I was a Christian for almost 30 years and I asked a lot of questions and didn't get very many satisfactory answers. I just started the video because I just got off work but when I the basis of Judaism is one creator. I was told it's a mystery you just have to have faith and if you didn't fall in line you will reminded of burning in hell fire eternally if you didn't believe. I don't even have the excuse that the rabbi mentioned about being taught from a young age that Jesus was God because I was not taught that. I'm just glad to be out of idolatry and I think this Rabbi for teaching me so much. Bless you Rabbi singer

Hard core Christians scholars will fight on despite overwhelming evidence. Rank and file Christians will hopefully listen and become Ben Noah. Keep on teaching us please. I was in Christianity for almost 30 years. But I wasn't indoctrinated as a child. I think sometimes it's the fear of hell. Sometimes it's not being able to admit that your parents and your grandparents and your neighbors and your pastor etc .. and everyone you looked up to at best gave you false information and they are ALL wrong. At worst they actually lied to you. I think sometimes it's people can't think for themselves and they believe what they're told. I attended Independent fundamental Baptist Churches so maybe it was just that type of church but a lot of it I think is pride. The times I either proved a man in the church or a preacher wrong or made him concede a point with me after showing him fact's you can tell they were so embarrassed and so angry. I think a lot of people won't admit their political candidate lied to them as well because of pride. I'm not talking about any particular political candidate so please don't think I'm trying to make this political I'm just saying in general. I have seen people stick by someone they supported locally in politics even when it was proven this politician lied and cheated. But their own pride kept them from admitting they were scammed. It is a shameful thing to admit you've had the wool pulled over your eyes over something so important for so long.

Wonderful topic. I was born and raised in a Catholic environment and became an Evangelical Christian in my later years, Whenever I asked the elders questions about the trinity the answer was always the same alibi. They told me it was a mystery and that if the trinity can be explained in human terms that God wouldn't be God at all. Moreover, as Christians we were always threatened with burning in eternal damnation if we doubted the teachings of Christian doctrine. Many thanks for the numerous eye opening videos. Blessings to you and yours.

      @Howdoyoupurr 4 місяці тому

I’m genuinely surprised that said the trinity can’t be explain in human terms.
Now I copied this to you that I wrote out a while ago.
Let’s do simple. God loves us so much that he sent his son to die for us so we will be saved. The Old Testament says he will save us from our sins and New Testament tells us how god did it. God entered Mary’s womb creating a being that was fully human and fully god. Sent to earth to suffer and die then rose from feath on the command of god the father and came back from the dead. Having defeated the death that Adam and Eve gained within their flesh and passed to all of their children. Defeating the wages of sin so we no longer have to pay the price of our own sins. So even tho we are guilty we get to be freed of our debt Jesus paid and then came back to life since he had never sinned and now sits on the right hand of the father.
Then just as a baby lamb that has lost its mother and another baby lamb that died whos mother still lives. If the baby lamb goes before the mother sheep who’s child has died will be instantly rejected because can smell and see that this is not my child. And the child would parish and die. The shephard cuts the fleece off of the dead baby lamb and puts it on the lamb that still lives and ties it to them. So what way when the shephard brings that child to the mother. It will smell its own child and let it feed returning life to it. And that way by the time the baby lamb grows big enough that the fleece falls off. By this time the mother will have smelled the baby lamb long enough that it will recognize that child as it’s own forever. As is the practice of the Jews with sheep in that situation. This is a direct command in the bible and a requirement for us to enter. We must believe Jesus was god came to earth died and rose from the dead and must be baptised by dunking a person completely under water so that we they experience death with Jesus so what he did is transfered to your soul. If a person does not do this. They do not truely picture Jesus Christ living within them and when they do a Christian is baptised by water. By eatting bread and wine representing his blood and his body. We are baptised by blood and of flesh and because Jesus lives within us we are baptised by fire because. We share Jesus’s experience of paying for our sins in hell and are forgiven for our sins having repented of them, and the Holy Spirit enters into us and acts as a guide to understand the bible, helps us resist the temptation to sin by giving us a new nature and of course there is the first being who is without form because he existed before creation.
There it is father son and Holy Ghost. It’s not hard.
Genuinely curious which church you were going to. I wonder if it was a mega church in the states. They teach prosperity gospel which is basically you can just continue what you were doing. Choosing to continue live in sin and somehow you got gods approval because you read the bible, and give us your money because it’s gods will. If was one of those not really surprised if someone there couldn’t explain the trinity if was the case. They not even reading and attempting to follow gods word and have reading it be a central part of ones own life.
Big big difference between those that choose to follow god and obey him then someone who once read a book but didn’t accept it as the absolute truth that it is.
Also what tavia said is not correct. It’s if you believe that he died to pay for your sins by dying and raising from the dead. And we are saved by one thing alone faith by grace in Jesus Christ that he fully paid for your sins and everyone else’s by dying on the cross. that’s literally it,
Many teach we are saved by works and earn our way into heaven.
      Sorry that’s not bible.

