You can make each part a seperate group and apply plugin one by one.. That way it easily bends shapes..
Why when you can just bend the whole thing along the path? Seems like a lot of extra work...
My laptop can not bend some heavy geometry, i tried the way i said and it worked nice.. More than one source group, one straight line and one target line.. You don't have to draw the lines individually, it bends correctly..

I HAVE A VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION WHEN I USE SHAPE BENDER, IT HAS A STRAIGHT LINE. IT DOESN'T SHAPE THE LINE I MADE OR IT IS REVERSE.
Do you have a tutorial for making the iron fancy part??? The part in the center of the railing?
No - I just downloaded it from the 3D Warehouse. That said, it's just a question of importing an image of the railing you'd like to create, tracing it using lines and arcs, then extruding it with Push/Pull
great tutorial, but I just keep getting the red axis error every time I'm choosing the straight line! and I did everything according to your video, any help? could it be about the axis setup? also note that my Sketchup version is 2018

try to copy your component to 100% new file, create your shape there, and then copy it back to old model. It works for me..
But if I want to unbend the curve back to straight? What tool or what should I do ?

Every time I try this it just makes the object into a V shape. I was trying to make a wall almost circular. Using Sketchup Pro 2021. I even tried just a plain wall with nothing else and still just a V shape
Is it better shape bender or flowify?
Really depends on the application - I wouldn't say either is "better," just different
I have a query that if your target line is bigger than the base line the rail is going to stretch which i don't want what is the solution for that ??
Model your rail so it's the length of the target line?
Why am i not getting the preview of the item bending after i click at the curve line? also, my sketchup didn't load or else after i click at the curve for the bending the object.
