- I was ASKED to Mow this Really NEGLECTED yard for a family that's father passed aways not to long ago! I went over to the house to check it out and it was pretty overgrown. THE FENCE LINE WAS SO OVERGROWN it took the majority of the day just to mow that! They were very thankful that I could help them out and I didnt even charge them for my service!

Al you always do amazing work on all of the jobs you do to help people out. I love that your kindness, caring, generous spirit shines through. You genuinely care about people & it shows with the excellent work you do.
I would like to see AP get your mower, but he would need to get a trailer to haul it on. I love to see you, AP & Kevin working together on projects, because all 3 of you love the Lord & it truly shows through everything that you do for people.
It doesn't matter what kind of mower you get, just something that will last you for a long time. What would be really sweet to see, is if you would be sponsored by at least 1 company (or more) with mowers & equipment for you to use & give your feedback on. I would definitely suggest that you do get brush blades for your new mower though. It seems like that many of the yards you mow have a lot of brush in them, along with super tall grass.
I love the positive comments you say on your videos, because they're very encouraging. Sometimes it just takes some simple, caring, thoughtful comments to give people hope knowing that things not only can, but will get better as long as they don't give up & quit.

Al, I watch all your videos, you are an inspiration to all for your kindness and giving to your community. So thankful I found your channel 2 years ago. As for the mower, I have watched you mow down bushes, trees and other plants I thought no way a mower can handle that, but that John Deere did so I think why change just stay with the Deere (my hubby has one, you would think it was his car the way he cleans it). The one you have now, please donate to your buddy AP (Clean the City) he does so much with what he has now and having that mower would enable him to do even more and make it a little easier on him physically. You both have such kind spirits and big hearts, wish we had you in North Carolina. God bless you and your family.

This is really a wonderful transformation! You made a difference of “night and day” on this property! You work on each lawn as though it’s the main one you’ve planned to do for a week! You manicure lawns as though you are ready for young children run, sit, crawl, and play all day on them! I find myself watching you as if you were one of my grandsons, so don’t work as hard during the hot weather! Also, take good care of yourself! 🎈❤️🎈

Al, if you are satisfied with the JD then that's the mower you should get. I'd love to see AP get your old JD, but he would need a trailer to tow it. I love the way you go in and do a complete job, not just the basics. Some would just cut the yard and call it a day, you take pride in whatever yard you do, which shows your character as a man. I know the family was thankful for your help, I just hope they helped pay it forward and support your nephew and his illness. Thank you for being the man you are.
I always enjoy seeing you clear a fence line, edging, trimming around trees, and raising the canopy. It's the icing on the cake of a well-mowed lawn.

It sure is hard work. Just maintaining is hard enough. He takes on very overgrown and messy yards. I am 72 and have to do all mine since my husband became disabled. Wish Al lived in our town. I would hire him in a minute. I know also, he would be fair. Love him!

Trouble with J D, is most of your replacement parts come from over seas.
We got an Ariens 4 years ago, and it ranks more reliable and more durable for the mower deck than a Deere. Made and assembled in the U.S., and the Kawasaki engines are assembled her in the states as well.
Deere has out sourced in recent years.

Either a Cub Cadet or John Deere. But I also think you should try and get a partner ship with a whatever vendor you do go with and see if you can get them to paint it purple for you as a special Cystic fibrosis Collab. As far as what to do with the old one, I think your boy clean the city might need one or should have one anyway. Keep up the great work my guy it’s inspirational on multiple levels.
Follow up to that Collabs statement, you have enough views and enough followers to quite possibly work something out so that depending on how many views you get per one day of the week when you post these to possibly get all of your stuff for free i.e. blades on, I don’t know whatever else it is that you would need in order to have to keep it running properly on a regular basis etc. etc. and maybe even some of the other tools that you may or may not need or wish that you had etc.
Case in point when I wrote the first comment there was 707 views. After I went back to write, the second comment follow up there was almost 5000 views I’d be hard-pressed to believe that you couldn’t work out some sort of deal even a discount at some level on a given basis, whenever you’re going in to get your things that you need and whatever equipment you might need as well
