Thank you and thank you to all the divers who work on removing old fishing gear/trash for the water. 🙏 your hard work and effort does not go unnoticed.
Love what your doing! It’s difficult to comprehend what i’m seeing. Trying to do the math in my head..how many snags a day or week over how many years.?? The lead, too!?? It’s baffling. Regardless of my blown mind, it’s beyond incredible for you guys to get a honorable amount of that mess out of there. 🔥👌💪💪. Thank you.
I haven’t gone through comments and looked, so I hope this isn’t super repetitive. But homie you need to get a pair of good large handled trauma sheers to cut line with. Like a good solid pair that Tacticool dudes put in their plate carriers. Might not work with the gloves, but the handles are pretty big. They cut through mono, floro, and braided line like butter. Anyway love the content, keep it up you guys. Oh P.S, tell your hot wife to get on camera more, she’s thumbnail material bro😉
The teamwork and determination you showed diving in those freezing waters without scuba gear was impressive. And pulling out that giant snag with a truck? That's some next-level recovery effort! Loved watching the whole process unfold. Stay safe out there and keep up the awesome work!
That’s definitely a new perspective of snagger’s rock. The next hole upstream (log hole) used to have a cable in it that would eat a lot of gear. I haven’t been there in 17 years though.
Anytime I've ever swam in a lake or a river I thought about getting hooked I'm stuck on the bottom cuz I fish a lot, I realize after I got a fish hook removed that I'll rip it out before I die nice video good stuff
Those will be some nasty fines under that lead. Don't let it dry out while you handle it or you'll be breathing straight lead oxide dust. Idk if I'd even bother with it.
That snag pulled out very easy with the truck was it removed from the river ? Both my trucks have winches one can pull 20.000 pounds and the other can pull 18.000 pounds.

nvm. haha I answered my own curiosity. good to see a local guy getting shit done. I've personally donated to that pile of lead. With that being said.....I know for a fact that river holds some decent gold.
Yes that’s exactly what we did. Drove out 400lb of lead than brought it down to the river and than swam it into the middle of the river and dumped it only to then recover it all.

But he justs cuts the lures off the line and leaves the snagged line in the water 😂😂....

Grew up there, pillaged from the dam down, sold the lead to other students at divers institute,by the ton😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

I love snorkeling in provincial parks. Lots of newbies losing fishing gear there.
Crazy amounts of led and that snag ball, good underwater footage! Ain't there any more video of them pulling it out with the truck?
No that’s all I got
Very cool, but I imagine that the state would rather have the snags intact, just so the fisherman spend more money on tackle
@@craighanson2983 😂
Do you sell the lead at all? I pour my own twitching jigs lol. Awesome content man!
@@Flytyinguntilimdyin thanks 👊🏼 I might eventually start selling
Lewis is a snaggers paradise
That’s like $2000 of fishing gear😂
Whhhhhhhhhhhhhhy in the hell are there a billion fishing sinkers in ONE spot ???
Good question
finally getting those snags out of there. thank you so much 😂
Wow amazing amount of lead
Amazing amount of old snags and lures
The most amazing is freediving.
Please stick to your rule of a buddy 😀
Freediving keeps it more interesting 😉 thanks

Not sure if you've answered this yet but what part of Washington are you in? Im located Beaverton Oregon
Looks like the lewis river that snag is crazy
It was wild
Haha! That place is a nightmare! 😅
That is Awesome, Thanks a LOT.💯
Get a nice pair of heavy duty scissors for those snags, I think that would reduce the chance of getting hooked and stuck in a snag
We use some nice Milwaukee ones every now and then
Lots of fishing lures in there
Those will be some nasty fines under that lead. Don't let it dry out while you handle it or you'll be breathing straight lead oxide dust. Idk if I'd even bother with it.
You should try the boat ramp area curious what’s down there?

I got a spot that's guaranteed bigger than that. You should dive it you'll need a dump truck for this area not buckets LOL
Is it in our area?
I doubt they were able to pull that snag from the river with the truck. It probably got snagged.
99.9% all snagger gear.

You just destroyed a fish habitat....wtf are you doing
Trust me, no fish was living in a snag with millions of miles of line, hooks and lures
Kids jump off those cliffs and swim there, anyone jumping there could easily get stuck in that snag and never come back up
I know this spot very well and other sports you have been to.
It honestly looks like they dumped a bag of lead weights then "cleaned up" everyone's snags
Yes that’s exactly what we did. Drove out 400lb of lead than brought it down to the river and than swam it into the middle of the river and dumped it only to then recover it all.
