Actually, even my +45 y/o dad would use this. He should've said it's good for amateur sim-racing.
@@pardolagames8994 No, this is not a good streering wheel. I don't really care if it's cheap or not, it's junk. The spring centring mechanism and 180 degrees + atrocious pedals make it a terrible choice basically for any kind of game. Someone just needs to say what it actually is. It's much more enjoyable and easier to play with a standart PS4/Xbox One controller. Why waste your money on something this bad when you can buy a decent controller?
@@VGHOST008 I already played in worse things, and I can't believe it is better playing on a controller.

In past times the answer was the Logitech DFGT, the best entry level wheel
Momo racing is fine for begginer
Got one for 40$ cant complain for the price
I think DFGT is still best entry level steering wheel 😉
For me, DFGT is best because it has 900 turn degrees, force feedback and it costs even less than this wheel I think

To me, this type of wheel is perfect for Initial D and Wangan Midnight arcade version games as it actually simulates the feel of playing those game at the arcade.
This was my very first wheel! It is not a great device, but I was nevertheless able to squeeze hundreds of hours of fun out of it before I moved up to a G29. People are often quick to laugh at and insult this wheel, but with a little bit of work on the settings you can definitely still have some fun on it. It now belongs to my 3-year-old daughter, and as far as she is concerned it's the greatest steering wheel ever made!
Cheap wheels + pro tweaks, from callibration in windows, adding 20% deadzone, can make any user pro.
@@FriendlyPCGamers I just wanna know how much delay does it have in game?
@@FriendlyPCGamershow do you do these tweaks?
I have this wheel, perhaps I can share a few things about it and a few Pros and Cons.
Pros:
- cheap
- wheel feels nice, ergonomic and grips well
- the vibration feels alright, gives enough information to the user
- pedals are responsive, no input lag from my end
- the buttons are easy to grab on, you don't need a long thumb to access them
Cons:
- 180° of rotation (as I said it doesn't bother me)
- pedals are made of plastic so it gets squeaky after a while
- sequential gear stick feels low quality
- only two pedals, and they're both binded to the same axis, thus when you brake, it will cancel out the throttle, and vice versa (I have a solution for it)
So what is the solution? Use the wheel on X-input mode (which is set by default) and just use the wheel as an Xbox controller. Another problem is that the wheel itself is set on medium sensitivity by default, so your car in-game would reach full lock before your physical wheel does. So to set it to low sensitivity just hold Share and Home for 3 seconds until a green light shows up, press Share and you'll see the green light blink, press Share until the light is blinking at it's slowest rate, after that press Dpad Up, the sensitivity should be set to low.
Equipment doesn't matter if you have sufficient skill, Jimmy Broadbent proved that when he tested out the Sierra TRacer (which by now has increased in value, thanks Jimmer.)
Bro i have a question
Why when i play i can't control the car
Are all the wheels are hard to get to use it or because it's 180 degree

@@ryuzaki7.62 It's an okay wheel, but the price is definetly too high. I had the Speedlink Drift OZ, which is basically the same wheel but in silver/orange/black colours for 50€. It held up 2 years before i upgraded it and it would still run.
Well considering old wheels like driving force gt are less expensive and better, I don't think so
I played ets2 with a similar steering wheel on my channel, I recommend you to take a look. ua-cam.com/video/86x045__vyQ/v-deo.html
Wow! switching to voiced narration is a great idea. Your english is really good and videos are far easer to watch than read ;)
Also there is another wheel from PXN, called V900. It has 270° to 900° degrees of rotation, and the degree of rotation can be switched with a physical button. Otherwise, the pedals are same with the V3II. It retails for about >100€ here in Indonesia.
Edit: now, there is another steering wheel from PXN, called V9. The wheels are basically the same as the previous, but the big differences is, the pedals now have clutch, and you got an h-shifter with the packet. It's essentially an upgraded version of V900
Udh pake bro pxn v900?
PXN is quite popular for people who just want a racing wheel for cheap in Indonesia since it's really hard to find even secondhand DFGT nowadays.
Not sure if you will review more of these but my suggestion would be to try PXN V900 as it's one of their product which features both 150 degree and 900 degree rotation (it has a switch to enable 900 rotation lock). Though I can just say it's most likely the same since it's marketed to only have vibration as an ffb replacement and bungee cord for self centering.
As a Filipino who also cant find any high quality racing wheels, I agree but holy cow I cant find a decent one online without being a PXN product but yes, I do think the PXN V90 is good enough, but be ready to be jealous if you are gonna be watching reviews.