I can confirm that many Christians became Christians, and remain Christians primarily because of a fear of hell. My own wife admitted this to me a year or two ago. When I left Christianity (for atheism) a decade or more ago, for quite a while I had a nagging concern about hell. There is no way that one can come to such a realization by “lack of forethought.” Careful analysis (or received wisdom) are the only ways to arrive at it. It’s not, IMO, an attempt to stifle free thought, but to inspire and support it, like everything else R’ Singer presents. If anything, you are accusing others of what you are attempting to do.

We know Solomon was called "God" in Psalms 45 and The virgins were commanded to "worship him".
In Hebrews chapter 1 Jesus was introduced as a god on God's right hand just like Solomon or Moses & we're encouraged to homage Jesus to Glory of God the Father.
Below Moses is made a God
      Exodus 7:1.
Then Adonai said to Moses see I make you "a God" and Aaron shall be your prophet.
      Proverbs 30:4
What is God's name, AND what is the name of the Son?
2John 1:3 Grace and mercy be to you from from God the Father, and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the father,
      in love and truth.

As a former Paulinist, I can say that the Rabbi is correct. The majority of Paulinists are conditioned to believe in the Trinity and if you don't accept it, you are in danger of hellfire. Both love and fear are highly motivational in keeping one faithful to a belief system.
Here is an interesting phenomenon though, the bulk of Paulinist Christians and Pharisaic Jews do not realize that Jesus and the 12 Apostles were/are Nazarene Jews who promoted Jewish Monotheism.
In the Clementine Literature, the Monotheist Nazarene Apostle Peter, in his debates versus the Gnostic Simon Magus about God (characteristics, etc), defends Monotheism (as knowing no other way but the Jewish understanding of God). Simon Magus argues gnostically that there is more than one God (the High Good God and the Demiurge).
Simon Magus' argument is the genesis of Paulinist Trinitarianism. It's almost as if Paul (mirrored in Simon Magus) and Peter were debating the subject.
Paul and his intellectual descendents developed Trinitarianism not from Judaism, but from Christian Gnosticism.

I was a Christian for almost 30 years. You can't reason a person out of Christianity if they have been indoctrinated. It doesn't work. The person has to be seeking something higher. The person has to be searching in my opinion. And even if they are searching a lot of times that fear of hell and that fear of being ostracized by your entire family and your friends snaps then back to idolatry.

@@susanlett9632 I agree 100% with each of your sentences, except for me, I was a little bit slower, it was 40 years plus as a faithful Lutheran before I left...lol.
In all of the years I've been on the debate forums (earlier defending Paul as being a misunderstood Jewish Christian, until I could no longer), I had never convinced anyone of anything.
Now, as a non-Paulinist Noahide for the past 20 years, I've argued against Paulinism, and debated against those Jews who promote Paulinism as the religion of Jesus and the Apostles (it is not)....and no matter how well I think I've presented my side of the debate, I've never convinced anyone of anything...never.
I present the arguments because there are those like me (and perhaps you) who are seeking truth, who are not satisfied with Paulinism, but, who still see Jesus as being both the "True Prophet (like unto Moses)" at his 1st Coming and as being the "Messiah b. David" at his return. For myself, I have found the answers (that satisfied my personal search), and Nazarene Judaism is so much more logical than Paulinism.

