Babyliss actually has 3 different types of blades. The ones you just showed us are the Deeptooth and Standard blade . The only fine tooth blade Babyliss has is the fx707b which is the original blade on the graphite trimmers.
Fx707b - Fine tooth (only comes in graphite)
Fx707b2 - Deep tooth (graphite)
Fx707g - STANDARD blade (gold)
Fx707g2 - Deep tooth blade (gold)
Fx707RG - standard blade (rose gold)
Brandon Myles yessir, Also got my hands on the Ultra thin Zero gap Blade FX707Z as well.
More blades are to come! Super excited. Thank you for this 👍🏼
what about white fx rob tha original i cant find any reviews on those. are they hittaz?
nd what kinda blade do they have?
@@iamcesarq The guy made a mistake. There is no such thing as a Fx707G Gold Standard blade. Its actually what you have that is correct which is the Fx707Z Gold Standard blade. Now there is a Fx707G2 Gold blade. Babyliss only makes 2 Gold blades.
@@iamcesarq nice bro ! I’m a year late but where did you find that ?
I recently broke my trimmer blade and i got the 2.0 blade for my trimmer, i noticed right away that the blade doesnt cut as sharp as the original blade but when it comes to removing hair, u can tell right away is smoother on the client's skin.
P.S: right now that heat is going up be careful balding out customers. Customers are coming in with open pores because of the heat outside and i noticed that my trimmer sometimes get stuck on their pores and cuts people, yall be careful.
I recommend using Osage rub for that 👍🏼 it’s an awesome solution. It makes their skin glide with the shaver or any blade 💯💯. Thanks for watching my friend! I agree with the feed back!
IamCesar How do you use it? Do you put it on before or after shaping up? thx
Cesar always bringing the truth most don't want to hear 😂. legit video bro! I think Sofie put it on an IG post, The original gold blade does not have fine teeth it's the sweet spot in the middle of fine and deep which Babyliss considers their "Standard" blade. I find it hard for them to make the blade any better but that's just my opinion
Thanks for the Video Bro, I appreciate the video and thanks for youre review.I’m watching youre videos from Germany.
My 2.0 blades on my silver fx hit hard and close u have 2 zero gap them right and I got the gold fx both hitters
Between the two which one should I buy ?
Die hard knicks Fan since I was swimmin in the sack gold ones hands down I have both and you’ll find more use and satisfaction using the gold ones with the fine tooth blade
DC Vlogs yea I got mines 3 days ago. They hit pretty good
Color is banging nice
Great video
DEE81CASH thanks for watching 🙏🏼
what blade is the 1.0 blade
Only 2.0 blade brother no 1.0
Do yours get hot my 2.0 silvers Fxs get hot
BG Tha Great they do not brother. Cool care should help you out there 👍🏼
IamCesar I took them to my local clippers sharpening spot I have the babyliss all in one clipper spray
My silver fx 2.0 blade heats up real quick and cool care doesn’t help
Podrían ponerle un subtitulo en español así aprendería muchisimo en mis clases
My Gold babyliss give me skin burn when i use them why is that??
Possibly because the blade is super sharp and the blade is adjusted too gapped. I recommend you move the cutting blade a bit less than what it is to avoid any further irritation
What would you recommend me for both facial hair (moustache) and hair (bald guy)? Thanks
Putting in work. Keep rockin my dude 💪🏽💪🏽 if ya didn't know already... when you do your blade closeups for us to your cam lens put your other hand behind the blade to block the background in your shot. It will help the autofocus adjust to what's closest and focus again. It's quicker than holding it there in front of the lens and waiting for it to try to figure out what to focus on close or far away 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
Why on Earth Europe Version has Standard blade Only. 😩😩😩
Even the 4artist Series. 😒😱🥺
It depends on what you use it for ! The 1.0 gold blade is for lineups, designs, and neck lineups. The 2.0 blade is for removing bulk
Marcos Arriola exactly. 👍🏼
So the 1.0 blade is for line ups and designs? I have the black Fx with the 2.0 blade and they don’t hit at all, I want them to hit to line up and edge ups
@@santiagovalenzuela7454 sometimes i get 2.0 replacement blades that come out of the box not cutting at all. Its horrible.
@@spikethedog6901 that’s what I’m saying the blade out the box isn’t it !
@@santiagovalenzuela7454 adjust them closer more like you would set a Wahl trimmer.
Deep tooth (bulking) and fine tooth (crispy lines) have different applications.
