  • Akai MPC LIVE 2 is compared with modern synthesisers. I believe that MPC from AKAI can offer way more than any of the synthesisers on the market today and here is why...

    I just got my live 2 about a month ago. It’s a lot to learn I’m still diving into it.

      Thank you for your comment. There a lot of tutorials here on UA-cam to help you. I watched a number of those to learn about MPC workflow. Any questions - just ask.
      Thanks

    I’ve used both a lot. The MODX blows the MPC out of the water in every way except the MPC has one of the best sequencers.

      Thank you for your comment and for watching the video. I guess it would depend on what is important for each user. Also, I think I got a bit fed up with Yamaha sounds for the last 20 years since a lot of those have not changed for years... Also, I like the sampler on MPC a lot since anything can be turned into instrument very easy... But I appreciate that all of us have different needs and uses for the gear. Thank you!!!

    Congrats. Yes MPC it amazing. I have had the MPC One since 2020 and Love it. So I recently bought and received the MPC X SE; and wow it is one the best instrument I've ever used, only equaled by my Waldorf Iridium Keyboard Version. I will be using my One for travel and teaching youth. Chopping samples on the MPC X SE is so much fun and intuitive. I love that I can get to all of my q-links and they have labels. It has really inspired me to go further with my music. But really all of the MPCs are great and have there place.

      Thank you for your comment. I was also looking at the MPC X SE.... hmmm. I think if I would have bought it I would loved it but.... I like the LIVE 2 since it is mobile and to me that is so far the best advantage... All of these are great tools. Thank you for watching!!!

    Mpc s are great ! Best sequencer, best sampler, pre amped mic inputs, several synth engines, cv gates, best drumpads, great controller. Great prices

      I am having constant problems with OBS - somehow the sample rates do not match to the one on the sound card despite me setting it up and re-setting endless number of times…

    I need more than 61 keys for what I do lots of splits and I need 1 more ovtave

    • @amateurmusicstudio
      @amateurmusicstudio  9 місяців тому

      Thank you for watching the video and for your comment. MPC could be used for splits but it is too much hassle as far as I can tell - I do not use splits myself so cannot really tell you much apart from it would be possible. Fantom 0 - it is great for splits but as some people mentioned in comments to some of my videos - polyphony on Fantom 0 series is not the best on the market so you may want to look elsewhere for splits. I hope this helps. Thanks!

    I think keyboards have better synth engines, better sound loading times, and more immediacy. MPCs have more overall functionality.

      Thank you for your comment. I agree, MPC is good but not perfect (at least not yet) :-) I like the sampler on the MPC and the way it was implemented. Thank you for watching!!!

    Why didnt you buy MPC keys already instead of buying AMLive+RFantom=pricier combo? 😊

    • @amateurmusicstudio
      @amateurmusicstudio  2 місяці тому

      Thank you for your question - the MPC Keys 61 was not available at the point of making that video. Also, I do not think I would do it now either... There is just something about the Fantom 06 that I like a lot... a bit of everything... It is not perfect but I like it.... Thank you for your time!!!
