My 2015 Tata Bolt 1.2l 4cyl turbo charged stock drives better than this soo called premium hatchback. I mean why tata gives a underpowered 3cyl engine when they already have a smooth refined and powerful engine since 2014 producing 90ps and 140nm torque also gives mileage around 10-14 in city and 16-18 on highway if driven smoothly which is similar to what tiago,punch and altroz give as far as I know!!!

That 1.2 4cyl turbo revotron bs4 is not bs6 compatible, that's why.
@@inpursuitofhappiness366 i read somewhere long time ago in tata official report, they said that 1.2 4cyl from zest is not bs6 compatible, that's why the bring the new 1.2 3cyl revotron. Nonetheless all of this is now sorted. Check out the bs6 phase 2 revotron, they have made a major update, it is now refined and it makes 88hp with 115nm, source website, while the nexon will be coming with new 1.2 3cyl tgdi of tata.
I wonder if it has anything to do with CAFE rules, for a car weighing 1.2 ton, the cylinder capacity has to go down to meet the emission standards (130g of carbon emitted per kilogram of body weight) .. otherwise, follow Suzuki ka dimag to reduce body weight and keep the 4 cylinders..
Every manufacturer with heavy cars have turned to 3 cylinder engines (vw-skoda, nissan-renault, hyundai-kia..) except Suzuki who's been cutting weight and Toyota who's been reselling the Suzuki cars..
Vro ek concern hota hai weight to performance ratio with milage, 10 lakh se andar India mein car mil rahi pehele toh jaake company ka pair dabao , cause they are targeting the two wheeler riders to convert into a four wheeler owner so uss prize me agar safety denge unlike maruti toh fir 3 cylinder engine dena padega for better milage 4 cylinder engines are less efficient than 3 cyl, 4 cyl means 4 combustion valves
