Overview: Gold is like t outliner blade where as silver is more like the GTX blade. Gold is better for shorter hair silver better for longer hair and thicker hair. Gold tends to scratch a bit more but not to the point of pain. Gold one is quieter. Replacement blades or parts are mostly out of stock or hard to find but are compatible with both trimmers. In conclusion both trimmers are great and you can’t go wrong with either.
I have really thick straight hair and I want the taper fade with a line up like Anuel AA what they pretty much call the edgar lol but which one should I get then
I heard you mention the differences between the two(2) were the short vs. long teeth for short vs longer hair. Were you Still referring to Lining/Outlining the hair, i.e. Shaping the beards, neck-lines, and around the haircut, which is what I need and have seen, as advertised?? Which one will give the Sharpest line, like in the various videos?
IamCesar I like em, but their are a few things I don’t like. I haven’t had to use my corded T outliners since, but on rare occasion I’ll pick up my slimlines.

Honestly the gold FX is sharper, gets closer to the skin and takes down bulk much better (even though I don't use them for that) but they do slightly pull on the skin at times (not enough to be a problem or irritate skin). The deeper tooth on the graphites seems like a gimmick trying to mimic the greatness of the GTX but the gold blade is also pretty deep (no where as short as the regular t Outliner blade)
i feel you bro, i hear a lot of people say they they liked the gold fx lot better, that they are more of a hitter. yes, everybody loves the OG GTX blade man its unparalleled at the moment for corded. i feel like the gold are well rounded
Very informative. I was wondering why the Graphite Blade doesn't hit like the Gold Blade and it's definitely due to the thinness of the Blades. Im thinking of modifying the Graphite but hadn't seen too many reviews on performance after modifying (sharpening)
Thank you, yeah you can def sharpen the 2.0 blade but I wouldn’t do it just for the sharpness. If that’s the case I would go with the fine tooth blade which is graphite as well. It hits well and it’s like the sweet spot between the 2.0 and the ultra thin blade

So I’m a fellow barber and a few weeks ago I purchased a set of the silver fx’s form Sally’s beauty supply. Took them out and tried them on myself first and the graphite blade ran really hot, I thought ok that’s odd. So I oiled them. Still same problem. So I talked to Rum Barber here on UA-cam which is another barber. He suggested I keep them oiled real good as to get them broken in some which I can see. I did that and the blade was still hot. I was puzzled I was like wow an almost $200 set of trimmers should not be doing this. So Rum Barber suggested I send them back to the company which I did and the Rep who was Tracy was very nice and understanding and being under warranty she fixed me up with an all new set. So I was excited and thought It just be a factory flaw is all it was. So I started using my new set last week and I’ll be darned if the blade isn’t running hot again! I’m like what the heck is going in here. Even the motor sounds a little funny here and there. I’ve oiled them good and am at a loss at to what is going on? Again I like the looks of these trimmers, great feel in the hand I love the skeleton trimmer. Any thoughts or help as to why this is a problem for me and has anyone else experienced this? Is there a power adjustment for them? Thanks for listening!

Hi Bro, nice video. Do you know which lenght options the gold fx has? Is it adjustable with 0,5 mm from Zero-40mm of like the clipper till 3,5mm? Last thing I need to know before buying.
I recommend either the ultra thin blade (gold) or the fine tooth graphite blade. Either once will give you sharp edges. If it’s just edging up not really bulking I’d go with the ultra thin blade.
I recommend the silver or any of the trimmers with the 2.0 blade. Reason why, the 2.0 will cut thru all your scalp like butter without pulling along with trimming your beard with ease. They’re all great choices brother but it all depends on what you want to spend, and what suits you better. The Senior has great power battery is not a great but you can replace it with a tomb 45 battery and masters really expensive and heavy they do have the most power but the battery dies quick and after time they get loud. The lopro are also great like the seniors I would choose between the Senior and lopro and rebel. Rebels are like seniors and magic clips they’re super lightweight but with so much power probably the best option

