This has to be one of the best looking middle weights on the market today, and the sound is pretty great too, Ive been looking around the market but just keep coming back to this bike.
Same
Same, I'm getting one next week.
@@capper6100 Did you get it brother? how do you like it?
@@ericsalvador Unfortunately not, work came up that has me going abroad. With that and winter being here I'm not going to be able to ride until next mid-summer.
@@capper6100 same exact time I’m getting mine as well ahah
The tires with the white lettering match the rest of the bike perfectly
“Honda is pretty reliable” - Biggest understatement ever. Hondas are very hard to break 😎🏍
Nice! You can't go wrong with a Honda. I have my 2007 Hornet for the last 8 years. Never had an issue. Just regular maintenance and that's it.
I LOVE the headlight. I hate the insect looking front ends on most sport bikes.
That’s hilarious! I had the same thought but couldn’t verbalize it, 😂
Just adding my 2 cents on the clutchless shifting. It’s the only way I shift these days, and you can do it with pretty much any old bike. If it doesn’t shift, you probably aren’t shutting the throttle quick enough to shift. What you could do is imagine the action of a quick shifter. All a quick shifter does is detects the gear lever movement and essentially shuts the throttle for you, and it does that quick to successfully work. Hope that helps 😊
Heaps!! Thanks for the feedback!!
For my cb125r 2018 this works both on the upshift and downshift (it is a little odd on the downshift because you have to rev it a little and then let of the throttle to make it work) but everyone I’ve talked to says that it is not such a great idea for the gearbox health
@@TheSlenderman99what it can happen to the gearbox? I thought that was the right way to downshift! Im a new rider on a cb160f, and I still trying to downshift properly
Passed my CBT today and at the end they let me ride this bike just doing short laps of the course - was super easy to ride at low speed doing the manoeuvrers but what an incredible machine. Love it so much!
The headlight is one of the best looking parts of the bike
For those who want to try to change gear without the clutch, my advice is to place your foot LIGHTLY on the gear lever until you feel that it doesn't move anymore, at which point you leave the throttle, the gear will enter by itself and give some throttle to ensure the gear fully engaged.
For the first few times, I recommend keeping your foot very lightly on the gear lever, and then slowly increasing until you actually manage to change gear.
This method works both for upshifting and downshifting (when downshifting it's a bit more complex, you have to give a little throttle first, put your foot on the gear lever and then let go of the throttle), but I don't recommend doing it when downshifting, also when you upshift it's best to do it when accelerating at high revs.
I had an autoblip and a quickshifter inbuilt in my hand and legs
and you need to get back on throtle when upshifting pretty much striaght away to take load way from the engine braking i would assume at least thats what i found to work i could be wrong
@@marioalves7610 Yap, you are right
so it's sort of like driving a truck? You have to get it in the right rpm range and it will just shift on its own without using the clutch?
Excellent vdo! Wonderful. Just what I wanted to see in terms of performance and handling. Your comments and feedback are a great guide. And what can I say about the sound...Wow! Thank you!
Ahhh , the sound . And your funny commentary . 😂😂makes this a great POV . I'm rejuvenated with my love for bikes this month , Somehow I lost it 4 years back and sold my bike. It was a Yamaha R3.
And now I've been watching ride POVs , drove a royal enfield Interceptor this week due to a situation . And my love is back ! This CB650R looks damn sick !!!!
you were probably just got bored of the R3
I knew I recognised the roads. I've been riding around there for my accompanied rides!
Man, I love those headers on the CB600R's. So sick
Lollll I literally rode this bike today! Funny that you posted a vid about that bike now 😂
I like the headlight tbh. The whole bike looks pretty sick! Fun ride. Would love to see some urban exploration with friends and funny moments! Perhaps Groms?😂😂
All the Groms are gone 😭
I’ve got an UrbEx video on Patreon, more vids of UrbEx coming as well but just on Patreon for now :))
video quality very good, a hug from brazil
2:36what a nice sounds🔥
That clutchless upshifting was painful. The best way is, under heavy acceleration at higher RPM's, have your foot under the gear lever and apply a little pressure upwards as if you were upshifting, then just momentarily let off the gas (like you would do when shifting with a clutch) and it'll slip right in
the shifting part of the video I can give a bit of explanation, Its commonly known as "Bump Shifting" Doesn't hurt the gearbox unless you do it wrong by not applying enough pressure in the upshift its exactly like in a Race cars sequential gearbox your just slamming it into gear as the gears in the box mesh its not ideal but its fairly safe to do so you will wear your transmission out a little faster from doing so
Righhhht, good to know thanks for explaining further!!
