F2 Fault / Flame loss / How to replace gas valve on an Ideal Logic boiler step by step
This video is for GAS SAFE ENGINEERS only, always follow manufacturer instructions.
Before to start any work on gas appliance isolate the power, turn off the gas and the waters.
1. Remove front cover
2. Download manual
idealheating.c...
3. Isolate gas vlave.
4. Remove the clips.
5. Undo the nut.
6. Remove the screw.
7. Disconnect electrical connection.
8. Replace gas valve.
9. Reassemble in reverse order.

Nice video, easy to follow. Shame about the cross threaded screw at the end. ;) Always turn one turn counter clockwise until you feel the thread drop.

The screw fred was damadged, I replaced after video.

Did you modify gas flow in the new gas valve? Or just put in with fabric settings

I left the factory setting because after I replaced the valve I tested the working pressure and it was good.
