So if anyone wants to decrease the deadline in any game I’ll tell you the steps.
Step 1: Press Hoke button for 3 seconds
Then it will be switched from X-Input to D-Input.
Step 2: Press the Share+Option buttons for three seconds until the light changes, then press the left D-Pad button.
To assign the Accelerator and Brake pedals to Y-Axis.
And now enjoy the game with absolutely no dead zone on the wheel.

What do you mean with left d-pad button? Sorry but I don’t understand specific english

TL;DR - Games with Inbuilt Wheel support are fully compatible with this wheel... The rest incompatible games are playable and need to be configured and mapped. But your wheel becomes a controller joystick. This causes the deadzone issue. Overall a great wheel for a decent price. You even get an auto gearbox at this price range and paddle shifters!
Yep! Suprisingly though, I tried out Dirt Rally 2 and setting the deadzone to 0 even when recognized as a controller it seemed to have no deadzone. So that game works great as well.
I guess ACC, AMS, RR, DR2 etc ?
EDIT: So far Project Cars, F1 games, and Forza Horizon 4 have a little dead zone. Assetto Corsa is the only game at the moment which I have tested that doesn't have deadzone. If you're not too picky about the small deadzone or just want to play assetto, then this wheel is 100% worth it. Also I returned and re-ordered the wheel just to test if it was only my specific wheel that wouldn't save the programs after power off. Sadly you will have to remap the keys everytime you unplug the wheel's usb from your PC. Not sure how it is for PS4/XBOX. UPDATE: Dirt Rally 2.0 WORKS! You can reduce the dead zone in this game to 0 and it actually does something!
Try putting it in D-input mode...that would fix deadzone issues....

Heya, nice vid, I was looking for someone who tried these games with this wheel and so far your the only person whose done it! Btw I wanted to ask if you have any idea if this thing is compatible with a ps5.
I use a wired headset and i connect to my controller but everytime i connect my controller to the steering wheel i cant hear anything on my headset

As you said, only Assetto Corsa detects it as a wheel, rest of the cases it works like a gamepad.

Converting to D pad i somehow managed the brake pedal to not go from 0-100 but infact it now shows up on the -y axis(the wheel axis) on a controller tester website but the issue with accelerator is still same, acts like a button.

If you are using xinput, then try changing the deadzone of the controller as xinput is the same as an xbox controller. I think that should work.
I tried changing the deadzone but in F1 it is already set to 0. I believe the deadzone dissapears in d-input mode but then you wont get full pedal functionality. Also does your programs save after shutting the wheel off
@@bonz5520 Oh yeah, I've heard about d input as well, I currently do not own the wheel but I am looking forward to get it as I have assetto corsa on my pc. As for the xinput, have you tried changing the deadzone to a minimum value other than 0? Also, sorry, I've got no idea on the save state.
@@sadisticsmile9069 yeah 0 is the lowest it’ll go. If you plan on playing assetto corsa, the wheel works great. Any other games that recognise this as a wheel will probably work well too.
@@bonz5520 That's good news. What I intended to say was try setting the deadzone to 1 or anything above 0, maybe it resets the steering deadzone?
@@sadisticsmile9069 Just tested that and no it doesn't work. Sadly if the game only recognizes as a xbox controller you'll have to live with the deadzone.

Does this steering wheel work on repack/cracked games in PC or is it compatible only with original games?
It will work with cracked games as well.

got this wheel a week ago, even i am facing the settings not saving issue. Also project cars 2 do recognize it as gamepad controller, but after tweaking it did recognized it as a wheel and the next day back to gamepad, and now i cant switch it back. Plus in project cars 2 my steering would calibrate but wont turn in game when recognized as gamepad
Yeah for me it recognized it both as a wheel and controller but as a controller my pedals were not registering. Assetto Corsa is the only game that has worked well with this wheel so far. But I still have a lot of sim games to test like iRacing, rFactor and Automobilista.

Finally got it to work,
You have to change the input method by pressing the home button for 3 seconds, the light will turn off and on, it will change to D input method, then reprogramm the pedals by holding share and programme buttons for 3 seconds and press d-pad left,
Now it will work fine in project cars 2
How bad is the deadzone for F1 20, does is make the game unplayable ?
How did you enable vibration feedback?
works only when it's set as controller
@@bonz5520 I'm playing Forza on Xbox one, and the vibration seems to work, but it's too week. My controller which is connected to the wheel vibrates fine. Is there any vibration level adjustment for the the wheel?

Guys finally got it to work,
First select the input method by pressing home button for 3 seconds, it will change to D input method, then re programme the pedals, by pressing and holding the share and options button for 3 seconds till the light turns green and press D pad left button,

Yeah I actually upgraded to a g29. It was my first wheel then, and the video is still helping people with the button mapping etc.

Did not see any warranty information in the box. As far as I know, I ordered from Amazon and they have a 7 day replacement period.