Oh my, this wheel reminds me of a set I had 19 years ago. Features are very similar.
I had one around that time too, used to hook it up to my PS1 and play CMR 2.0 with it. I could swear pressing the gas pedal fully and holding the X button could make the car accelerate twice as fast
lmao the pedals are the same as my saitek farming simulator wheel
edit : the wheel's screw is the same too and it has the same spring return system and it doesn't have force feedback too...it's just a farming simulator wheel but less good
I love the voice over videos. I find your voice to be very soothing, heavily underrated sim-racing outlet!
0:22 Gran Turismo PSP Dealer Song! , well the song give me a memories :)
i'm brazilian and can confirm the ultra high prices of everything here, for example: a G29 (no shifter) would be about 300-400$; while in brazil, you can expect it to be upwards of R$2400
it's about the same tbh then.
2400 brl = 457 USD (there are also import fees, so not all if those "57usd" are taxes)
Also in the US products are priced without the tax included so u can add 5 to 18% to the price depending on where in the us u buying it from.
I used to have a wheel like this one and it had pretty much all pros and cons of the one you bought, but in countries like mine, steering wheels like this one are stupidly expensive and mid range wheels cost about as much as top range ones cost in the USA for example so in many cases in my country it's this or nothing.
that's sad
Well, you can buy a ThrustMaster T150 pro for 100$ in second hand and you'll get really good sensation. For the price, there's a really good force feedback
Hey Viper i´m from Brazil , and the prices like you mentioned it´s insane . I hope to get out of this country as soon as possible !!
Would have been cool to see some lap time comparisons between that wheel and others.
Look on the bright side: WRC 9’s wheel rotation will make sense now!
Honestly I live in a Latin American country
(everything is more expensive) and I do not want to buy a very expensive one, because I am not looking for a simulator or realistic experience, but i want to have fun. So I think it is a good purchase if you are looking for fun and not realism.
was looking at reviews for this wheel did expect that nostalgic blast of an intro love itt
When I read "THANKS YOU"
I lost it ...
LOL.
Chinglish is always the best!
Too late I already bought another cheap starter wheel a few weeks ago but it only has 180 degree lock to lock (more like 130 because the no game I’ve played has been able to detect the full 180, the inputs stop pretty early and turning any further after that makes no difference)
*(Edit)* I’ve just found out that the reason games weren’t detecting the full 180 degree lock-to-lock range was because I had the wheel sensitivity programmed to “High”, which lowers the wheel range to aid in achieving a higher sensitivity. I’ve just lowered it to the “Low” sensitivity setting and now the full 180 degrees can be detected.
I bought a keyboard for $3 yesterday
*starts off with Brazil taxation
porra, ta real mesmo
I know the pain, I have a 180° rotation wheel that also only has vibration but in my case it doesn't work how it's supposed because when I turn it on it just vibrates non stop, which is pretty annoying, hopefully one day I get something better
that oldschool vibe in your intros are so dope
Even in Canada it can be quite expensive to get a decent wheel. Luckily i got a great deal from a friend on a used Ps4 T150 and it has worked well for me.
Games like project cars 3 you will never need a wheel
0:35 thats facts. Here in Brazil its really hard to afford any steering whell...
and pretty much anything is hard to afford in this moment
This channel is sooo underated its scary
I had one of these as a kid, and did the same thing with attaching it to a surface to increase the angle. It made for a lot of fun on gran turismo back in the day.
However, that doesn't translate to today. Games back then were tailored for the player using a controller...so a shitty wheel was just like another controller, but before dualshock was a thing, the steering wheel gave you a modulatable axis to turn the wheel and pedals to modulate the throttle and brake. So the shitty wheel was a big upgrade.
Now, games are made for people who want to see and feel the most raw and real racing experience video games can provide, and to control such a complex device with just a controller is insufficient. If you don't have any force feedback, your wheel is just...not an upgrade over a simple Xbox One controller, due to the haptic feedback in the triggers letting you know when you lock up your brakes or spin your wheels on heavy acceleration.
Thank you very much ! Thanks to your video, I just saved quite a lot of money. I was thinking about steering wheel to PC at a similar price. Thanks so much VIPER!
Always appreciate your Pro and Contra on everything, Mr.Viper. I am considering to buy an affordable steering wheel next month to play Project CARS, WRC, and Dirt Rally.
"Muito obrigado pela revisão!" Thank you a lot for this review! - From Brasil
I bought a microsoft sidewinder with 20€, it's 21 years old like me but works really good 😁 the forcefeedback is still good
I used to use one of reskins of this wheel. Got funny but REALLY infuriating issue, slight turn to the left would register as full rotation to the left. Can't count how many I rolled my truck in ETS2. Now I'm using red Logi Wingman, best wheel I've ever used.
RWO HORI is the same category but turn 270 degree. good for casual game too
I use Microsoft Sidewinder FF which I bought for 11 euro and it is great for beginners, now I plan to upgrade to a Logitech Driving Force GT which will cost about 70 euro.
here in turkey there is a company called snopy and they made tons of different wheel models, cheaper than pxn and everybody uses them lol
try the PXN 900! its close to this but with 900 Degree rotation!
They have joysticks for flight simulation, like PXN 2113 pro which I used, rest assured after a year it just died

