blood" is more so oil and they do bleed blue energon which is known for transformers and you can see it in the films. 2nd. I think the Carly character was a little forced cause its not Megan Fox cause she and Michael Bay had beef from what she said. 3rd. Megatron listened to Carly cause she did have a point and Sentinel was taking over and Megatron wants to be the leader and Megatron is commanded by no one .4th the Music is absolutely peak! how can you say that about the music when y'all talk over it all the time? but yeah. I honestly liked Transformers 3. I also understand what Kristen was saying about not liking the blood from the vehicles. Although it's not blood not blood at all. Unfortunately she accused Michael Bay of making sexual advances towards her after that Steven Spielberg fired her from the Transformers series. Rosie Huntington Whitley became her replacement. I question Megan Fox's accusations towards Michael Bay. She accused Michael Bay on the 3rd film and gets fired. Then goes on and does both Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 and the sequel in 2016. Those movies the producer is Michael Bay to me it doesn't make any sense. Why work with someone you just accused a couple years earlier? Besides Megan Fox is super weird and not in the best way with all her sexual rituals and some are rather disgusting to say the least. They wouldn't be able to see the ship from earth. The moon is phaselocked with the Earth. We only ever see one side of the moon. The side that is always facing away is called the Darkside of the moon. Hence, the movie title.

Tansformers 3 is long and problematic, but I freaking love the final act. Part 2 is awful beyond words, but all 3 have an incredible soundtrack. Say what you will about these first 3 movies, but the music are all fantastic.

None of the Bay movie soundtracks beat the original animated film soundtrack though. As for the Bay movies I prefer the songs on the 2007 film album. I enjoyed Reanimation and Collision Course the most out of the work LP produced. But those are only my opinions.
