- How to re-pressurising expansion vessel on an Ideal Logic boiler step by step
This video is for GAS SAFE ENGINEERS only, always follow manufacturer instructions.
Before to start any work on gas appliance isolate the power, turn off the gas and the waters.
1. Remove front cover
2. Download manual
idealheating.c...
3. Drain the boiler
4. Connect compressor to expansion vessel
5. When the boiler pressure drop to 0 bar you can re-pressurise the expansion vessel till 1 bar.
6. Make sure you leave open the drain point.
7. When the boiler pressure is 0 bar, the drain point stopped and the expansion vessel pressure is 1 bar, then it's done.
8. Remove the compressor.
9. Close the drain point.
10. Re-pressurise the heating system till 1 - 1.5 bar.
No ldf on the schrader valve?
Yes, you have to test to make sure is not letting by.
My expansion vessel label say precharge is 0,75 +0,2 bar can u help me the pre-charge expansion vessel pressure

U didn't close the flow and return valves
Yes, I didn't isolated because the boiler was on top floor the highes point of the heating system.
So if you had had to do that, is it the 2 black valves on opposite ends of boiler to isolate them?
