Hey guys! Thanks for watching! What did you think of this episode? If you enjoyed it, I'd love if you share it with a friend :) Also, I post stories pretty much every day on Instagram, so if you want to stay up to date with my travels, you can follow me @steveyalo or just click this link: instagram.com/steveyalo/
Steve Yalo thank you for coming and exploring our country , there are a bunch of more places you should visit in myanmar which is include my home town . It is only 3 hours drive from Yangon and half way to mandalay . It fun place to go around , mountain climbing etc . Hope u guys come and visit next time . We myanmar people are always happy and welcome you guys 😁
Watched the whole series in one go. Proud Yagonite here, born & raised in Myanmar for nearly 30 years - yet you guys REALLY captured the real beauty of it! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
great job on this steve, i've watched the budgeteers other series and you did a great job with this. definitely up to the standard set by paddy et al. one thing is you don't really need to include comments like "goldie takes it in the butt." that isn't really funny. i'm not offended by it, it just isn't funny overall excellent work, particularly on the intro! the drone work is a great addition. can't even have too many drone shots
Thanks for the feedback, Daniel! Appreciate the compliments. But just so you know, as I stated in the video - I was told she likes it in the rear... but as it turns out, the rumors were false. We found out the hard way.
The guy 6:17 was saying there will be a spilt road ahead and I think he's worry that you guys could be going different road as him and he didn't want to drop you guys off in the middle. This is probably one of the greatest Myanmar travel vlog yet. You guys were entertaining and respectful. Can't wait for more vlogs. Next time if you guys will ever come back to Myanmar, you should go check out Mergui Archipelago.
Ooohh!! That makes a lot of sense looking at his hand gestures. Thanks for the translation and thanks so much for the compliment. If we go back, which I think I will since I really enjoyed it there, I'll definitely take your recommendation. Thanks!
Thank you for the upload. I think part 3 is my favorite one so far. was fortunate enough to spend a month in myanmar last year and the whole series has been giving me flashbacks.
This video is such an eye opener. i wanted to go to Burma (Myanmar) mainly because her close ties with India in the past , but always felt that if it's safe or not ,mainly with all the negative news you get to hear but u guys being westerner's are able to enjoy so much i surely will like to try myself . I will like to enter from the India side into the country , then go south. thanks for sharing this lovely video .oh! forgot to mention, the drone shots are epic.
aw this is amazing, it’s so funny how the guys like speaking in burmese but you have no idea what he’s saying sjjsjs, he said “oh if you just go straight and at the crossroad you’ll be in Mandalay”
All around great editing and also a great example of how you can use lots of good drone footage without ending up with one of those "visual drone porn" travel videos where it's all about fly over here, zoom in over there but without any action, heart and soul. You got the perfect balance of entertainment, practical info and visual stimulation! Can't wait for the next episode.
Thanks!! Yea, I've seen way too many videos where the drone is the majority of the footage and I can't stand that haha just using it to establish location is pretty much all it's necessary for. Anything more than that just feels a bit excessive. Really appreciate the positive feedback. Same time and place next week for the final episode ;)
The best travel blog I have see so far, really enjoy it and want to watch more. Bagan definitely my favourite place so far, I have been to Burma 🇲🇲 for three times. Love it 😊
haha god Bagan is such an amazing place. Where I drove an e-bike for the first time, crashed it 3 days later and then refused to get back on and made a burmese man come and drive it back for me. The most diva thing I have ever ever done in 8 years of travel. To be fair he did own the bike and did nearly crash it again on the way back into town. It was a piece of crap. I spent 4 days getting completely and utterly lost in Bagan with people I met there and it was so incredible. I was told a lot of the buildings were locked not only because of the earthquake but also because there is a 'key person' for each temple and generally one family will have control of one temple, so if you find the right person, you can go up even if it is kind of dangerous.
Thanks Will! You should try and get out there. It's an incredible country and I predict that since more and more people are learning about how incredible it is, thr tourism industry will saturate it immensely within the next 10 years. The borders have only been open to Western tourists for about 6 or 7 years now, so it still has a unique "untouched" feel compared to some other countries in SE Asia.
Amazing job! It's rare that I want to visit a place I have never been or thought of traveling to before because I am inspired by a travel vlog. Happy to add Myanmar to my list of places to go. I love it that all the visitors interviewed were most impressed by the people and how caring they are to strangers. That was definitely evident in the many who stopped on the side of the road to offer a ride. Love your channel and your positive attitude. Keep up the good work.
Thanks so much Deb! It's amazing to hear that my video makes you want to visit Myanmar. It is definitely such a unique conutry and I will be back for sure.
Thanks Ernesto! Yea, the people really do make the experience way better. Such kind-hearted people. We didn't even plan on all those people giving those answers, just genuine reactions after asking people what was their favorite thing about Myanmar.
ႊံႊ့ႊThanks for your great video and I love the way you travel . I'm Myanmar and I've been Bagan, however, I didn't have a chance to take electric bike and go around as much as you go. It' s really amazing and I wanna go there again like you guys did. Sipaw is the place I've never been. And I can't wait to see it.
Great work guys! Steve, your edit is very good. A good mix of you guys doing your thing + narration + drone shots + music. The narrative flows pretty well and kept me wanting to watch more. By the way all those pagodas in Bagan are incredible and the view on the train ride in the next episode at 20:43 looks ridiculous. -David @The World n Us
Thanks David! Yea, the pagodas in bagan are incredible! And the train ride in the next episode is so cool. We pass over the highest bridge in Myanmar and when it was completed, it was actually the largest railway trestle in the world!
Thanks!! haha yea it's either a hit or a miss trying to find someone to speak English, but we definitely had some fun with it ;) Hope you enjoy ep 4 next week!
I came over from Paddy's channel and I'm travelling to Southeast Asia later this year and wasn't entirely convinced on including Myanmar is my plans until I watched your guys videos and now I'm all in on the idea 😀👍🏼

Guys that was great! I live in Yangon and been here over three years. Been following the series and makes me wanna get out of the city and try some new stuff again. By the way, the guy in the white car said “Mandalay is straight but I’ll be turning another way” 😅
Love you guys!!! Preparing my second big trip to Southeast Asia!!! Thanks for make me laugh...I travel alone, but with you two guys, to infinity and beyond hahahaha

What a coincidence! I know that guy "Lin", the car owner. His full name is Lin Aung Kyaw!
Watched the whole series in one go. Proud Yagonite here, born & raised in Myanmar for nearly 30 years - yet you guys REALLY captured the real beauty of it! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
P.S: The guy and his mum with the nice car were going to Nay Pyi Taw which is about 2 hours away from Mandalay :D Should've taken that AC-ed seats.

I agree with you on how great Steve's work is. But disagree on the humor part - It's funny.

hahaha sounds like a typical Bagan experience!
Another awesome edition...bravo. I want to go to Myanmar now! Drone footage perfection.
