When are we going to start holding these types of prosecutors accountable...ACTUALLY accountable??? Prosecutors who deliberately withhold exculpatory evidence are committing MURDER and should spend life in prison for such a crime

The entire concept of immunity for any government employee who screws up on the job or willfully violates the rights of others must be stopped. Even willful acts of corruption on the part of government employees escape prosecution on legal grounds which amount to little more than get out of jail free cards for the offenders. The SCOTUS has even weighed in to make it much harder to prove bribery and other forms of corruption by politicians and bureaucrats.
According to the SCOTUS, it is now OK for a politician to accept an expensive watch or vacation from someone as long as there is no provable quid pro quo. That makes it almost impossible to prove bribery. It also make laws which ban the receipt of gifts by politicians and bureaucrats from those with a conflict of interest to be all but unenforceable. It really is time to reverse such SCOTUS decisions, pass new and even stricter laws on conflicts of interest and gifts to politicians and bureaucrats. It is also time to hold malicious prosecutors and corrupt judges accountable for their crimes.
The only way We The People can force change to favor accountability of government officials who falsely prosecute innocent victims is by getting involved in the entire political process.

I'm a Democrat, but not a sheep Democrat. I heard about Kamala Harris withholding information during an appeals process for a death row inmate (which I don't think CA actually executes in recent decades, but they're kept in near solitary confinement condition nonetheless). I didn't really look into it, but I believe the news I get from Secular Talk's Kyle Kulinski way more than most mainstream media. This wasn't a deterrent for me to vote for Joe Biden, because I didn't want him anyway- I wrote in Bernie Sanders. But, imagine now, all these power hungry prosecutors who feel that need to succeed so greatly they withhold information and there are innocent people in prison or death row due to greed. It's maddening.

If it wasn't so we wouldn't be in every commercial, every movie and every song and we wouldn't be able to say that blacks can't be racist on national tv and that only black lives matter. All lives matter. Personally as a black man( mixed) I don't agree with a lot of things brain washed black ppl claim. Stop blaming today's white ppl for all your issues. Many of you is broke cause y'all refuse to take advantage of free schooling and use your welfare checks to get on your feet while you in school. I chose to make it and left my hood, because hard work pais off if u doing the right steps. Most white ppl ain't even fully white and many white ones ain't at all related to the anglo-sexxon roots the slave owners was. Stop feeding the racial hate the media is fueling. They want us fighting. It's called divide and conquer. I'm black and proud to be so,but I'm also white, Jewish and also proud of it. Stop the racial tensions, black ppl can be and many are inherently racist not just to whites but to Asians,Hispanics and Arabs. Let's come together people of all colors and creeds And fight this tyranny and lies they uleashing on us. I feel sorry for those cows/horses too, far more than a rapist/murderer who did not care-who Fought to torture their victims. Sometimes I think people have lost their minds in this weird self-righteous enabling abuse mentality. They should bring back the firing squad that seems far more painless & honest. Or make them go through whatever they inflicted upon someone else. It never ceases to amaze me when like, killers complain about jail & try to get out, and then people go on about no death penalty because they cant deal.
Though putting someone to death should only occur for mass/repeat violent crimes. This country is insane, we elect serial sexual assualters to the highest courts while shitting on their victims, we jail non-violent drug users for decades, we allow DAs to hide evidence to win, we support police shooting innocent people in their homes. So many things are backwards.

DNA isn't enough to prove without a doubt what happened. Have you seen the movie crush? This teenager sneaks into this guy's house, finds a used condom and puts the semen in her vagina. Then punches herself. Then says she was raped. They do a test kit and yeah it comes back as his DNA. You can't tell me there isn't crazy people out there that wouldn't do that. Hell, I saw a real life woman actually punch herself and claim her husband did it. She went to jail for falsifying evidence/lying. Also, video evidence is now at risk of being tainted. All this new technology such as "deep fakes" can change the face of the person on camera. Is killing 100 guilty people worth also killing 1 innocent person to you?! Because I'd rather put everyone on life and that way there's still a chance for wrongfully charged to be be sent free.