The Concept of the "Trinity" Although the word "Trinity" (Ha-shilush Ha-kadosh) does not directly appear in the Scriptures, it is an entirely Jewish concept, derived from both the Tanakh and the Brit Chadashah. Scripturally, God is revealed as "triune" in some of the following ways:
The Omniscient Voice - The Scriptures speak from an omniscient, "third person" perspective. When we read, "In the beginning, God (אֱלהִים) created the heavens and the earth," we must ask who exactly is speaking? Who is the narrator of the Torah? The very next verse states that the Spirit of God (רוּחַ אֱלהִים) was hovering over the face of the waters (Gen. 1:2), followed by the first direct quote of the word of God Himself: "Let there be light" (Gen. 1:3). The creative activity of Elohim (God) and the presence of Ruach Elohim (the Spirit of God) are narrated by an omniscient Voice or Word of God. Obviously the Spirit of God is God Himself (who else?) just as the Word of God is likewise God Himself, and therefore in the first three verses of the Torah the Triune nature of the Godhead is presented.
The Mysterious use of Aleph-Tav - In Or Torah, Rabbi Dov Ber, the Maggid of Mezritch, explained first words of Torah: Bereshit Bara Elohim Et - "In the beginning God created et (אֵת)" (Gen 1:1). Note that et is an untranslatable word used to indicate that "a definite direct object is next" (thus there needs to be an et before the heavens and the earth). But Dov Ber points out that et is spelled - Aleph-Tav, an abbreviation for the Aleph-Bet. Aleph is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet and Tav the last, though the grammar of the verse may indicate that Elohim is not the subject of the verb, but rather Aleph-Bet. Creation begins and ends with the redemptive love of God as manifested in the Person of Yeshua our Mashiach... He is the Center of Creation - it's beginning and end. As it is written: אָנכִי אָלֶף וְתָו רִאשׁוֹן וְאַחֲרוֹן ראשׁ וָסוֹף / "I am the 'Aleph' and the 'Tav,' the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End" (Rev. 22:13). Indeed, Yeshua is מֶלֶךְ מַלְכֵי הַמְּלָכִים / Melech Malchei Hamelachim: The "King of kings of kings." He is LORD of all possible worlds -- from the highest celestial glory to the dust of death upon a cross... יְהִי שֵׁם יהוה מְברָךְ - "Let the Name of the LORD be blessed" forever and ever (Psalm 113:2).
Plural Names - Elohim (אֱלהִים), the third word in the Tanakh, is a plural form. This Name is often associated with singular verbs. For example, the first occurrence of the word Elohim occurs with a masculine singular verb bara (בָּרָא), meaning "he (singular) created," though in other places Elohim takes verbs with plural endings. For example, in Gen. 35:7, says, "there God (אֱלהִים) revealed himself (נִגְלוּ) to him." Note that the verb (גָּלָה) is third person plural form. We see the same grammar in Psalm 58:11 where it says "there is a God who judges (pl.) in the earth (יֵשׁ־אֱלֹהִים שׁפְטִים בָּאָרֶץ).
Plural Pronouns - The LORD God, speaking in Genesis 1:26, says "Let us make man in our image and in our likeness" / נַעֲשֶׂה אָדָם בְּצַלְמֵנוּ כִּדְמוּתֵנוּ (see also Genesis 3:22, 11:7, Isaiah 6:8). Some have suggested the plural verb (נַעֲשֶׂה) indicates majesty, but the "plural of majesty" is not used with verbs. Jewish tradition interprets the plural personal pronoun to refer to angels, but there is no evidence that God created the world - and human beings, in particular - through angelic intermediaries (see Gen. 1:29), and angels themselves are created beings (Psalm 148:2, 5).
"Creators" - In Ecclesiastes 12:1 it is written, "Remember your Creators (בּוֹרְאֶיךָ, a masc. pl. noun with 2ms ending) in the days of your youth," and in Psalm 149:2 Israel is commanded to rejoice in his Makers (בְּעשָׂיו, a masc. pl. noun with 3ms ending). As mentioned above, in Genesis 1:1-3, God (Elohim), the Spirit of God (Ruach Elohim), and the Word of God (and God said...), are all involved in the creation of the universe.
"Makers" - In Isaiah 54:5 plural constructions are used in conjunction with three separate Names of God. "For your Maker (pl.) is your husband (pl.), the LORD of hosts (יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת) is his Name; the Holy One of Israel (קדוֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל) is your Redeemer (גאֲלֵךְ), the God of all the earth (אֱלהֵי כָל־הָאָרֶץ) He is called." Note that Maker, the LORD of Hosts, and the Redeemer are all referred to as "The God of all the earth," suggesting a "plural transcendental unity."