Great video. Nice bike. Wondering how you reduce wind noise so well. Setting up for new motovlog and I’ve tried so many setups. Any advice?
I just bought a brand new cb, this bike is awesome bro !
I absolutely love my 23 Cb1000r! My favorite bike I have owned, she’s a torque monster!
hey, can I know what equipments do you have? (helmet, gloves etc) Thanks and really nice video!
I owned a CB650R for nearly 6 months now and it's still good, just need a little bit more torque and less weight is perfect 🔥
Couldn’t agree more, still great bike though!!
Bro, this build it's amazing..
What camera and mic setup do you use? These videos look amazing and there's no wind noise on the mic despite being able to hear the bike. Awesome stuff.
If you want a quick shifter, get a quick shifter. "Clutchless" is one of the best ways to bend a shift fork.
Just excellent! Thank's.
What microphone do you have and where do you keep it to avoid the sound of the wind? is the cb650r the 2023 last model?
Got mine 2 weeks ago, feels great. Stock exhaust sounds great aswell!
the new 2024 model?
No i bought the 2023 all black version. I think it looks way better than the 2024 models! Got it for 8800€.
Love from France, bé carreful on the road
i LOVE this bike
what microphone do you use? and where do you place it to avoid feeling the wind?
It's a cable throttle. Your wrist is directly attached to the throttle shaft, so the responce is instant. Always.
I bought this in UK, comes as 'Limited edition' came with a quick shifter, belly pan, and the seat cowl with a small metal plack that states 70/160. bike is amazing for a first larger bike!!
How much did you get it for?
I bought one too. Love all the black features. The rear seat cowl realy makes it sporty. Shame about the paint though. A small amount has come off the fuel tank, its only 8 months old.
Would love to know your gopro settings. The color and motion blur on this is so cinematic.
So clean 🥵🥵 Need to let you ride my WR450F!!
i love the round head light i haVE A HORNET ATM but looking at getting the cb650 or mt 07 or mt09
Absolute beauty, but how did your friend get it in all black like that? Stock comes with silver attachments.
My wife has the '23 CB650R and she loves it, great bike! I got the Rebel 1100 for more of a cruiser/naked hybrid and I love it. As a side note; it's really weird looking at the scenery here, being from the UK, the gray skies, industrial park, roads and signage look very similar to what I grew up with, but then you have palm trees!
Which would be a better option between them for maintaining higher speed (75mph) for no more than an hour semi regularly? I would assume the Rebel but is the 650 not too bad?
I live in the Portland area and if I’m planning to take it to the beach or the mountain it’s at least an hour either way. They both seem great for mountain driving, but I’m not sure which is better.
I suppose I should mention that I’m 6’2” and 200lbs.
@@jacobbaumgardner3406I would say that both are more than capable, it’s just a different experience. The rebel will be more torquey at all ranges available and more of a ‘cruiser-esque’ experience. But the rebel handles more in the vein of a naked bike than your traditional cruiser.
The CB (in my opinion) has more top end acceleration and is a slightly ‘sportier’ experience.
Make no mistake though, you’ll take a battering from the wind on both at those speeds, there’s nothing in the way of wind deflection 😂
@@AdamDallas much appreciated. So both are pretty stable ride wise at speed, then?
Where’s the best place you can recommend to get it fully tuned properly ?
Best looking CB650R so far 🤌
hey sir, what is ur go pro video settings? can u do new video abouth this? and do you using a lens?
isnt your feet very close to the exhaust? Any issues occured with that yet?
