The traditional Tabouleh is made with a smaller amount of grains, meaning that there is way less quinoa (or bulgur) compared to the parsley and veggies ratio. I always made my tabouleh with a lot of couscous before (basically was a couscous salad more than a tabouleh) until I met my husband, who is Lebanese, and he told me the truth about Tabouleh. It's basically a parsley and vegetable salad with a little crunch from the grains, but the star of the show is definitely the parsley (and the curly kind)!
these boxes are ADORABLE!!! Even though Im working from home, I still like making boxes for myself just because I get busy throughout the day so its nice to have a full meal laid out in different sections!!

I really enjoyed this video and am very inspired. I looked on the website, and could not find the Bento box that was round that you used on your last recipe. Would you send the link please? The one that’s on the website looks different.
I love the crispy tofu recipe, it’s my go to. I’ll cut out planks and bread the tofu with nooch- so easy. Once I used fish sauce instead of soy and made a bahn mi with it. Can’t recommend enough.

I got a monbento original the last time you worked with them and I do love it! However, for some reason it's been hard to open the containers once you seal them. And yes I've tried many times and read the instructions but maybe I just don't know the trick to opening it easily??
I saw the vent on the lid. Maybe if you open it, it will break the vacuum seal?

I made a music video about veganism on my channel
as much as I want to support monbento, i find it super strange and colonialist that it’s 2 white people profiting off of japanese culture... they’re obviously trying to market it as cute and japanese inspired with the name, japanese cherry blossoms, etc. they should have just stuck to making it a lunchbox without ripping off of japanese culture :/ doesn’t sit right with me.
Wow it is? I mean, I can tell they're not Japanese bento as they're MASSIVE compared to mine 😅 but yeah it does seem a bit off. I really hope they employ Japanese staff at least!
The lunch box looks nice, but I am afraid they are made of plastic, which is not good for health nor for the environment.