Hey Cesar, thanks for this tutorials are very helpful so we can tell the difference between one trimmer to the others. Extremely helpful please continue doing them.
Haz Mat thank you brother, and yes got lots of content ready to come out. Few finishing touches!
@3:33 im super litt watxhing this, and i got scared tbh like what whos there. Keep in mind i have earphones on...
The gold is the standard blade. Only the original graphite blade is the fine tooth and I think they make a gold fine tooth but the standard gold fx is the standard blade. I just watched the Babyliss girl do a video on this.
No, the Gold blade comes as a Standard and as a Deep Tooth blade option.
@@BobaDavis please which babyliss blade is best for shaving around d neck areas ?
A lot of people complain fx3 blade is too sharp around their necks…
@@FofXequalsYnot The fine tooth is more comfortable *on clients, but depending on the texture of the hair, you may find that it isn't cutting well enough. The deep tooth takes everything but move carefully because it can snag and that shit hurts because you're literally yanking the person's skin.
@@BobaDavis 👍🏽thanx bro👍🏽
I like the ultra thin blades for edge ups it’s the best one.
But can snag since the blade is so thin especially in the bottom beard area.
All the other ones are good for bulking and edging especially the 2.0 but the graphite fine tooth is better for both I like the 2.0 and the dlc for older prior and kids works great
Appreciate the content. Does the new Black FX with the new graphite blade have the 2.0 or fine tooth one? Also, is there an added benefit to the graphite blade in general? Thank you.
2.0 bro
2.0 graphite doesn’t heat up
Which of the blades are best for balding
Any of them
Can you compare the ceramic blade to the fine tooth blade for the babyliss fx trimmer (I don't know if the ceramic is a standard or fine tooth)?
You kinda sound like Andy Ruiz lol
hi. What about the standard cut FX707Z? Is that a better blade than all of them? I’m not a barber, just want to trimmer my own head (and maybe the face too). What’s best blade for me, the FX707G2 or FX707Z? Thank you.
I just bought these the other day I like them. I won’t use them as much as my golds but I still will be using them mostly for longer hair clients
DC Vlogs nice brother. All about using them to their advantages 👍🏼
Thank you, I've made up my mind will be getting original gold
between the Wahl detailer and gold fx which one you would pick?
Gold FX not close
Fine tooth 100% of the time....by far
I like that background music lol
Haha thank you 🙏🏼
My gold fx 2.0 doesn’t have a gold titanium cutting blade?
Are you sure that it is 2MM thicker? 2mm is a lot and for it to be even the difference is even more crazy that would make that blade like 3 or something mm that's thick af that has to be wrong
Do the blades come with the screws? Dumb me was trying to set it apart to clean it I should have never done that. 🤦🏻♀️ it was hard to put that middle screw in..and I lost it I can’t find it 😭 where can I find it? Or should I buy the blade?
Whays tge 3rd dlc blade. 1zt is gold 2nd us graphite 2.0 3rd is dlc
Hey guys does the GoldenFX blade fit in the rob the original trimmer?? Thanks
cougar336 yes. All blades are compatible with each other. 👍🏼
@@iamcesarq thank you for your answer! pleease do you know what kind of blade come with the babyliss trimmer white rob the goldenfx standart or the goldenfx 2.0 sorry to bother you!
I think when the 2.0 Blade is completely 0 gapped its better...its for all Types of Hairs which is better too...i chanched the original Graphite 2.0 to the Gold FX 2.0 Blade 0 gapped and its really great
I just brought skeleton fx red but it doesn't bold so smoth why is tha happening;is there any difference between gold fx vs skeleton fx blades;
I have the 2.0 Graphite blade straight 🗑️.
Facts bro I only like the 707G2 it hits that and the fx3 blades the graphite 2.0 is ok but If you want hitters on the lo pro get fx707g2 or fx3
@@desmondalers5369hi. What about the standard cut FX707Z? Is that a better blade than all of them? I’m not a barber, just want to trimmer my own head (and maybe the face too). What’s best blade for me, the FX707G2 or FX707Z? Thank you.
They have 2 versions of the Gold fx 707z blades. They have the standard tooth and the ultra thin
Love the “Got Em” edit haha. Quick question, the fine tooth blade, is that the FX707Z? I want to throw it on my Ion Super Torque trimmers which are the Sally’s Babyliss clones lol.
I'm just in the market for one where do I find a fine tooth I don't want the new 1

Can the GoldFX blades be used with SC Absolute Hitter?