I like the sound
you & i live in the same city most of the time i know where your riding its weird cuz i dont see anyone from our state/city do vids like these.
also that dash is the same as my CBR 500R 2019 model nice n clean.
Ayyy thanks for the local support!! Hope to see ya around!!
@@frissonyt if you see a RED CBR 500R full fairing with Winged folded mirrors most likely will be me im towards the Ipswich region but NOT in Ipswich tho occasionally take the Ipswich motoway
New ones look so much nicer. BTW Acacia Ridge air strip !
which camera do you use for recording
What brand are those tyres? Love the white writing looks great
Nice ride congrats
What do you have to do to de-restrict them
Why no more vids pf this bike??? Really rewatched this too many times, the pov ride video is not as good as the sound is picking up a pitch, this is a great vid!
Beuatiful bike. I think I'll go for the 2021 model though because I'm not ready to splash that much money on a bike 😅
Which Frame Slider are this?
Is the writing on the wheel a tuning?
This type of bike is it a counter steer type bike?
which country is that? Australia?
Bro you live near me, Oxley. Where did you get your akro exhaust done at? I have the same bike.
hi mate, what about 1,65meters guys/woman, I'm kinda short, what you think is it fine for short ppl too? my dad always had Honda unfortunatly is not with us anymore so I wish to take an honda like he did at hes time
Still debating between this and the trident 660 not sure yet though
power reduced ECU ?
mate you need to do a lets ride on the zx-10r ;)
Whats the camera ?
What do you think, what will be the ideal height for this bike? i am 5.9 feet tall and will it be small bike for my height?
The ADHD-moments during commentary is gold 😄
I love the Sound. What have you one it 🎉
What kind of exhaust is that?
Cb650r looks good it's pretty quick 95hp and sounds amazing DONT SLEEP BIKES SICK MAN
Only ~83 hp on the 2023 version
@@NgPhucAn wha lol
@@NgPhucAnin AUS? Or in general?
@@simsoms General
@@NgPhucAn not possible - here in Europe they still got the 95hp
super cool
Nice sound
what's the brand of your gloves?
Was this out near acacia ridge/archer field area
How tall are you? I was told by 2 friends (both around 185cm) that the bike feels a little too small.
hey, do you painted your bike yourself?
Whats faster, this or mt07 ?
how did he purchase this all black version?
Yo what kind of gloves do you rock?
So, it's nice. Got it.
❤️
Is your front wheel leaving the ground, or are you leaning forward during the shifts? I’ve never had a bike this big, but I’m curious about it.
leaning forwards to negate the super intense drag factor when accelarating quickly
Do you think it fits for a 6'1ft tall male?
I like the sound of the CB 650r better than cbr 600rr . Bit deeper and it sounds just like a legends car
Love from Bangladesh ❤
So beautiful
Merci beaucoup..👍🇫🇷
I miss my CB650R, stolen a few months ago sadly
O tanto de vezes que fiquei iludido que ele iria dar um grau kkkk
Actually sound decent. I do prefer the sound of the parallel-twin cylinder with crossplane crankshaft from the MT07, but damn.
Been nothing but shit weather all week, really miss riding mine. Its a shame to see australia choking your bikes like that, this thing goes pretty hard for a 650
Facts. He’s going to get it derestricted and then I’ll ride it again 2.0 LR
@@frissonytso the bike was a2 restricted (35kw) during this video?
🔥🔥
Please link order adhesive wheels?
I can't find the black 650cc edition in the US. :(
I know what I want!
mph? kmh?
is that mph or km/h? Because if it's mph I'm shocked.
The only real con on these is the lack of a balance shaft. Sit on an R6 or Fazer 600 after riding this, start the engine, and see if you can tell the difference.
Not a big deal on a short ride, but after 6 hours you just want it to stop 😂
Mt 07 or Cb650r?
Can you show me how he had his qaudlock mounted? I'm having a really hard time to get mine in the perfect spot on my cb650r
Get as close to the middle of the handle bars as you can. I have mine set up so that when my phone is sideways its right under the speedo
Its called powershifting, you can also do this is a car
Must be a good friend to let you rag the shit out of his new bike. 🙇🏼♂️