Plurality within the Godhead - King David writes: "The LORD (YHVH) says to my Lord (Adonai): sit at my right hand until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet (Psalm 110:1), and Psalm 45:6-7 says "Your throne, O God (Elohim), is forever and ever....therefore God, Your God (Elohim), has anointed You with the oil of joy more than Your fellows."
The Great Torah Blessing - The great blessing of the Torah, called Birkat Kohanim (the blessing of the priests) is a threefold blessing that includes the Sacred Name three separate times: The LORD (יְהוָה) bless you and keep you; the LORD (יְהוָה) make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD (יְהוָה) lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace (Num. 6:24-26). Notice that God then tells Moses, "So shall they put my Name upon the people of Israel, and I will bless them." This is similar to the prophet Isaiah's vision of the seraphim crying out, "Holy, Holy, Holy is the LORD of Hosts..." (Isa. 6:3).
The Shema and Oneness - In the Shema we read, "Shema Yisrael (Hear, 0 Israel): Adonai Eloheinu (the Lord our Gods), Adonai Echad (the Lord is one)." Notice that the Name of God appears three names in the six primary words, and that the Shema and its blessings is composed of three separate portions (i.e., the Shema, the Vehayah, and the Vayomer sections). In addition, the Shema is recited three times in one day: in the morning, evening, and before going to bed. Interestingly, the word echad in Hebrew can imply a unity in diversity, not absolute numerical identity (the word for one and only one, i.e., "unique," is yachid). For example, in Exodus 26:6 the parts of the Tabernacle (mishkan) are to be constructed so that "it shall be one (echad) tabernacle," and Ezekiel spoke of two "sticks" (representing fragmented Israel) as being reunited into one: "and they shall be one (echad) stick in My hand" (Ezekiel 37:19). Moses also uses echad in Genesis 2:24 when he says: "And they (husband and wife) will become one flesh (basar echad)." There is no contradiction implied in the "oneness" (אַחְדוּת) of God and His multiplicity, and indeed, the idea of the triune nature of the Godhead answers the age-old metaphysical problem of the "one and the many" (i.e., to find a unifying aspect behind everything to have a coherent notion of the "uni-verse").The idea of the triunity of God does not impugn the Oneness of God, but it transcends rabbinical Judaism and Islam's idea of "absolute monism" by understanding oneness in reference to an eternality of intra-personal community. In other words, Ultimate Reality is multidimensional, personal and loving, and that is part of the very essence of God. There is no such thing as a "Person" - either human or Divine - that exists in an absolute vacuum, outside of relationship. Aristotle's "Unmoved Mover" is a solipsistic illusion and logical absurdity....
Isaiah 48:12-16 - In this passage, the God of Israel calls Himself the first and the last (אֲנִי רִאשׁוֹן אַף אֲנִי אַחֲרוֹן). The "First and the Last," declares that "the Lord God (אֲדנָי יְהוִה) has sent Me and His Spirit (וְרוּחוֹ). The Creator (אֱלהִים) who is speaking claims to have been sent by the Lord God (YHVH) and His Spirit (Ruach).
The Angel of the LORD - This mysterious King of Angels was treated as God Himself, exercising divine prerogatives and receiving worship. He is first mentioned in Genesis 16:7-13 where He is clearly called God. After he spoke with Hagar in the desert, she called him "the LORD" (יהוה) and identified Him as El-Roi (אֵל ראִי) - the "God who sees me" (Gen. 16:13). He later appeared to Abraham in the grove at Mamre (Gen. 18:1-ff) to reaffirm the promise of a coming heir, and later still, during the most terrifying moment of the sacrifice of Isaac, he cried out to stop Abraham from bringing down the knife on his son (Gen. 22:11, see also Gen. 22:15-ff). And note especially that it was the "Angel of the LORD" who appeared to Moses in the "burning bush" and identified himself as YHVH, the "God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob" (see Exod. 3:2-ff).

