I really appreciate that you discuss troll level potential in these levels. A lot of uninformed players consider troll levels to just be bad levels with hidden blocks, whilst in reality, troll levels are arguably _the_ most creative and complex genre of levels in this game. It’s interesting seeing how each course part can be used in clever ways to trick the player, and I’m glad that you go into detail about that rather than just pretending that troll levels don’t exist!
I guess you can say there's a lot of things we don't *SEE* with this item. But as soon as you *SAW* Them again you got a idea. I'm pretty Punny SANSSSSSSSSS
I just realized why your how to use videos sound so peculiar. Your videos practically mirror the trailer and reveal videos for mm2 made by nintendo themselves! Everything to the tone to the script to the music to the gameplay- the authenticity is more than tangible- its waving itself in my face, and that's great!
I think my favourite use of them I've seen is the occasional pinball level/section (thwomp activated, usually), but they're not something I've used in a level myself.
I love u TXB. You have inspired me to make my super world called Super Mario™ 2D World. You have given it so much detail. If there is anything I can do to owe you back, let me know 👍👍👍
5:45 no mention of the Triforce made of coins you collected, from version 1, way before Link Powerup was a thing. 6:24 you just showed Mario can clip through seesaws when there's a solid above Mario. Pretty sure only Items squeeze over like that nowadays. Mario just goes straight down. 7:17 You're standing underneath the tile to the right of the hidden block. Because radius, you still go up, but you're not under the troll. 7:20 The fat muncher is so close to the fulcrum that Mario's fat foot on the edge of the seesaw applies enough force to meddle with the Muncher's large hitbox, that the muncher must push back to level the pixel so vis a vis an opening on the edge of the seesaw is available.
Tried to implement one in to a mechanism to feed Mario a spring through a 1 way. The jank was real. I kept being able to cheese it, or it just wouldn't work sometimes. Opted for an on/off switch that reveals a spring instead. Maybe next level.
“Did you see Saw?” “Of course I seesaw! Mose and I seesaw all the time.” “No, the movie. Did you see the movie Saw?” “Oh. Yeah. Great film. Almost as fun as going on a seesaw.”
As a physics student. sparing from 'Torque craziness' makes me chortle. Especially since he just explained it all for this scenario basically, but substituting torque with 'total weight'. nice video though
Seesaws should've move different in the plain night theme, like, you stand on one side and that's the side that moves up, or light objects now weigh more.
You just miss something in the beginning of the video: the weigh of the twisters. Well, they weight 0. And you make an error : Pokeys weigh different according to their size : 2-blocks high Pokey weigh 2 3-blocks high Pokey weigh 3 4-blocks high Pokey weigh 4 ... 8-blocks high Pokey weigh 8 So the Pokey weigh between 2 and 8. Nevertheless, it's a good video !

I need to soon. Thanks for the help!
I just use seesaws as tilty platforms. My favorite trick is to put a Dry Bones or other edge-wary enemy on it.

I use them to hide objects and then to later reappear in the same area

Why doesn't the thumbnail seesaw have a center?

Didn't know I'd get a math lesson in this video. Great breakdown.
Your use of alliteration is making me really excited and I don't know why.
Great video as always.

That thumbnail seesaw hits just kinda different.
There’s no middle?
I’m going to make a traditional seasaw level thanks for these videos!

I always forget how small your channel is. It deserves to be way bigger
It's a crying shame this channel is as small as it is.
When I remixed my first level from the first iteration of Super Mario Maker, I made extensive use of seesaws and put in a few swinging claws.

Since when did Tobias become Ceave? 😂 Thanks for figuring all that stuff out with the weights, man!
Based on the 1 and a half videos I watched, a crossover with Ceave would be amazing
Actually, my first level in Mario Maker 2 was based on the theme of seesaws.

Does it really tilts slower in liquids or was it that the object took more time falling?
It does tilt slower, although the object did fall slower as well.
If 2 thwomps hit a seesaw at the same frame, what happens?
