That sucks for them. Better off for you in the end. I have a guy in my area, bashing prices. Not registered with the water dept, no insuarance and cash only. Of course, we all can be cheap when we dont pay taxes and fees to do business.

Its companies like that, that get the county and city contracts as well. I had that happen to me. It just makes me go and grind harder and figure out another way to get that $5k. Also!!! Mike, I was driving from Charlotte NC back home to Florida and I was like oh snap we are outside Savannah. I wonder how far All American is from here. I was really contemplating on stopping and saying hey. I did want to get ahold of you and run a couple things by you for a $243k contract I have been working on. Now that your a famous UA-cam star I wasn't sure if I would get you or your secretary. 🤪

I totally agree with you Mike. every day here in Australia my competition always undercuts its bull shit. I can say i am not doing work for nothing. i run my business profitable.
i always say to the customer if you are not happy with my price i am not the right person for you. that's how it is. i am not dealing with dick heads any more.

Oh hell no! I do a resort that has to be sanitized after the 4th of July and I charge about $3000 per breezeway for 6 breezeways, and that's not even exceptionally high for my area. I don't think the builder or the competitor will be happy with the results afterward .

unfortunately, I have gotten to a point where if I know I have to bid against two others in that (3) bid war, I just throw out a number because there is always that one who will underbid no matter what. ruins the market

I quoted 2 places like this, one for 28k and 1 for 17k. The one for 28k i found out someone else quoted 12.5k. 20 3 story buildings exterior and breezeways. Needless to say i didnt get the bid lol

I don't mind that I lost the job, in fact, I'm happy. This guy got the call because this means he was doing something right in order to at least get the call, quoting that Low, just shows a complete lack of intelligence as far as his business goes.
@@AllAboutPressureWashing very true they'll likely be selling their business within a year if not sooner. If he's pricing jobs this low I can't imagine just basic residential jobs he's priced no way he's feeding himself let alone if he has a family with such low prices