In those days ghosts were pretty much scary except for Casper the Friendly Ghost. When I would ask the kids about the Holy Ghost whether it was a scary ghost or if it was friendly like Casper, they would look at me very confused but usually they would say "I guess it must be like Casper".

So we see that the word "Echad" can imply a complex unity. Once you understand that God is beyond our understanding and that his nature is not the same as ours, you realize that a singular infinite being can manifest as more than one person.

I finally figured out that the original texts of the gospels were written the same way Isaiah 53 was. When speaking about HIM it wasn't referring to one person but many persons aninted by God. (Hosea 11:1, Isaiah 11:1-3, Isaiah 56:4-6) blind guides who edited the gospels didn't realize this. Just as they didn't realize the virgin daughter of Zion is not one person named Mary.

Honestly, I think the trinity is the best conclusion one could make if they are trying to comport the Cristian bible with the Tanach although they are completely opposed to each other. paul claiming in 1 timothy 2 that jesus is an intercessor between G-d and man is completely against the 10 Commandments. So what is the church forced to do? make up a convoluted hypo-static union where 3 persons can be G-d but somehow at the same time the Father is greater than the son.

The bishops that decided the doctrine of the Trinity were in a very difficult situation. The apostle, Paul of Tarsus, had written to Timothy, in a letter that they all avowed, not to let himself be spoiled, in the sense of being defeated and plundered, by philosophy. But the emperor Constantine demanded a unified philosophical document from the bishops. They considered themselves unable to say no to Constantine. So they produced the document and then fractured into factions and fought over philosophy.
Jesus himself offered as an alternative that people believe him for the work's sake. In other words to believe what he did, rather than needing to believe anything about his purpose. His message was repent for the kingdom of heaven is near.
It is more important to believe what Jesus did, than to believe anything about Jesus.

I’ve often wondered why as a truly devout Baptist I found it so easy to give up the Trinity in my journey to Judaism. I had a much harder time with Christmas, which seems intellectually weird to me. I had a personal conviction and habit of praying to the Father, cause that is what Jesus said to do, and when I was challenged about the Trinity by my boyfriend (future husband), I said ok, it doesn’t bother me. He said - really? and I said I always felt it was a little sketchy. I think in my head they never were three people in one. Really the only way to believe it is to suspend your own intellectual faculties and accept it as some mystical truth humans are incapable of understanding. And if G-d is omnipresent, there is no way for Him to withdraw His presence from anyone, so the whole “hell is separation from G-d for eternity” makes no sense. Hell could only be the willful ignorance of G-d’s presence.

@@aquariusrising144 Plato had many Trinities. The main one was: ZEUS the main God. APPOLO his son. And ATHENIUS goddess of wisdom and knowledge. To the Greek philosophers this defined divinity for centuries.
Constantine, Augustine, Athanasius and others proclaimed that the Greeks had a higher understanding of metaphysics than the (primitive) Jews and "upgraded" Christianity to a higher level. They have no hesitation to admit that they "improved" (changed) things.
The Catholic Church admits that the disciples and early Christians had no understanding of the Trinity. It was revealed to Greeks who were spiritually ready for the whole "truth". So, they are gently saying that "Jesus didn't tell us who he is because people weren't ready, and Jews are not capable of understanding God."
The Trinity is nowhere in the Bible. So, if you believe in it, you should know where it came from, and defend it's origin. If you believe God is a Trinity, then you have to agree with what the Catholic Church says, because it did not exist until they created it.

