I have the last generation Classic Jack 100. I use it every winter when I take my "tent camping" vacation. It's common to get rain 4 of the 8 days that I'm there. Dry before storage and treat the canvas every other year with 303 waterproofing, and it will last for a very long time. Enjoy the new family member. 👶
A heavy rain in Oregon soaked our Springbar. We were traveling, so we placed it loosely in the back of the SUV spread out as much as possible with the windows partly down for airflow. The air was damp and it took a long time to dry, still a little damp the next time we set it up. It was fine; still great after about 18 years.
I’ve always wanted a springbar! I have family members that live in SLC and camp with those and love them. Also I’ll never be mad about anyone hanging out in an aspen grove. My favorite and most magical place to be ✨
It's a big tent. I have the older model of it, in a light color. I love the green though. The windows are bigger in that newer one. Overall, the tent is a very spacious one and I was in it during a rainstorm and was completely dry inside. The pros for me are...easy to set up for one person and take down. Because its sturdy, I feel safe in it. The con's, they are pricier than most other tents and are heavier. But the pros outweigh the con's and if the tent wasn't heavier than most it would likely not be as good.
The color is very nice, but I’m a little claustrophobic so I will be going for the natural color. 😁. I need as much light as possible. I will also get a rainfly to keep the tent drier and cooler and to save the canvas from sun damage.
