    Definitely happy to see this on a DA. Maybe a microfiber pad and then foam too.
    Definitely want to see a comparison to 105/100 on a DA.
    :-)
    Edit: didn't watch the whole video before saying this. You literally did everything I wanted to see lol

    Watching this motivated me to pick up my rotary and practice for the first time. My crown Vic trans is going bad and gonna junk it until it physically can't drive any more 😂 I did a AIO Polish but it just tickled the swirls. Gonna wet sand and use the rotary 👍 that will be my practice car.

    Sorry FYI this compound not compatible with wool pad but must be used foam pad (cutting, medium or finishing) for clarity and clean . Compatible for sticky paint

    My apologies. You are correct. I watched an Apex Detailing video this morning and he agrees, microfiber, foam, DA, rotary doesn’t matter. Match pads or machine to your task. He says Mcguiars
    focus on microfiber pads is to sell more pads. I guess I just drank too much Mcguiars koolaid. Nice video. Thx.

    I think I have 2 big bottles of 105 that I'll never use. It just dusts EVERYWHERE! Spend way too much time cleaning up after using it. Personally, I switched to Ultimate Compound. People don't talk about it much but it is a great product. Does not dust at all and can be worked and worked and worked. Looks like 110 is 105, moved a little closer to the workability of Ultimate Compound. But yeah, at the price point of 110, I'll stick with Ultimate Compound.

      I will add ultimate polish as well, it is lost due to the fac5 of being marketed for diy market and you can get them at walrmart but totally agree with you, great stuff, low price and get margin for $$$ due to low cost

    If my black car unfortunately has most of the clear coat worn off and the plastic leuvers, fin on back n back bumper look oxidized even though its been kept in a storage unit or garage over the last 32 yrs n my original miles are still only at 92,000. It's a collector Camaro. Is there any safe way to polish it all before i put it up for collector's sale? Thanks

    How the heck did you get your hands on this already?! Sema connections, huh :) M110 is solvent based right? I think that's the biggest factor when it comes to working time, dusting, and wipe-off. The biggest downfall of M105 is the fact that it's water based. I still use it from time to time, you just have to know how it wants to be used and how it's going to react. Maybe I'm weird, but I'm not too concerned with how a compound finishes out. If I'm reaching for a compound, I'm looking to CUT. I'm likely gonna be polishing after anyways. Awesome vid Jim!

    Я думаю что эта паста 110 пылит не меньше чем 105, и 100 паста не сохнет и не пылит но для меха 100 паста не пойдёт слишком густая

    I learned to use a rotary in the mid 70's and it was a big heavy beast. That pad was shedding like crazy, what pad was that so I can stay away from it ? So M110....nothing too special about it

      Deluxe Vehicle Detailing and Paint Correction they are a type of pad called “new”

    • @austinmoyer9805
      @austinmoyer9805 5 років тому

      It’s a buff and shine Uro-wool pad. I love the shit out of them. His was brand new but didn’t shed nearly as much as a traditional wool pad.

    • @deluxevehicledetailingandp904
      @deluxevehicledetailingandp904 5 років тому

      I get that it was new and I do know they do shed some, this just shed more than I'm used to seeing. I've switched to Rupes wool med/coarse a few months back which although very different from " traditional " hardly shed at all. I'm a fan of the purple and blue Lake Country hybrid pads as well.

    • @austinmoyer9805
      @austinmoyer9805 5 років тому +1

      Deluxe Vehicle Detailing and Paint Correction I haven’t tried the rupes wool pads but I just switched over to the Uro-wool pads from the LC blue foamed wool and like the uro-wool way more. It cuts a hell of a lot more and finishes down just about thesame. You should pick one up on your next order to try, they are at a very good price point too

    • @deluxevehicledetailingandp904
      @deluxevehicledetailingandp904 5 років тому

      I will pick up a few on my next order. Def give the Rupes wool a try, it's a whole different wool experience. I love them. I think the first batch had some adhesive problems that I read about, but I ordered a 12 pack, 6 med/6 coarse from Auto Detailing Solutions and the per pad price was great and I've had no problems with durability. I do hand wash them with great care.

    What is your opinion on 3D's 501/502 combo? I think you would get a better perspective on compounds if you took a pine tree branch to create your scratches. Meguiars have great products, but I do believe they need to start condensing their product line. This is why I am getting swayed over to 3D compounds ad polishes. I have used 3Ds hd cut plus and the matching polish, I enjoyed using those. Plus I love how (I think it is Donald Williams who does their videos) breaks down every bit on how to use their products.

      @@autodetailingpodcast I think you might like their products, they also just released a new car shampoo/ wash soap called nano drum. their claim is that you can get over 1200 car washes out of a gallon. I am just figuring things out on how to operate my own part time mobile detail business, I already work for a great company where I only work 3 days a week and pays pretty good. I definitely appreciate the information you pass out. Carpro also has a new type of cleaner out called multi x, which I will try also. Since I live in a city that loves to salt the roads at the mention of snow or ice. I really hate taking my truck thru a car wash tunnel during winter, the only thing I like about them is that they spray the under body.