@@imwelshjesus Hi. Christians do not believe in 3 separate Gods. They believe there is only 1 God who exists as 3 distinct persons. Here is another definition.
“Within the one Being that is God, there exists eternally three coequal and coeternal persons, namely, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”
“Being is what makes something what it is. Person is what makes someone who he or she is.”
“God’s being is eternal not limited by both time and omnipresent (not limited by space)”
A rock has being but a rock is not personal. “What is personality? The ability to have emotion, will, to express oneself.” God has these abilities so God is a personal being.
All 3 persons share the 1, undivided, identical divine nature from all of eternity.
Only The Son took on an additional nature, a human nature. He is Fully God and Fully Human.
The title “The Son of God” expresses his Divine nature. He is by nature what his Father is.
Colossians 2:9 NASB1995 For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form,
That verse means all that makes God, God dwells in Jesus.
It was prophesied that God would come and he did.
John 6:38 ESV For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me.
Mark 1:1-3 BSB This is the beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. As it is written in Isaiah the prophet: “Behold, I will send My messenger ahead of You, who will prepare Your way.” “A voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for Him.’”
John the Baptist prepared the way for Jesus which means Jesus is the Lord, the title “The Son of God” emphasizes this.
Satan knew the significance of Jesus being The Son of God.
Matthew 4:3 LSB And the tempter came and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”
He knew because of The Son’s Divine nature he could speak things into existence, only the Lord is Sovereign to do this.
Psalm 33:8-9 ESV Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him! For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm.
Jesus explained the significance of him being The Son of God.
John 14:8-9 ESV Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
Jesus was not saying that he is the Father. They are 2 distinct persons. The point he was making is that since he is the Son of God, he possesses the identical Divine nature as his Father, so knowing and seeing him, is the same as knowing, and seeing the Father. He is equal to the father and represents him perfectly.
Hebrews 1:2-3 BSB But in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His nature, upholding all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
Jesus is eternal and is just as glorious as the Father.
John 17:5 NASB2020 And now You, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world existed.
God shares his glory with no other being.
Isaiah 42:8 LSB I am Yahweh, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to graven images.
This is not a contradiction. The Father and The Son share the 1 being of God, so they share the same glory and name which is Yahweh.
1 Corinthians 2:8 LSB which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had understood it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
Psalm 24:10 LSB Who is He, this King of glory? Yahweh of hosts, He is the King of glory.
Jesus says he knows the hearts of mankind, knowledge which only God has.
1 Kings 8:39 NASB2020 then hear in heaven, Your dwelling place, and forgive and act, and give to each in accordance with all his ways, whose heart You know-for You alone know the hearts of all mankind
Revelation 2:23 BSB Then I will strike her children dead, and all the churches will know that I am the One who searches minds and hearts, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.
Jesus says he is the first and the last, a title only for God, again claiming to be Yahweh.
Isaiah 44:6 LSB “Thus says Yahweh, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, Yahweh of hosts: ‘I am the first, and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me.

Revelation 1:17-18 LSB And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet like a dead man. And He placed His right hand on me, saying, “Do not fear; I am the first and the last, and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forever and ever, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.
Jeremiah 23:6 LSB “In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell securely; And this is His name by which He will be called, ‘Yahweh our righteousness.’

The Holy Spirit is called God and eternal.
Acts 5:3-4 NASB1995 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the price of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not under your control? Why is it that you have conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”
2 Samuel 23:2-4 BSB The Spirit of the LORD spoke through me; His word was on my tongue. The God of Israel spoke; the Rock of Israel said to me, ‘He who rules the people with justice, who rules in the fear of God, is like the light of the morning at sunrise of a cloudless dawn, the glistening after the rain on the sprouting grass of the earth.’
Hebrews 9:14 LSB how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Christians are called the temple of The Holy Spirit and the temple of God because the Holy Spirit is God.
1 Corinthians 6:19 NASB1995 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?
2 Corinthians 6:16 NASB1995 Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, “I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.

He is a Divine person and is just as glorious as the Father and The Son.
Acts 13:2 LSB And while they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”
Ephesians 4:30 ESV And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
1 Peter 4:14 BSB If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.
The Holy Spirit creates, only God creates.
Job 33:4 ESV The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
Proverbs 22:2 LSB The rich and the poor meet together in this- Yahweh is the Maker of them all.
The Holy Spirit shares the 1 being of God with The Father and The Son. They share the same name, glory, and all 3 played a part in creation.
Genesis 1:26 NASB1995 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
Matthew 28:19 ESV Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
“This verse shows there is both a unity between Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (one name) and a distinction (three persons).” That 1 name is Yahweh.
The Father is not the Son.
The Father loves the Son, it takes more than 1 person to have fellowship. The Son was with the Father before the world existed, they have an eternal relationship. Christians have fellowship with the Father and the Son, 2 distinct persons.
1 John 1:2-3 NASB2020 and the life was revealed, and we have seen and testify and proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and was revealed to us- what we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.
The Father is not the Holy Spirit.
Christians also have fellowship with the Holy Spirit and he helps them according to the will of the Father.
Romans 8:26-27 BSB In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words. And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
The Son is not the Holy Spirit. Jesus makes that clear.
Matthew 12:32 BSB Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the one to come.
Luke 3:21-22 BSB When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as He was praying, heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended on Him in a bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”

While there are numerous, clear threats in the Christian bible for not believing Jesus is the Messiah, there is nothing in the Christian bible that says the threats are for not believing Jesus is God. As the Rabbi mentioned, Paul always differentiated between God and Jesus, referring only to the Father as God and calling Jesus by the lesser, human title "lord." Peter also stated that "lord" was an appointed position -- "God has made him both Lord and Christ” (Acts 2:36). It wasn't until the second century CE that the Gentile church fathers began to call Jesus "our God" (Ignatius and Polycarp).

