    Bro I'm serious you are a fucking LIFE SAVER! My girlfriend helped me with the rubber bands and my locs look way cleaner and more professional. If anyone is curious about this guy, he is super legit. I messaged him on instagram to ask more specific questions about my locs and he responded to me with a full, detailed answer about how to do my roots and was super helpful. Give this guy a sub- I can tell you from experience my locs were super messy and this method alone made them presentable again. Thanks man!

      I wouldn’t advise it. With clean dreadlocks it’s always two steps forward and one step back kind of deal. As those hairs get longer it will be easier for them to settle in the nearest root. Just keep em clean n give it time. 👍🏻

    Hello I hope you see this comment. We have similar texture hair and I just dread my hair a month ago so I just started and I had a few questions. Can I was them like twice a week ? I’ve only washed them once since and I asked this because the dandruff is getting bad! My second question ties into dandruff too because it leaves flakes in my dreads! How do I remove them I tried on one dread it came kinda loose so now I gotta repair it now. If any of this makes sense your help would be appreciated

    So I’ve been using this method ever since you made the other video a couple of years back but I’ve always wondered if wash your hair with them in or not. When I wash them and I take the rubber bands out, there’s some oil buildup so I might just need to wash my hair more often.

    • @CharlesYamabe
      @CharlesYamabe  6 років тому

      Tyler Woods yeah I wash my hair with them in. It would take a long time to take them all out and replace them. It’s always worked just leaving them in so I just kept doing it.

    • @CharlesYamabe
      @CharlesYamabe  6 років тому

      Tyler Woods by the way how has it worked out for you?

    • @tylerwoods7378
      @tylerwoods7378 6 років тому +1

      Charles Yamabe it’s worked great so far. since my dreadlocks are still pretty young there are some loose hairs at the roots but for the most part I can see my hair dreading more and more each month. Sometimes if I want a really clean look I’ll do a quick crochet on my roots thats not too harsh because I know that crocheting is only temporary but ever since I’ve been palm rolling and using the hat trick with the rubber bands, I only have to worry about the roots new growth and a couple of dreads that aren’t that mature. Btw thank you for helping me in the past. It’s saved me so much time because I use to spend 6 hours plus in the bathroom crocheting my hair haha.
