russian government used money from so called national wellfare fund to close budget deficiencies. all this 3 years of war. wellfare fund was a huge amount of gold, dollars and yuan, russia could use even under sanctions. now this fund is depleted - only 3 billion roubles left, its only 3mln usd. soon pootin will have to print alot of roubles to pay salaries and pensions which means venezuella levelof inflation.
The country is totally screwed in the long term. Even if they quit the war and went home rn, they are cooked. I feel so bad for the Russian people.

This war is a disaster for Russia, by all accounts, Russia should have beaten Ukraine by now, should have beaten Ukraine in a conventional war in 2022, Russia has a GDP 10X that of Ukraine , 10X teh fire power compared to the Ukrainian army, 4X the population, by all calculations Ukraine should have been beaten but for Ukraine to not only stalemate the Russians but inflict horrendous losses to the Russian army not seen since WW2, destroy Russian prestige and for Ukraine to actuallly invade Russia and take an area the size of Los Angeles in a week. and Ukraine is being used as the perfect place to destroy Russian power by the west, without much cost in lives to NATO.
The oligarchs are also maneuvering to be in the right place when Putin falls. Heck just look at the Shoigu/Russian military/GRU fight with Patrushev/FSB/Rosgvardia .

Your conclusion for the end of the video was good but few points
1. US economic growth boomed just as well, though not to the same extent as Russia's, just after the war started (*cough* war economy *cough*)
2. What you said about anything which doesn't contribute to the war economy being pushed to the side is not really apparent. Teacher salaries and pensions were raised multiple times already.
3. There are a lot of foreign combatants being recruited from non west aligned countries.
4. Russia had no debt before the start of the war
5.Countries which aren't as aligned with the west don't pay much heed to sancions.
6. If the conclusion of the conflict is anything other than total Ukrainian victory, which is almost impossible, nations will care even less about western sanctions
7. Russia and China have already ditched the dollar in bilateral relations
8. BRICS, which is essentially an anti western pact is expanding and if Turkey joins as they are attempting to do, Eastern and South Eastern European countries will very likely follow suit. Namely Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary.
9. If Russia wins or the conflict ends in a stalemate we could see the creation of a Russia-China centered IMF which could end up being more worthwhile to poorer nations than the IMF currently is
