You said “under the influence of a star” and before you said anything about the star I was confused what being drugged had anything to do with killing boos. God I’m dumb
You missed one thing about the Boos in the ground night theme: Stretches will stop moving when the player faces them, but only when they are also facing the player and emerged from the ground.
@@faziarry In the ground-night theme, when the player faces away from a Thwomp, it will slowly move horizontally (or vertically if it is a sideways Thwomp) towards the player until it lines up with them, and then it will drop-attack as it normally does. It's worth noting that most enemies have their own "quirk" in the ground-night theme.
Another small thing: when Luigi is in a dry bone shell, no matter which way he is facing at first, if he plays dead all boos freeze, even if you are facing away or are in the night theme.
Idk if anyone else knows this, but in the super mario galaxy game, there are these boo variants called bomb - boos. These are just normal boos, but in the game, if you spun, you held it by the tongue, and swung it around. It exploded after a short time or through physical impact with an enemy, and chases you no matter what. I hope that nintendo might include this in a dlc or something
3:34 I was confused for a moment what winged ring Boos move the same speed as. I assume the same speed as winged boos. Boos are one of the most unique enemies in Mario and in sidescrolling games. They're so cute too!
You did a great job here!!! Only two things I am missing: 1. a boo in a lakitu cloud can be avioded by ducking, if the cloud is the same hight as mario. For example a nice tech in a tunnel with one block hight. Most players don't know that ducking is possible, too overcome the boo in the cloud. 2. In the theme ground at night, a boo reacts in the opposite way: facing him = the boo moves towards mario; facing away from a boo = the boo doesn't move. This happens in all the four "old" game styles - and I thing cool levels are possible with this opposite behavior of the boos.
I think you might’ve forgot that Stretches in the Night Ground theme also mimics the behavior of normal boo, but still slides on the ground like what they do in other themes.
Stretch also takes on the properties of a Normal Boo in Ground Night. They move unless you're facing them, but they'll ONLY stop if they're facing you as well
I did not know that parachuting boos will not turn into stretches upon hitting the ground and can collide with terrain while descending. Thanks for the info. I think my favorite use of boos is having a boo ring in a clown car (I did this way too much in SMM1) as well as having them stacked on another enemy to make for a (mostly) unkillable enemy stack and some interesting platforming. I especially like the erratic jumps from an unchained chomp.
4:59 "A boo's behavior does not change when stacked." Aww, I really felt that. He may be stacked, but he still remembers his old friends. Wealth hasn't changed him.
Wow this video is surprisingly long, didn't realize that boos had so many properties! Also 7:00, had no idea, that's actually giving me some ideas for a level
Aw man if only I knew about boo buddies in clouds. Would of been so cool to add to a level I made based on traveling a autoscrolling manor. Great video though!
imitating ceave on purpose for a joke (a few times already) and then using his levels as an example... Could this mean a collab (probably not), but it would be nice to see what you could make together.
I didn't know the boos switch movement behavior in the night ground theme. I also didn't know boos rings stop moving when looked at in that theme. Sounds useful, but possibly confusing for the player when one ghost type chases and the other hides in the same theme.
One thing I wish Mario Maker 2 had was that you could choose the effect of the level for example the wind could be in any theme or imagine you could select bullet bills automatically shooting from the right side of the screen or infinitely respawning lakitu or the giant Cheep Cheep from Mario 3 in that one stage where the stage moves up and down not the water
in case you didn't know, a boo can actually be stopped by other boos, you can try this by stacking a wall of boos with munchers on the bottom and have a boo on the other side of the wall.
You know after you go through all the items it may be a good idea to continue this series but by going through what you missed from your comment sections and get ideas to showcase from your fans/subscribers/patreons. You know as an addendum to the items.
... ... ... The fact that boos don't stop Mario makes it possible to damage boost through the boo wall, as long as Mario can get his hands on a powerup. Make sure you don't give him any powerups if you want to use a boo wall.

-Simple- Easy
You forgot to mention how stretch boos change their behavior in the ground night theme. :3
That behaviour in the night ground theme is super weird and I had no idea that boos behaved like that in that style!
The Behavior of the Boo Ring at the Ground Night theme also happens to the stretch.
I didn't know the boos switch movement behavior in the night ground theme. I also didn't know boos rings stop moving when looked at in that theme. Sounds useful, but possibly confusing for the player when one ghost type chases and the other hides in the same theme.
“Boos are the only enemy with omni-directional movement.” Phantos: ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT?

Could you do some sort of breakdown on stuff like wind, water, low gravity, stage elements and settings rather than items?
7:22 also a stretch in ground night theme will act like a mix of bothe a normal boo and a normal stretch
Stretches in the ground night theme also react to which way Mar---uh, Luigi, is facing
what happens if you are in the middle of the boo rings at ground-night theme? will it go right or left?

I didn’t know stretches could have wings, thanks for this info
Interesting thing you missed: unlike a pipe or bullet bill blaster, a Lakitu can spawn multiple boos without waiting for them to die.
When you do the Goomba you should definitely use the Lonely Goomba intro for the sound before the explanation.
You forgot that stretches in night ground are also modified to react to player orientation like Boos in normal themes.
You seriously deserve more subs. Like, dang.

You forgot about how stretches act in night ground. Also you can place a spiny on a big boo to make it look like King Boo.
Oh my gosh you said deboo that’s adorable
It's crazy how much there is to boos
I had no idea they done that in the ground night theme! Troll createors are gonna have a joyride!
You can create a large stretch if it is stacked on an enemy and on ground.
Did anyone notice the boo using their NSMBU render in SM3DW ?
Also there is a glitch to make giant stretches
You can also defeat Boos and Peepas in 3D World if you hit them with Builder Mario's Hammer.