Thanks for making these videos. I always appreciate seeing how Jewish Bible scholars understand these things.
The entire trinity thing is a Catholic creation and argument but the divinity of Jesus is relevant. Considering this, how does modern Judaism see the difference between the Ancient of Days and the Son of Man in Daniel 7:9-14? The one like a Son of Man is described as arriving "on the clouds of heaven." Verse 27 state s that "the people" (that's you guys) will be given the kingdom but then it says "and all dominions shall serve and obey HIM"
    Daniel 7:9-14
“I watched till thrones were put in place,
    And the Ancient of Days was seated;
His garment was white as snow,
And the hair of His head was like pure wool.
His throne was a fiery flame,
    Its wheels a burning fire;
    10 A fiery stream issued
And came forth from before Him.
    A thousand thousands ministered to Him;
Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him.
    The court was seated,
    And the books were opened.
11 “I watched then because of the sound of the pompous words which the horn was speaking; I watched till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame. 12 As for the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away, yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.
13 “I was watching in the night visions,
And behold, One like the Son of Man,
Coming with the clouds of heaven!
He came to the Ancient of Days,
And they brought Him near before Him.
14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom,
That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion,
    Which shall not pass away,
    And His kingdom the one
    Which shall not be destroyed.
    Daniel 7:27
27 Then the kingdom and dominion,
And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven,
Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High.
His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.’

I'm a Noahide. The trinity is real but it has nothing to do with the essence of God. The trinity is a high level of kabbalah that allows the user to express themselves by tapping into certain energies. The Roman church misinterpreted Jesus and the trinity because they lacked kabbalah knowledge. Jesus knew high level kabbalah and misused it to be a warlock. The trinity is found buried in the entire Old Testament. But it's not synonymous with being God, it's how a vessel repairs itself.😊 The kabbalist hid this because Christians are easily fooled by anything that is the number 3.

We believe in the trinity because it is biblical. The same reason Jews believed in the two powers in heaven. However what most Jews get wrong is we don’t think there’s 2 gods. We think there is one supreme God. And he reveals himself to us in the form of the Son because the father is unknowable and has inconceivable majesty yet he wants us to know him. This is the prophecy of Daniel “son of man,” where the son of man is brought before the divine majesty and given dominion and rule over all things and given to be worshipped. Because he is in fact God as god doesn’t share his glory.

The union of God is only intuitive and clear to us if we love all of his creation.
Then, we gain a sense of his omniscient presence (rather than the dualism imbibed in the Good vs Evil paradigm).
By performing the Jewish mitzvot, we regularly sanctify God's creation up to the most minute details.
Even things that would seem unsanctified, like blessing god for our bowel system.
Furthermore, a marker of the Jewish Hassidic movement is to sanctify creation by performing God's Mitzvos with happiness -
To achieve happiness in any given situation by means of prayer and contemplation; song, dance food, and even drink, etc.
    (See Deuteronomy 28:47-48:

Newton wrote vastly on alchemy, which should be considered a philosophy in it's own right and not merely a proto-science. As a proto-science, it is more akin to a proto-psychology than a proto-chemistry, as is the common opinion (I'm happy to elucidate in chat or in the comments), and Newton was interested in the considerable discussion in the alchemical corpus on God, the human soul, and matter, as Newton, even in his published works, considered his work on physics to be an expression of worship toward the Creator and a revelation of his divine arcitecture. Newton is considered by many biographers to have been a deist, and not necessarily Christian, and so Newton's writings on Christianity should be considered in alchemical or deist context and not primarily in that of Christianity. The resurrection of the dead - e.g. Daniel 12:2.

Here is a discussion point that I haven't heard anyone discuss regarding the trinity, so I'm hoping Rabbi Singer or others may have ideas about it... The concept of a trinity seems, to me at least, to limit God. With it, God "must" have these three components, and if not, God is not God. I have a hard time accepting an infinite being beyond our comprehension has that type of limitation. Thinking about it in mathematical terms, dividing "infinity" by 3 still equals "infinity." In other words, it's meaningless to do so. And I come from a generationally Christian background, so this is a difficult thing for me to even post.
