@ChaniJapan I bet it was embarrassing, but you know what? Major props for not editing it out, huge hugs for the guts it took to keep it in and be upfront about it all.👍👍👍🇦🇺❤️
@@ChaniJapan guess i've fallen too many times to be embarrassed anymore😄😄😄i don't even jump up and pretend its not bad either. if it hurts i just lay there a while.
Just a suggestion, from back when I was in the scouts, you don't want the zippers meeting at the bottom cuz that allows bugs and critters to get into your tent (or in your case changing tent).
My country's government actually gave a negative advice about downloading the Temu app, because your data is severely at risk. The app does not only want access to your contacts, camera and wifi, but also requests permission to record audio and install software on its own. As companies like Temu are subject to Chinese law, the Chinese government can ask Temu to hand over all of the data they have collected about you, without you being able to do anything about it. For people who are working in government or in highly competitive business, it is advisable to not install the app.
Me and wife have binge watched all your videos up to the present, good clear videos ( hi def) and sound and your voice makes for very entertaining viewing, its refreshing to see just a normal person and her day life out in Japan thank you 🙂👍
Coming back to the camping experience... it was wonderful to see the camping activities. The bamboo rice was amazing. Hi Chani, How cool your camping trips. Rice cooking in the bamboo looks awesome. And the bubbles at night time is even cooler. I'll say my favorite is bubbles at night. Thanks, Chani and Millie.
yes they were beautiful. i was thinking how there would never be an event like that with kids in california with all the lit candles. amazing how none of the Japanese kids burned themselves or started a fire.

Truly love seeing the camping experience. The mesh platform for the fire was interesting but smart to avoid fires and damage to the campgrounds. The pop up tents and toilets are things I haven’t seen before. Camping seems very different there. Where I live, it’s more backpacking style camping and can’t bring such items with you. You have to carry it all on your back to the site. So it’s fun to see a different approach. ❤
Gosh I hope you are ok. That did not sound great ❤❤. I might be biased but I loved Millie’s new pen. That gives her better viewing in a safe environment - you are the best cat mum ever 👍

My husband and I found your videos a few days ago and we can’t stop watching!! Lol. Awesome content. Can’t wait to see what else you get up to!! Hope you have a lovely holiday this December
Hope you are ok Chani. I was thinking perhaps you can get some sides for your awning to make it a room in cooler weather. Or a car tent for the back. Just a thought of how ti get a bit more space. Another suggestion is a fireproof mat for under the fire pit to collect the ash and prevent an accidental grass fire 😊. Safety first. Milly looked much happier in her new outdoor space. The bubbles would have mesmerised me as well.
I love love loved this video. My favorite pick out of your Temu list was the portable fire pit! I'd probably secure it with rocks, but it's very cool in areas where fire pits are prohibited. The Bubble Festival looked so amazing! Hope your wrist is feeling better. Cat & Camper are adorable!
Thank you for the video. I enjoyed watching it and was also mesmerized by the bubbles. I hope that your wrist is fully recovered. All of the products look great!
Wow, that is an amazing campsite! I love the magnetic clips, I'll be getting some of those. The solar lights are brighter than I thought they would be. The stand-up firepit is a great idea. Love your videos!
That looked amazing and fun (except hurting your wrist, hope that heals up nicely.) My favorite items would be the privacy tent and portable tiolet. Very practical game changers which enables you to camp anywhere.
Barbara O'Neill's book and first aid advice. Be well. Those large bubbles were so pretty. So interesting. The mesh grid for cooking is such an interesting idea.
WOW Tume sponsored that is great! All of the things are wonderful. I just don't even know which one I like the best. We have an r v in Florida. So when I go to order my big huge purchase for the farm, I will for sure order some camping items. I will definitely be ordering some kitchen gadgets as well. I'm sorry you hurt your wrist🙏 i mentioned on one of your other camping videos I like shakukkah. You can make the recipe in advance. Along with some bread. Then I just heat it up in the fry pan and poach the eggs where ever home camp office😂
Love the cat pen! Never seen one here in the UK. Such a brilliant idea. Hey kitty kitty, what a lucky girl you are. PS: loving your blogs and binge watching to catch up! ❤
I’m not much of a camper maybe more glamper …but you make me want to give it a go. My favorite item is that sweet potato 🍠 and foil. Nothing comforts a stumble and bruised ego like a hot sweet potato. Gorgeous festival!!!
When you first showed that fire pit , I thought it was a chair you were putting together and misspoke. But its cool to see come together and work. Ive not ever seen a firepit like that.