thank u viper in turkey taxs are making price 1.5-2 bigger so its perfect to me and for my ps3
In Russia we have same wheel but from company named "Oklick" only for 35$ if changing Rubles to Dollars
There's another steering wheel that is made by the same company, it's called PXN V900 and it is quite a lot better by this one by margin, at around the same price. For starters, it supports 900 degrees steering so by that you can already get more precision compared to this one.
I got G29 for 240€, not bad in portugal. The T300RS was 350€ to 400€ so i think G29 was worth it more.
Imo not worth it, stick to controller or add 60$ and go for t150 if you want new, best option would be to get used logitech dfgt/g27/g29
This looks like an upgraded version of old Saitek R220. Some parts are basically identical, like the wheelbase and the clamp. The buttons on the rim are also identically positioned. This one has much more buttons overall though.
Interestingly enough, Saitek also had R440 in its offer (my first wheel) which did have force feedback. This company doesn't seem to offer any wheel with FFB, but you can get a used R440 for dirt cheap. Unfortunately the drivers are buggy and don't work in 64-bit mode, allowing the wheel only to be used with 32-bit games or with 32-bit mode enabled (in Assetto Corsa or ETS2).
I have almost the same wheel from Defender. Same everything except the wheel and buttons on the wheel. By only Wheel i mean the base of that wheel is the same is mine.
I’m using exactly he same thing for 4month now.
Driving my favourite stock rx7 spirit R in Assetto Corsa, and with some practice and tweaking, i’m only 20secs off from WC time, and i can still improve more.
Btw, i’m not sure if he realize there’s a vibration function that u can set to let u feel the tyres and slides, but afcourse, no ffb.
There are also 3 rotation option.
1. 180’
2. 140’
3. 100’
Just like Fujiwara Takumi says after driving the 85, you just have to drive how the car wants to be driven, in this case, it’s the wheel.
This wheel is crap in AC it doesn't even register as a wheel it registers as a controller. Pointless!

Glad you liked it! :D
I had a wheel with such specs once upon a time. Was way worse than a controller for arcade games. I wouldn't pay even 50 euros for this. Try to look for a used FFB wheel if you're playing Sim on a budget. For arcade stick with the controller.
I bought a logitech g25 for 105 euros with 1 year warranty before Covid, it was a good deal
The thrustmaster Ferrari gt experience is 60 euros tho, And its also 180° and yeah. The Ferrari GT Experience also has force Feedback, needs its drivers tho, get it from the thrustmaster Website the driver.
i'm from Brazil and things are complicated, i wanted to buy a logitech which is less expensive here than thrustmaster but even so it is an absurd price. I have "js090" from the warrior which is of the style and price of the one you showed and has almost the same characteristics, the only difference is that it has 270 degrees of rotation and a potentiometer that adjusts the sensitivity of the rotation.
No it does not have fire decals but it has 3 pedals and only coated $50
Maybe a Thrustmaster T150 / TMX is a better choice to start in simracing because the overall quality is better, for just ~150€. BUT don't forget to buy a wheel stand (100€ min) if you don't have a desk adapted to a seat to drive with confort
ferrari thrustmaster steering wheels normaly cost 50-60eur and they feel like an 100+eur steering wheel sometime
