"OK,that's it. ....maybe just this one" LOL! Can i give a word of appreciation to whoever does the filming. he has a steady hand , and always seems to be in just the right place.
It’s true! “Give a bloke a pair of secateurs and you may as well have given him a chainsaw”. So says the missus…and thank you for showing the veronicastrum after the Chelsea chop, can go ahead with mine with confidence now…not that I doubted you.
Think that applies to us female gardeners too ....snip happy ! 😊
John your too funny, never fail to make me smile. One cut, well one more, well maybe this, and oh that one 😂🤣😂. Thanks for making my morning brighter 👍❤️😊
This man was my go to in the pandemic, really got me into gardening
Oh John you are absolutely brilliant !! Love you 😍. I hear your voice in my head when I am gardening and you give me inspiration and give me confidence ‘That has to go’ ‘that needs moving’ 😂👍
Hellooooh John! Ursula here - my husband and I visited your garden center in July. We were visiting from Austin, Texas and en route to the north of Ireland. We enjoyed a meal at the cafe, walked the garden center and took pics with you and your lovely wife! You were beyond welcoming and generous with your time . I only wish I could have bought some plants back to sizzling Texas with me. Your love of plants shines through in your videos & I will continue to view them. Cheers to you and your secret garden in Rathoat, Co Meath.
The Birch's haircut!!
So GREAT!!!
Reminded me of when my son was young and I kept trying to cut his hair around that circular cowlick he had!!
LOVE your vids John,
they've been a regular for me for a while now,
I wouldn't miss them for nothin! 💚🌿💚
Lol, half way through "Thats done now" I laughed out loud at the end clip ! Brilliant as always John :)
I knew you couldn’t resist cutting back those branches John! But looks so much better allowing surrounding plants to be seen as well as giving better balance to the scene.
Brilliant! Just kept on snipping away😁 I always end up doing the same, just one more branch!
thank you john for bringing joy to us gardeners.
After spending the morning working in my own yard, it’s a pleasure to put my feet up for awhile and watch you sweat it out.
A bit more, and a bit more!❤️❤️❤️
Here in the deep south of the US pretty much no flowers in bloom. Just too hot & dry. Love to see your garden.
Hello Mr Lord and David! Thanks for the information, love the videos. 🏴
I'm screaming at the screen "No John ! Stop rubbing your eyes ! 😁
Learned so much about trees shrubs and other plants. Thank you 🙏 JL.
I enjoyed watching you prune the Weeping Birch. When I have pruned the hanging down branches on a tree it takes me forever and I agree that the Beatle look is not good for trees. Thanks for another top quality video.💚
Oh I love the sanguisorba Hakusanensis. I bought the s. menziesii after I saw it In one of your videos John, it flowered really early and looked amazing so next year should be a picture x
John, I adore watching your videos. Sometimes you really make me laugh, especially today with the tree pruning. That's the sort of thing I do.Start as a little job and then gradually it gets more and more! No one knows how bonkers I am but you show it all.Love it.😊
Hi john your ace love watching you no fuss just practical gardening Sheila Chester
The Mad Gardener! Yes sometimes you just have to move something, no way around it.
Love watching your vids. Gives me a lot of guidance which I appreciate. I’ve learnt a lot and will continue too forever more. Knowledge is power 💁🏻♀️😆
Oh I like the way you prune😜
Wonderful selection of shrubs, you will never find shrubs like these in our retail nurseries in South Africa,
Can I just have your clean up crew? I love the garden and prune just like you do but hate dragging all the branches when I am finished. 🤪
I’m done, no one more, just one more! I have to finish! Looks fabulous 🌼🐝
Liz is right! You are brilliant in knowledge and personality ❤️ hello from Oklahoma..I just subscribed.
Hi from Alice from belfast 😊 really enjoying your channel.
Thanks again for bringing a smile to my face. I needed it. You are the best.
From Wisconsin, USA.
I love your videos - I always learn from them, and John always makes me laugh. (I just ordered two plants John recommended - we'll see how they work here in snowy Canada!) Thank you so much for the videos!
I love John Lord
Love watching this garden channel! So informative and beautiful gardens.
John, Thanks for all the tips.Would you do a video on the pruning and reshaping of mature weeping varieties of Acer.
Beautiful blooming 👌
I tried cutting back my Veronica and love the results.
Hi John your garden is beautiful was wondering if you fertilize your plants at any point during the year?
Wish I could give 100 likes !! Love your videos, so informative. Thank you !
You can grow one of two things. Either you can just grow trees... or you can grow everything else!
It's Father Ted's car all over again.....
I really enjoy your videos, even if I live in a mediterranean climate, and can't grow 95% of the plants you grow. Just a suggestion: please wear eye protection, especially when you're working with plants like the birch which record after every cut. It is a safeguard for yourself and would be a good exsmple for your viewers.
Mr Cameraman, back up when JohnLord starts going at those bigger plants...please 🥺
the camera filming & lighting is so annoying on this video today, keeps switching from orangy to cool colour. Is it the same person that normally films your videos?