The 1.0 blade can fit on any babyliss trimmer? I have the black pro fx?
so could someone please elaborate on what the difference is between this & the "DLC 2.0" blade that has come, or is coming out soon? thanx
Slapping marca mp in tha background
That’s right bro 💯
Which one should I use for super sharp lines
Standard gold
@@ultra8067 the standard gold is the fine tooth one?
@@mateo8564 no it's just standard level but once 0 gap it's sooooooo crispy dope in lining up... Careful though they'll cut skin if you aren't trained properly with pressure😖
I’m not one to have 2 of the same clipper but I think I’ll get one of each.
We wanna see the cuts! We wanna see if you get down with the clippers
I've been dry shaving my head and face with Andis T outliner for yesrs. It recently broke and I wanted to replace it with a cordless trimmer. Which one of these Babyliss trimmers would be best for my usage?
any of the babyliss skeleton fx's are some of the best trimmers on the market. if you want something to bald out completely, try any foil shaver by andis/babyliss.
Just stick with the andis gtx 🤧
@Kota Lz LMAOOOO
@Kota Lz I have the corded gtx and they're great
Does the gold fx go through bulk
yo bro where do you get your drips?
i got a new gold fx trimmer with the stock gold fx707z blade, it looked to already be zerogapped from factory, i noticed when i use it on really small neck hairs, it seeems to kinda grab/pull, but only when the hair is super tiny, kinda like when its trimmed the day before and just grows a tiny bit. it seems to cut other hairs fine. is this normal? i assume when the hair is super small its kinda coarse, which is why this blade cant cut it properly hence the grabbing/pulling? unless im mistaken. thx
Have any of your blades been modified, or do you think just zero gapping them out the box is fine?
generally i belie all blades are fine with just adjusting them like zero gap to get sharp lines etc. when they dull out i recommend to sharpen if easily within reach or just buy new ones
Thank you for the info
No problem thanks for watching. 🤟🏽
Bro help me please...if u can only have one trimmer which one would u pick? Thanks brooo
id go with the gold just for edging tho
@@bigmalufa is it good for balding out too? I have a t outliner with deep tooth blade but it catches the skin sometimes but edges real nice
will you ever get the magic clip gold nd black ??
we currently have them right now!
Great video. Feel like every review ive seen is by a babyliss sponsored barber.
i agree, it nice to always get reviews from people who aren't sponsored to do it anyways! more raw.
Babylis trimmers #1
They’re great! But In my opinion not number one 🤔
Adjust the red fx and see if it makes a difference,
I adjust pretty much all the trimmers and clippers I use. I used these straight out the box and I adjusted them as well. During the video clips they were adjusted. It was a lot better than straight out the box for sure.
Thanks!
Which one is better for lineups?
The ultra thin blade 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
The clippers look like hitter
Aiden Trejo they are not bad at all man 💯
Notigang waz gud bro
TheFrozenGamer ayy #notigang wassup my brother 🙌🏼
Awsome vidoe 🔥
thank you brother!
I think the deep tooth makes for better edge ups and good for designs I feel like is grabs every hair. Then short tooth is good for taking down hair I feel like short teeth have trouble with those strangling hairs when yours lining someone or doing designs.
I do like the 2.0 a bit better. I would just sharpen them slightly, so they can be a bit better when they hit. But overall I’m not mad, with the performance. It has its perks! But I think they can make a different blade that can maybe be in between hopefully. Oh yeah I did notice it grabs hair with ease like butter 🧈
How does the new Diamond blade, on the new trimmers (rubber gripped w/ green, red, purple) compare with the fx707z blade? I just bought the new red and black trimmers with the diamond blade, and am considering buying the fx707z blade for it, unless, of course, there's no noticeable difference. Thanks.
I’m 4 months late but I got the green ones around the time you made this comment and JUST got them set right last week… the problem with the DLC is it’s EXTREMELY hard to set, everyone else in my shop are still trying to get it set after months so they just use their other blades, but it’s EASILY the best blade next to the Gold 2.0 once you set it bro !!’
@@kashdeposits8267 hola. Como puedo configurarla? Mi dlc 2.0 se encaja mucho en los poros
Have fx 2.0 been zero gapped
yessir, i zero gap almost all my trimmers
How to buy that kind of trimmer in how much is the prize
They about 140 they’re limited edition like the red Babyliss pro fx
if you fond some for that price its a steal we have them for around 160-175$ depending on how hard it is for us to get. prices always vary. www.supremebarbersupply.com
