To help restore, rehabilitate and get him thinking straight. His long soliloquy is hard to bear again, but it is important to treat people like humans and not like animals that need to be thrown in a cage & fed. There is a spark of th divine in all of us. Everyone has this spark of God. Allowing him to talk is in an effort to bring him back in touch with that childhood spark that everyone has.

While in Nevada....working in laundry for a casino...he befriended a co worker who lived in apartment with his mother. They allowed him to stay for 3 days....he started stealing from them and were battered when they confronted and asked him to leave. He then befriended the girl who spoke at his sentencing. She allowed him to live with her....He became controlling of her private life....she told him that he has no say in her life......he started to steal from her......she asked him to move out ....he battered her. Even the worst citizens are entitled to due process and victims are entitled to seek justice from their perpetrators.