Our Constitution says, Forbids cruel and unusual punishment. So for these prisons having guards and untrained medical staff who don't even know how to stick a vein or even know if it's in a vein, and know how much medicine is needed to do this task is insane. Once again the system has failed because nobody gives a shit based on the crime the prisoners have done and by that taken away the prisoners constitutional rights to die of cruel and unusual punishment. There's a reason why we have the constitution and it's sad that our justice system no longer uses it.

Three inmates, a German, a Frenchman and a Pole, are sent to their deaths on the same day.
The law of the land grants them the right to choose between three execution methods; hanging, the guillotine or electric chair.
The German goes first and being a citizen of such a technologically advanced country he decides to die in the electric chair.
They strap him to the chair and the executioner cranks the switch once but nothing happens, second time nothing, third time zero electricity. Now, the law dictates that if the condemned man doesn't get killed by the third attempt he then must immediately be released so they let the German go. When he walks by the Frenchman he whispers "the electric chair doesn't work"
When the Frenchman is given a choice on how to die he declares that hanging is too primitive and the guillotine too bloody besides he wouldn't want to part with his head. For these reasons his choice is the electric chair which again fails in it's function of killing the condemned that is strapped to it. They have to let him go just like the German and when he walks past the Pole he whispers "the electric chair doesn't work"
Then the turn comes for the Pole to choose a way to die and he goes "well, the guillotine is too bloody and I want to keep my head attached to my body, the electric chair doesn't work..."

      Edit
Wrongful execution is a miscarriage of justice occurring when an innocent person is put to death by capital punishment. Cases of wrongful execution are cited as an argument by opponents of capital punishment, while proponents suggest that the argument of innocence concerns the credibility of the justice system as a whole and does not solely undermine the use of death penalty.[1][2]
A variety of individuals are claimed to have been innocent victims of the death penalty.[3][4] Newly available DNA evidence has allowed the exoneration and release of more than 20 death row inmates since 1992 in the United States,[5] but DNA evidence is available in only a fraction of capital cases. Others have been released on the basis of weak cases against them, sometimes involving prosecutorial misconduct; resulting in acquittal at retrial, charges dropped, or innocence-based pardons. The Death Penalty Information Center (U.S.) has published a list of 10 inmates "executed but possibly innocent".[6]

I wonder if our soul still thinks when we die, I fear being buried while thinking, "they are washing my body, they are making fun of my dead body, I can feel being low ard into the grave, I can hear the dirt hit my coffin, I can hear a digger cover the hole" scary

    • @angelicazambrano

I remember reading a history book about the early day burials, they kept a rope with a bell on it so that if you wake within the 72 hours of burial you will be able to ring a bell, can you imagine waking up in the grave and ring the bell? How quick could they dig you up? I am sure we all would panic, to what end though?

I watched a documentary where they showed the effects of argon gas on pigs - they literally just went instantly to sleep and died with no gasping or convulsions etc. It looked very humane. The current injection method seems unnecessarily complicated in comparison. Having said that, after a lifetime of not even getting a parking ticket, I was arrested for something I was completely innocent of when my then wife and her boyfriend wanted me out of the way so they could sell our house etc. My faith in the system was shattered when on no evidence whatsoever except a malicious lie, the police simply could not admit they'd made a mistake by listening to 2 *known* liars and tried to prosecute me. It made me realise how dangerous it would be to have a death penalty when you can be entirely innocent yet police will not simply accept that when it's obvious (presumably they would feel it was "backing down" or something stupid like that to just admit a person is innocent after they've arrested them) despite confidence whatsoever of an offence. OK it wasn't murder, and in the end the police had to release me, but it shows the danger and the mindset of some police officers- It's scary enough knowing this now even without a death penalty here.

@@CITUAS The European union has more inhabitants than the USA and especially in the Eastern parts, crime is wayy worse than in the US. In the east we have problems with human trafficking, sex trafficking and drug trafficking on an extraordinary level. Still, we overall have a lower crime rate, also in countries like Poland that have a much smaller average income than the US. This is because our judiciary system is designed to teach people not to do crimes again, while the one in the US is designed to lead people to commiting crimes again,
because the prisons make their money through that while in Europe, every prison belongs to the state.
