Can you do and updated video of using the tape ins and how you wash and style them? I recently chopped off my hair cause it was so damaged but I really miss my long hair, so starting over to get my hair healthy again! Did the extension damage your natural hair?
Wow! I’ve always wanted tape ins for my curly hair but the cost is insane! I didn’t know I could easily do them myself!! How long do you keep them in? And can you reuse them? Also my hair is real dark brown what color did you buy?
Hi love! I picked up the darkest shade in 22". My hair is a very deep brown, almost black so it worked perfectly for me. I have reused them, I just replace the tape when necessary and reapply them! I found it easiest to actually apply them when my hair was straight so I could see what I was doing more easily. It also helped me to use thinner sections of hair between the tape ins, so they stayed in longer :) Hope this helps xoxo
I used a out 2.5 bundles! But my hair is on the thin side, so I'd say it's better to have more than less. I took them out to film another hair video because I didn't want to straighten them. Will be putting them back in afterwards 😊
I noticed that your hair is really long when your hair is straight, do you ever wear clip in straight hair extensions? If so which ones because they look bombbbb
Hi! Your video helped me find these extensions because we have the same hair and color 😃 but they didn’t come with instructions. I am wondering about swimming, do you have any tips?
Hi! I never tried swimming with them, but I would imagine it should be okay. You should try contacting the seller for instructions though just in case :)
I also have natural curly hair.... the same color as yours I have wanted extentions for a very long time and this looks very easy to apply. How long do they last and can you reuse them? By the way your hair is beautiful!
do you know whether they measure the length with the hair strand pulled taut, or is it with it curled? Like is it longer than 22 inches when you stretch it out?
I believe they are measured to 22 inches when pulled straight. That's typically how all curly hair extensions are measured. They're still very long though.
Yes you can wash them and treat them as you would your natural hair. I put my usual curly hair products in and follow my same hair routine I normally would, and it has not changed the texture or curl pattern of the tape ins. The longer you go between washes, the longer they will last. But you can reuse them if they come out, just reapply fresh tape :) Hope this helps xo
Hi! Yes it is the natural wavy set😄 I have not tried styling them with heat yet, so I can't say for sure how they would react. The instructions only say to not apply heat when they are wet, but nothing about when they're dry. You could try contacting the company directly 😊
They didn't get frizzy! I left them in for about a month, but they would have lasted at least a couple more. I just like to change up my hair frequently 🙈 I can reuse them too when I want!
So wow okay I have the same hair pattern as you and pretty thin as well did they in anyway rip out your natural hair 🥵 my biggest fear and how can you remove them if SO?
You definitely have to be careful when you remove them! I used oil, but I would recommend buying a glue or tape dissolvent that is meant for taking out tape ins😊 when you take them out it may seem like you've lost more hair than normal, but that's because your hair naturally sheds daily, only it's staying in the tape and not coming out in the brush or shower.
@@AlyaAmsden your the only person on UA-cam that Ive ever seen who has my exact hair type and color... You said you used two wefts.... How many tape in pieces did that make in total that you used? I live in California if your ever visit here btw. Peace light and God bless. I hope I get an email from you. Would love to make friends.
They're brand new to me so I haven't had enough time to make an assessment on their longevity. I will be filming a future video on the topic though because I know it's a concern! For me so far so good, I haven't found any issues with them yet. Will keep you all updated ❤️
@@rachelekramer432 oh oops sorry! I was thinking this was on my most recent video ua-cam.com/video/wUtnLSTAZIE/v-deo.html If it's between tape-ins or clip-ins I'd say definitely go for clip-ins. Much less hassle.
Make sure you are using a very thin piece of hair in between the two tape ins! Otherwise they will not stick together and stay in :)
Beautiful hair! Do these extensions curl back if you straighten them?

This question & answer really helped me too. Curious, how do you take them out before reapplying/moving them up?
@@lt5993 I used coconut oil! But there is an actual remover you can buy that is supposed to work much better. I just didn't have it on me 😊
do u still use them?? they seem really awesome for the price just wanting to know an update and wow you only needed 2 bundles??

Yes I wear clip ins! They are from the brand Bellami and I wear the "Boo-gatti" set 💖
Omg I love it!
Where did you get extensions?

Hi! I never tried swimming with them, but I would imagine it should be okay. You should try contacting the seller for instructions though just in case :)
They look nice! What color are you using?
It's their "natural" shade - which is like an off-black color or very dark brown color☺️
I also have natural curly hair.... the same color as yours
I have wanted extentions for a very long time and this looks very easy to apply. How long do they last and can you reuse them?
By the way your hair is beautiful!
Yes you can reuse them! As long as you take good care of them, they should last awhile. Just be gentle when combing them etc 🤗
I did the tape ins for a long time but since my hair is so curly they would just get matted. I had to move on to the sew ins for my texture

Hello have you tried applauding beat to them yet and do you still recommend them?
Hi I still recommend them! I never tried applying heat
What is your opinion on this hair now?
how long do they last in your hair? can you wash them and put curly hair products on them and they come out the same as before?

can you straighten these extensions or will that ruin the curl pattern? Will it curl back up if you straighten and then wash
I never tried using heat on them. I would contact the seller on Amazon to see if it's safe 😊
Have you applied any other heat on these ? I’m looking to order these and wanna know if they are able to be straightened or take heat well. 😊
Also we’re these the natural wavy set ?(:

Alya Amsden thank you so much! Also thanks for the video. Been looking for curly tape ins forever :)

I heard that putting this kind of extensions make hair shades is that real??

Rubbing Alcohol takes it right out. Then you can reuse them.
How many inchs did you use love?
I got the longest option, I believe 22" 💗

Hey gorgeous! These look great, are they good quality? xx
Hi! I think they are! They're the only tape in brand I've ever tried, so I can't compare them to anything. I like them though! 🤗