Hope your wrist is better out of all the products you bought ilike your changing tent the most followed by your fire pit. I ❤ your videos, keep it coming
The waterfall lights looked so pretty! ✨️ I bought a light up 'birch tree' off a similar app to Temu this year for our Christmas as it changes colour and reminds us of the blue light up zelkova trees in Tokyo that we witnessed last December 💙 The bubbles looked amazing but must have been very slippery ground!
I'm really enjoying watching your adventures. It's lovely to see a genuine everyday experience of Japan. I wanted to go there to live when I was in my twenties as I studied Akijutsu and planned to train there. This was 1984 and opportunities here in the UK were very limited at the time. But then I had a serious road accident which left me unable to continue my training so I had to give up that dream but I'm still very interested in the culture. I'm also still a camper although it's quite difficult with my disability but I enjoy it andam planning to take my new dog with me next summer. ❤
@@ChaniJapan Yes, he's two. I lost both my cats very suddenly, one to cancer (17) and the other (12) to a sudden severe liver problem just a few months apart. After saying I'd like to get dog when I was ready my brother introduced me to Pablo and I fell in love with him. I'm 68 so he definitely keeps me busy and he's an absolute joy to have around. ❤
Thank you for another entertaining and informative post. I found the elevated fire pit really interesting. I noticed that you’d made a wind protector for your cooking station. I had one that folded and it was very useful.
Oh my .. that looked like such a fun stay ( without the injury) … My introduction to Japanese sweet potato was back on an extremely cold winters day in 1990. We came upon a sweet potato seller with the huge wood fried stove. That was so very very tasty as we were cold and famished. We look for at least one snack every time we are over there.. Your potato looked amazing, I can almost taste it🤣🤪 Cheers💕

Loved your Yuru Camp bag because I am addicted to that tv series. I pore over their camping gear, some of which I have seen with other camping youtubers. If it weren't so difficult (and expensive) I'd get a lot of stuff from SnowPeak - they should sponsor you! 😉 Loved to see the shower-, toilet-, changing- tent in action, same as the fold-up toilet bucket because so far I had no clue how that worked. But everything was great, the waterfall lights, the strong magnet, the firepit. Though, with the last, aren't you worried about wind gusts carrying away sparks, setting things on fire? Best things really the community things like rice cooking in bamboo and the bubble man. Hope your wrist is soon as good as new! Never mind it being embarrassing - as long as you and Millie are healthy! Great content, thank you!
Looks like so much fun. With all the great events happening, I imagine you must have booked your camping reservation very early. Congratulations--I see your channel has really grown!
Actually it was a last minute booking. This is actually a road station where you can free camp. I was able to book a space up on the area they were doing the bamboo. I didn’t know about the events until the manager told me. I got really lucky 😃❤️
It's so lovely to see you back, you've been missed😂. I had a really bad time mentally a few years ago and I found EFT tapping was brilliant! I don't even believe in things like that but it worked so please please try it if you haven't! Lots of lovxxxx❤
A very entertaining camping ground. Looked amazing! I used to preach about Temu ethics and gave in and purchased from them myself. Its addictive and exactly how they want it to be. I deleted the app after a while though. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
Hi, Chani! Another great video ❤ Loved the waterfall lights, magnetic clips, and all your new fashion choices 😊 but my favorite part was the Millie close-up at the end 😻😸 Oh, and the bubbles...and the bamboo rice...and the... 😉 Lol I guess I loved all the parts 😁🤗❤️ (except the part about your wrist 😢...glad it's doing better by now ❤) xoxo Robin
I figured out a system with these pop up things. Because I have similar items I use at school. The trick is to fold and twist at the same time. Always works.
from what i have seen. when it comes to asian sizes its a good idea to size up a size or two. my friend had to do that she found a nice hoodie for her boyfriend and did size up but it was still too small. i had to use google when i was looking for shoes cause im american so we use different sizes like size 8 compared to like 50cm or something like that
That campsite looks great and having that cafe there is so nice. One thing that you might consider is using kitty litter instead of the coagulant, I know some van campers that use that without even having a cat, but it might be a benefit for both you and Millie. Looks like you've got the awning setup down really well!
I think the changing tent is great but also the solar lights. I’ve never ordered from Temu but I’d consider it now. It’s really great that more sponsors are reaching out to you. One question. Did you worry about leaving Millie alone when you went to the bakery or the night events? I know that Japan is a safe country.
She loves being in the van. Cats love small spaces 😽 So I lock her in there. It was cold but I had lots of blankets there for her. She did a lot of people and bird watching from the windows.
Nice vid featuring tbe michi no eki Shikinosato-koen. Looks really nice. I'm glad you found a sponsor. From what I've heard about quality, I have misgivings about Temu goods and the environmental consequences. How did the fire pit hold up? How many uses do you think the mesh will last? That was the one object that seemed the most interesting to me.
I loved the video, your trendy clothing looked amazing, the standup change room is a great idea , I love everything Temu but I've never had the app , I will download it now , my daughter recently ordered some 3/4 pants for me and they fit really well, Temu is addictive 😅 I love the whole camping thing you do and that festival was like no other I was mesmerised especially the bamboo lights !!
Happy to see another video, always look forward to them. However, please don't promote Temu. Temu is ruining local economies, does so much harm to the environment and to human rights. Not saying this to be mean or anything❤, just a bit worried and sad about the whole "Temu hype".
Gazing up at hugh glimmering bubbles floating magically across the dark sky can be a bit disorienting as you unfortunately found out. Hope your wrist gets better. My fav of all your camping gear is the metal mesh firepit👍. And your cat is adorable.
Loving the content chani, I would love to be able to do this, I am a retired american in the philippines, going to be 50 in a few months and would really love to move to japan and fix up a house, (I was in construction) and enjoy the culture. I am trying to learn japanese, but my memory isn't great. Still trying though. Would love to open up a little grilling joint there, making burgers and such. Anyway, keep up the vids...milly looks cute, got a white persian myself, named shiro :) cheers.

