Good sideshow. Are you sure the warbird at 7:15 wasn't the F6F Hellcat rather than a Wildcat? The Wildcats were mid wing and Hellcats are low wing. That's how I learned to cifer the difference at a glance. Good show. I've always wanted to go to Oshkosh. Especially, now that I've gained interest in STOL competitions.
Oops! You are correct! I must have been asleep when I labeled that one. Plus the Wildcat has that spindly landing gear that retracts into the fuselage. Good catch. Carl
Hi, Toz. Well, the channel is new, only a couple of months. As I recall, the very first Glasairs were the taildraggers. They must have been just about the very worst ever for visibility over the nose during taxi. I remember pilot rising up out of the seat trying to see anything over (or around?) the nose.
Thank you Carl. Those are amazing aircraft. I enjoyed seeing them. It looks like you also enjoyed being there in person.
Overhauled quite a number of Beech Starship props where I work. Cool airplanes. I think there's only a few still flying.

I saw the Rutan Voyager on our ramp here in OKC years ago.
Wow Carl, I never knew that glasairs were made as tail draggers! I also did not know you had a youtube channel! -Toz
