    Thank you for explaining the reasoning for the tape change, I had the stickiness problem the first time I ordered, but since you’re separated the tape from the hair right from the beginning, it’s been so amazing. A little extra work, but worth it.
    And I like that you include the tape with the extension. Some companies would charge extra, even though one won’t work without the other, so thank you for that!! Much love from PA!!!❤️❤️❤️

    Love this Jessi! I bought some of your extensions around Christmas and they are still going strong. I also picked up some of your rose hair oil and it is so luxurious 💕 I have recently been dealing with some scalp irritation where the tape ins lay on my head, I would normally spray some tea tree oil, but I know it’s not good for the adhesive quality. Do you have any tips for calming itching? Also do you have any tips on shampooing; how often, specific shampoos and how to properly get between tapes better? Love ya!

    Loving my youtube recommendations today! 😍
    That placement chart makes a big difference in blending, and they sure look like they're gonna be less visible like that. But I'm a bit worried about the weight of those angled ones. Won't they "pull" the hair unevenly when wet and cause discomfort and possibly even breakage? 😱

    I personally like my tapes on a angle starting from behind the ear - forward because I love to be able to pull my hair up daily and hide my tapes so I don’t have any pulling but i can totally see if someone never wears their hair up why they would want them at no angle & it’s easier to re install. Like you said to each their own ❤️

    I’ve had tapeins and NBR. I have fine hair. I found the NBR were easier to hide because the tape on tapeins seemed to show if the wind blew. Does your tape blend better??

    • @ariannasalmon3060
      @ariannasalmon3060 3 роки тому

      Does it ruin your hair ? Like your natural hair or mess with it

    • @jilllarge9449
      @jilllarge9449 3 роки тому

      Arianna Salmon - Are you asking if tape-in extensions or the NBR ruins your own natural hair? Any sort of extension clip in, tape-in, NBR, clicks, keratin tips, and etc will cause tension on your natural hair posing some damage. The key is finding the correct one for your hair and a hair stylist who specializes in that type of extension. I’ve tried tape-in, clip in, and NBR. The tape ins were a bit more rough on my hair then the NBR. Then again I live in Chattanooga, Tn, maybe I just didn’t research the right stylist - that being said I researched a lot. The NBR stylist I found is a level 3 stylist for NBR and is in Nashville. NBR used to put out a list of stylist and there certification level, for some reason they stopped doing that. Since I’ve had NBR may hair has grown longer and I’ve seen no tension marks or balding spots from the NBR. With the tape-ins, I had thinning spots- not sure if it was due to the tape or the method the stylist used. The NBR (natural beaded row), is basically the same method a “habit hand tied” or a new one called invisible beads row (or something close to that). It really is important to make sure which ever extension you chose it’s with a stylist proficient in that technique. NBR is what I have- I have 3 rows of hair. I think I pay $595 every 7 weeks to have them moved up, I usually leave a $130 tip (because I love my stylist) I get new hair every 6-8 months and that usually about $2000. I like that I can change colors, highlight, or darken every time I go. If I didn’t have a semi- permanent kind of extension- I would go with Halo Hair extensions. Look those up- when I get tired of these I’m going to that - those you take in and out daily and they cause NO DAMAGE!! They sit on the crown of your head with a thin invisible wire, but look great. I hope that helps.

      Place the wefts in 3 different claw clips (back, left and right) in backwards placement order. So for example last back weft to be placed on head would be the first weft placed in the clip. Leave them in the clip to wash/condition, comb out and hang to dry.

    Has anyone else started wearing extensions also just because you have also had problems having short and thin hair for a long time and not been able to get long and thick hair again which you don't have patience or not even have time to wait for some special reasons as me?
    How long can tape extensions be on hair, can it be used again several times on hair, how long can it last before it gets worn out, how many tape exensions do I need for short and thin hair when I want long and thick hair, how can I keep it on my hair without it falling off, does it feels natural like our own hair when we wear it, would tape attachment still be invisible on short and thin hair, can it make hair worn, how to blow-dry my hair and tape extensions without it being worn if the tape extensions have to be blow-dryed every time I wash both the tape extensions and my hair and are there any products other than just extra tape, remover and another shampoo and conditioner the tape extensions also needs?

    • @monikak8862
      @monikak8862 2 роки тому

      Best to go to a salon that specialises in this with all your questions.
      I’ll answer a few. They’re really easy to deal with if you’re gentle and care for your hair.
      They last 6-8 weeks in your hair. You will then need to get them removed, removing the old tape and stickiness then you can have them reapplied. You are able to get a good full year or more out of the one set. Especially if you have a break of a few weeks every now and then to let your hair relax.
      You should use sulphate free products, avoid oil and direct heat on the tapes in order not to melt them or let them loose their stick.
      For short hair 2 packs will be great to blend that in, that’s 40 pieces or 100g of hair. If you want extra fullness you can. But again depends on your hair and the magic the stylist can do with it.
      I think that covers enough ☺️

    Confused.
    Why did you start that high up her head?
    What about the bottom half?
    Did I miss something?

    You have to wash her hair and dry it before extensions with shampoo only....

    Had tape in hair at 20” looked amazing but upkeep drove me mad, washing was hard and that was 2 half years ago.
    I’m gonna get some again but going 12” this time as just want a tiny bit of length and volume. Problem is Iv just discovered nano rings, so I’m stuck on it. I know with tape inns it’s hard to put hair up with it. Especially with thine hair.

    I could not think of anything worse than having to put tape on a new set of extensions and I’ve never run into a problem with the ones that are pre taped but if you say so 🙃

    It would be awesome if she came out with her own hair tools.

      What length are the extensions? Since you are keeping her hair one length , so all extensions are same length? And if slightly layered are there gradual different lengths?How do you reapply in correct pattern so you are not cutting or blending too much each time?? Love them but this has been my issue, don't have many clients with extensions but want more. Thank you

    Going over tape in hair this many times with a flat iron WILL destroy the tape ins.