Actually it was a last minute booking. This is actually a road station where you can free camp. I was able to book a space up on the area they were doing the bamboo. I didn’t know about the events until the manager told me. I got really lucky 😃❤️
Chani, your last video really blew up! Congrats!
It sure did. Such a surprise. Just going about my day, then 🔥 suddenly everyone likes winter hacks.
That looked like an excellent camping trip. Really enjoyed watching while I had my breakfast. I hope the wrist heals well. X
Thanks so much❤️
I have two favorites, the lantern and the magnetic clips.
@@bonniemillerart1814 they were both so useful. Really practical for camping 🏕️
Glad you liked the campsite! 😊
@@RKusmie64 👋hi Robin. Thanks for the kind message ❤️
Odaijini😊 We enjoyed the video very much ❤thanks for sharing your adventure ❤️🎉
Glad you enjoyed it ❤️
We were talking about your videos and we realised your videos are like story book! That's why its so calming, fun and happy 😊 You are so talented 💝
I think the favorite thing from the TEMU list is the black cat sticker at the very beginning!
I stuck it on the back window of my car
I have one of those pop up change tents but I don't really use it very often because holy heck it is difficult to pack back into the bag!
I figured out a system with these pop up things. Because I have similar items I use at school. The trick is to fold and twist at the same time. Always works.
from what i have seen. when it comes to asian sizes its a good idea to size up a size or two. my friend had to do that she found a nice hoodie for her boyfriend and did size up but it was still too small. i had to use google when i was looking for shoes cause im american so we use different sizes like size 8 compared to like 50cm or something like that
Am loving your adventures - from Auckland NZ
The fire pit looks resolutional❤
It’s the best 🔥
That campsite looks great and having that cafe there is so nice. One thing that you might consider is using kitty litter instead of the coagulant, I know some van campers that use that without even having a cat, but it might be a benefit for both you and Millie. Looks like you've got the awning setup down really well!
@@jamesbarantor7094 good idea. I didn’t think about that.
@@jamesbarantor7094 good idea to use the kitty litter. I didn’t think about that.
Really enjoyed this video, hope your wrist is feeling better. Give Millie a big cuddle 🥰
Thank you, I will ❤️
Please be careful with Temu there is alot of issues with a high level of lead, so please be careful
The fire pit was going all day. It’s made of stainless steel mesh. At the end I gave it a wash and it was as good as new.
Thank you so much!!
Happy to see another video, always look forward to them. However, please don't promote Temu. Temu is ruining local economies, does so much harm to the environment and to human rights. Not saying this to be mean or anything❤, just a bit worried and sad about the whole "Temu hype".
Camping is not my thing. But looks fun nonetheless. 😊
Curious. Can you just turn up? Or do you need to book a spot?
You can turn up here (it’s free in the Carpark camping) but if you want a grass site you have to book.
@ nice. Thanks. Looked like a nice place to visit. Especially with kids. Who doesn’t like gigantic bubbles 🫧😊
Gazing up at hugh glimmering bubbles floating magically across the dark sky can be a bit disorienting as you unfortunately found out. Hope your wrist gets better. My fav of all your camping gear is the metal mesh firepit👍. And your cat is adorable.
Thanks, the fire pit is my favorite too!
Very nice video
I'm glad you liked it! 😊
Love this video. You looked like you had so much fun. 😍😍 hope u didn't damage your hand/wrist/arm.🙈
It’s almost better now. Just was a bit embarrassing 😅😬
That's a great dream - I hope it comes true for you! I’d love a good hamburger if you opened a grilling joint!
I wonder how well the sweet potato would cook in the bamboo pit?
I reckon it would cook great there 😃
@@ChaniJapan so I was most impressed by the fire on a stand - looks like a camp stool repurposed with the indestructible mesh
I really like the elevated fire pit, I have not heard of such a thing. Is there a weight limit of how much wood you can load?
It’s not that big in size so I think the load wouldn’t be much. Perfect for warming up and baked potatoes. 🔥🏕️
❤❤❤ very nice.
Thank you! 😊
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
can you link the camping spot website?? that bakery looks stunning, i want to visit on my next trip to japan!!

Agreed. It was my fav 🔥🔥🔥
I love your Yuru Camp bag ^^ I just finished the 3rd season yesterday. Did you watch the anime?
