- Here is how to make corn pap or millet pap also known as ogi or akamu in Nigeria. This is my method for making nutritious pap to feed my 3 month old baby. #papforbabies

As a mum of 5, all my kids started eating pap and breast milk at 3 months until they grew up strong and healthy. Corn, millet or guinea corn pap gives energy and makes babies gain weight and look more beautiful.

Everyone is different and everyone reacts differently to different foods. This is what I did for all my five kids and I'm just sharing with the world. I'm not a children nutritionist, just a mother Sharing what worked for her.
Please do not give honey to your babies. That it worked for my kids doesn't mean it will work for everyone. You can use other acceptable sweeteners for your baby's food. Feel free to skip honey please everyone.

This video is me Eya showing you how I raised my 5 kids. You don't have to use my methods because your kids are different from mine please. Not all babies can stand honey. Mine did well with local Nigerian honey. My babies never took formula. I raised them with local Nigerian way with breastmilk and the pap in this video 100💯
Please don't judge me. This method might not be the best for you but it worked for me and my family. I don't think I did wrong by finding what worked for my babies and sticking to it.
Is the milk normal milk or baby milk
I don't think people are judging you it's that you are a resource for alot of mothers out there and it's important that they get the right information. Part of giving out these information also requires that you research and ensure the right message is passed along cos this is probably going to be here for future mums to watch and learn from. We should never give honey to a baby younger than 12 months because it may contain bacteria that can cause botulism in children that age.

It's too early for other foods. At 3 months, I give just this pap and breast milk. At 6 months I include other foods.

pheew! I am here at 12.44am searching out what to feed my 7 month old. My baby has refused to eat after 6months exclusive. I will try this method with soybean. I sweeten with date syrup. God help me, its exhausting to have a baby who wouldn't feed😭.

I have five. They are Al grown. That's howI raised them. I'm not a health personnel or pediatrician. Just showing what I did and being honest about how my five kids were raised. I'm not trying to mentor other mothers, just showing how my five were raised. That it worked foe me doesn't mean it'll work foe others.

Please what other food can I give to my baby apart from pap she’s 11months now
At 11 months, please feed her with other foods the family eats. She can digest them. However, avoid spicy foods and make sure solid foods given to baby are soft.

No not too young except the child has allergies. If a child isn't allergic to any of those ingredients, then not too young. Some mums start giving pap to babies at 2 months.
The honey is d only ingredients not advisable
There can be a bacteria in the honey that is dangerous for babys till the age of 1 year
@@chuchucharito5676 there is a disclaimer on the blog post advising parents not to add honey if baby is allergic to it because it can cause botulism. In this video I'm showing how I make pap for all my 5 kids and that's it. It's not compulsory for parents to use my methods. People feed their babies differently and this is me showing other mothers how I raised my own babies.
@@petrahoek2992 That's why all the ingredients are optional for anyone that wants to use my method. I did my best showing exactly how I fed my babies. The oldest is 20 now. You don't have to use all the ingredients I used. You don't even have to use my methods for your babies. Nothing wrong with posting a video of how I introduced solids to my kids. You don't have to use my methods.
3 months old baby is wey too young to take soya bean, honey, and sugar.
Not my babies dear. I raised 5 kids. Only the first wasn't fed this way. Honey can cause botulism in some babies not all. It's safe for my babies. I just felt like sharing what worked for me. My last girl is 13.

How can you give 3months baby honey
I didn't know better and all my five kids were fed with Nigerian honey sweetened pap. I'm not a pediatrician. That's what happened in my kitchen. Those kids are all adults now. This is not a recipe for you to copy. It's what happened in my kitchen posted on my channel.
Honey is not advisable for babies under 1 due to the risk of bolutism.
Babies should take breastmilk or age appropriate formula until 6 months cause their digestive system isn't mature for other foods.
Not going to the hospital isn't something to brag about, every human should go for regular checkup.

all this stop using honey for babies, I used honey for my first child when he was six months, he is 5yrs now and very strong, I discovered that the honey save me from his teething problems or fever

The best additional ingredient for babies pap is moringa leaves powder .. the quantity should be according to the age of the child , from 3 months upward

Besides, if you ask me this pap recipe right here is safer and healthier and if i may add cheaper than baby formula, God only knows what is being packaged and sold to us and baby's milk.

Everything I used here worked perfectly well for my kids. My first is 20. They grew up without issues. We only visited the hospital for immunisations by God's grace.