ممكن شرح على ماكنه بيبي ليس الشكل الجديد.وشكرا لك احبك 💓🌹🇮🇶
Which clippers (brand & model) would you recommend for a zero gapped trimmer used for at home whole head balding/shaving? Thanks
i would recommend some Cordless detailers straight out the box
@@iamcesarq Thanks. I'm really considering getting the Babyliss fx skeleton trimmer but I'm not sure if I should get the fine tooth or standard blade, I want as clean of a trim as possible? I like the black or silver but it looks like they both come with the deep tooth blade which is unfortunate.
Whats the dkc blade on infkuencer
I have thick short Asian hair which one should I get?
_ MIKIMOTO _ the deep tooth 🦷
Is any difference between skeleton fx 787 GSE (gunsteel pro) and skeleton fx 787 G (gold)?
Thank you bro!
it will only be the blade bro, all other trimmers come with the 2.0 blade graphite or not the gold one is the only one that comes with an ultra thin blade
Do these have a model number of their own besides the trimmer ?
Yes they do bro
One drop and the blade its gone bought this trimmer , it fell from my station and the blade was gone after 2 weeks of use🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Shit happens! Lol pricey accident
My gold one is way louder than the silver fx . Idk why lol
MAAJIC CHAIR lol that’s just how it is sometimes, I remember the very first batch got pretty loud. They seem to be a lot better nowadays though especially huge difference with the clippers
Which one would u recommend for doing baldys?
Out of these two, the gold one for sure bro
If someone wants to help a girl out... im struggling so much with these trimmers. I can't seem to get the screws unscrewed to zero gap it with that tool that came with it. It literally won't unscrew the two little screws iv given up in fear of stripping the screws. Any tips would be appreciated.
Holly Arriaga have you tried taking the blade completely off the trimmer and applying a solid pressure straight into the blade screw?
what the best please senior or master or lo pro fx or rebel ?
They’re all great choices brother but it all depends on what you want to spend, and what suits you better. The Senior has great power battery is not a great but you can replace it with a tomb 45 battery and masters really expensive and heavy they do have the most power but the battery dies quick and after time they get loud. The lopro are also great like the seniors I would choose between the Senior and lopro and rebel.
Rebels are like seniors and magic clips they’re super lightweight but with so much power probably the best option
I just ordered the babyliss gold fx , is it good out the box or should I zero gap them?
depends, try em out. a lot come gapped good already
So does the Gold fx’ cut closer to the skin or are they the same?
The blade on the gold fx gets the closest since it is the thinnest blade 👍🏼
Great review, if you could only pick one which would it be?
TheWillDiamond I honestly like the gold ones, they have a black fine tooth black blade as well!
Best one for skinning my head please ?,
The gold trimmer gets closer to the skin. 👍🏼
After watching your video I found the silver ones at Walmart for $80 I bought those checked Walmart again 2 days later they change the price to $100🤔
I just got these edgers with the new black diamond carbon deeptooth blade on it. It is great
Did yours came already oiled? Mine did and it got me thinking it might be used or refurbished.
Great Vid.. I just bought Rose goldfx.. I'm new to the barber game but can I use Andis all in one clipper spray on my babybliss or do I have to use babybliss spray??
Courtney Davis any of them work just fine brother. They all do similar stuff only difference is packaging and brand
@@iamcesarq Thanks bro
you explained it well I spend 200$ on the gold skeleton where I have a fade and locks & that’s why I struggle to cut I wasn’t inpressed at all
Damn so much conflicting feedback on gold and silver im contemplating purchasing for facial hair shaving id guess the areas id shave are not thick at all but the moustache and chin area hair is course most seem to prefer the gold.Found a silver for $200 which by the sounds need to purchase a fine tooth blade for or simply go with the goldFX instead because id also want a nice sharp outline for moustache and goatee what would you suggest? Hair prob grows atleast 2-4mm prior to shaving
niko trill thank you, perhaps try the cordless detailers? They are the bombskies
CASUAL T hey brother, I believe 200$ is a little too pricey. On average they go for about 170-180 max check out our website. We have a sale going that is if you still need one. Www.SupremeBarberSupply.com also I would recommend you check out the cordless detailer. They are really well in general trimmers. If on a budget perhaps some slimlines or hitterz 👍🏼
@@iamcesarq hey fella, what would you recommend for facial usage, (coarse hair, with very sensitive skin prone to ingrowns) the Babyliss pro trimmer or wahl? Or a brand like oster?
May I ask, Which blade does the rose gold one have? Thanks!
J L it has a regular DLC Tiatabuim 2.0 blade
IamCesar ok thank you, ended up getting the gold awhile back and don’t regret it
