I would be interested to see a story of Vader studying a holocron from Darth Sion. Their practice of embracing pain to gain strength are almost one for one.
I think force healing should be possible for with but in a very dark way like drain the life from one people to heal themselves or pass on the injuries to someone else to heal yourself.
I'd be interested to hear more of Vitiate and perhaps his transformation into Valkorion. There's not much on this lore of how he survived as long as he had. Could Vader have absorbed the life force of another into him? If he could, could he have taken the life force from one person and transfer it to another? It's nice that Vader didn't give up altogether, however he had to consider that in bringing balance to the Force, the Force wouldn't tilt the field from Jedi to Sith to such an extreme. The application of balance was paramount.

I don't hate the Dark Side being able to heal, but I like it being a rare power, practically unique to some, like Cade Skywalker, instead of just one morecunnatural ability any practitioner might attempt. It's a shame for Vader that he never learned of kolcta (KOTOR), or some mad, Sith alchemy that could graft other creatures abilities to one. There were certainly species in the galaxy that could regenerate, or simply had sturdier forms, in order to weather living exceedingly long lives, and if Vader had cared more about greater mysteries, or if Sidious had ever really wanted Day 1 Darth Vader back, such monstrous magic might have been used to remedy him. Using the Dark Side to sap the essence from something likeca Gen'Dai, that could live a long time, and a long time, even through the torture, or the like. Still, it does annoy me now that we k own in some ways Vader is totally NOT dependent upon his armor, and thus could be transplanted into a new one, as much of it was removed, and even his limbs disconnected, for his bacta treatments. He had a fair bit of time to himself, and lost several limbs to combat, yet never replaced them with now superior tech, at least compared to the parts the Emperor stuck him with. Kenobi and Ahsoka each cracked off whole portions of his vital helmet, while Sidious electrocuted him, choked him, tore off his limbs, and returned him to the molten shore of Mustafar, to "fix" himself without using the Force, so how long he could function without at least whole portions of his suit seem arguable, and thus the fact that he stayed in it, and never upgraded, feels more like people adding lore to lore, and since his armor didn't change in film much,they didn't, and just said it was suboptimal, to make him even more impressive.
