Yep I've seen the cooler, the full garbage can, Rusty shed with the door open. It's positively a scream to see all of these lovely things pop up out of the lawn. I know you can only do so much and you do what you can to move things around at least into one spot. Maybe the landlord will see all of the garbage laying around the house since you cut the lawn. On the other hand what type of the landlord is he by leaving the house in this condition. Landlords should check the property every now and then and keep it clean. Things laying around in the grass will draw snakes especially in Florida. Nice work

Vacant property sat for two years before a for sale sign went up. Then some guys came and cut the grass and the trees and bushes. It really upped the whole area and I actually felt pride in my neighborhood again..

We help our elderly neighbour maintain her yard. My husband mows the lawn, trim trees and shrubs. I’m a gardener and plant & water grow flowers on her property. In winter my hubby shovels the steps on her porch and sidewalk. I love seeing her on the porch in the summer nodding off or reading surrounded by flowers. She’s thankful that we keep her property maintained and beautiful. She said she feels safe and peaceful. And my hubby and I are grateful she’s a great neighbour. If only we can look out for each other the world will be a better place.
I’m older, but I do help occasionally I gave clothes and money to a homeless person,and pressure clean my neighbours driveway, little things that can help.I think your bloods worth bottling as my mother would say.

It's typical of a landlord to not care for there property as long as they get their money they don't care. I've been in a apartment for probably 15yrs in wny, the new owner could care aless about the place as long as he gets his $$$

Someone who can just afford to sit on an empty property, or when it is rented to still not do much, or even care for its curb appeal, I wonder if they’re the type of person who really wants help. They don’t seem to mind to be an eyesore in the community.
It is amazing the difference that a bit of kindness can make, Al you are an example to us all. Thank you. I often wonder why neighbours do not help neighbours, especially when they know the struggles those neighbours have, whether they are elderly, single parents, infirm, no matter what the circumstances, just to go the extra mile while mowing or clearing the snow from your own property expand your work over to help your neighbours. There are many times I am outside struggling to weed my flowerbeds or clear snow, having a random person stop and lend me a hand (i am 70). I slipped on the driveway a couple of weeks ago, while clearing the snow. had no idea how I would get up, then I heard a young lady coming, "do you need help? Is there something I can do?" She helped me up, finished the last small bit. A small kindness goes a long way. Thank you Al, you are an inspiration on how to share the love.

I do good deeds for people daily and I'm nice to everyone I come across even if I'm just pretending because not everyone is nice to me. I literally have less than $2 to my name right now but I've already today stacked firewood for the neighbor and walked his dogs. I asked nothing in return and got nothing.
I think the landlord should have taken care of this a long time ago, so some elderly or disabled person gets yard help. Not a landlord who doesn't keep his property up.

As usual.....GREAT transformation Al. The only good for others I can do these days (being older & disabled) is when I cook.....soup or whatever.....I deliver some to my two neighbors ..... also older ladies & my fellow apt dwellers. That's why I enjoy watching your videos so much. I do have to also say that while I have seen many fences trimmed with a weed wacker..... I've never seen the actual fence whacked LOL ..... very effective! God bless you.

I've noticed the coolers too and I've also noticed there's usually an old shed and the door is always open.

As usual.....GREAT transformation Al. The only good for others I can do these days (being older & disabled) is when I cook.....soup or whatever.....I deliver some to my two neighbors ..... also older ladies & my fellow apt dwellers. That's why I enjoy watching your videos so much.
I do have to also say that while I have seen many fences trimmed with a weed wacker..... I've never seen the actual fence whacked LOL ..... very effective! God bless you.
