Proverbs 12:10 “Whoever is righteous has regard for the life of his beast, but the mercy of the wicked is cruel." Your love for your horse is beautiful ❤️ look forward to seeing some of your beautiful countryside 👍🏻
Totally understand the loss of that special horse. It takes time to heal. When my girl passed I almost sold my saddle. Glad I didn't. It was 2 years after when another special girl came into my life. You'll get through it.
I am very sorry for your loss as everyone who subscribes to your channel is I'm sure. Losing a companion animal, whatever it might be is extremely difficult. We get emotionally attached and they become a part of your family. I believe their short lives are the price we pay for the joy and happiness that they bring to our lives. I will pray for you while you grieve.
Sorry for the loss of your beloved horse, faithful companion and friend. I wish you and your family the best during this sad time. Always remember the good things you shared with your friend and take heart he is running in a pasture waiting for you to be with him again.
I am so sorry for your loss. Had horses my whole childhood. And it’s so sad to see them go. Had some old ones that finished out their days with us and two yearlings that passed due to kidney failure and a freak accident. I grew up in the Black Hills but now I’m in Wisconsin, but I love going back for visits! I look forward to seeing the beautiful rides on your new channel!
I will watch when you come back. You do you and take the time you need. Can't wait till new vids come out. I will watch your Harley channel to past the time. Love the black hills. You and your family take care,I will miss Zip. Till the hills and the sound of the hammer brings us together again. So long for now.
I haven't been subscribed to the channel for long, but I too recently lost a beloved animal friend. This video cut me down to the feels. You take as much time as you need, good sir.
Sorry for your loss. Thank you for teaching many of us with woodworking desires how to handle less than perfect material techniques. Good luck with the new career and channel.

Thinking of my own loss of a beautiful blue roan, she was gave me two beautiful colts and so many of my childhood memories include her. I'm 60 and still miss her. Thanks for sharing.
A man and his horse. It is a unique love. So sorry. Zippy was very lucky to have a life with you. Please talk to us about him someday. I'll bet you have some great Zippy stories. He was fine looking!
New subscriber. Signed up for the other channel. 👍 Sorry for your loss. Had to put our Black Lab down a little while back because of uncontrollable seizures. It’s very hard to stomach. ❤️ And welcome to the brotherhood and sisterhood of the Highway 🚛📦 Been driving OTR for 17 years now.
So sorry to hear of your loss. In reality, I do not believe animals fear death, like we do. He's still with you, and it's natural. The bond between you is still great.
I'm terribly sorry & deeply saddened to hear about the loss of your friend and family member Ol Zippy.. you might have to lost a part of you with his passing however he left a piece of himself in you. At the age of 43 I struggle alot with loss compared to when I was a younger man. My heart goes out to you and RIP Ol Zippy
Anything close to the heart always hurts we are only human life is all about letting go and reopen your heart to something new and different When your down get up cowboy it all hurts you have tons of support
Sorry to hear about the loss of you buddy! It is something that eats on you overtime. There is a lot that can share but I would. I don't know where the last 40+ years have gone, but they are, gone. I am not on social media, don't know how it works or how to use it. Until a year, maybe two, I didn't own a cell phone until the oldest of my two sent me an iPhone 6S. But since 2008 I did own a phone. I ride Yamaha's and have a 102 cu in Bagger but don't get to ride it because they where trying to fix my back, but after try #3, they stopped. I have a lot on my mind as well. Your buddy will always be with you. Just found your channel tonight, and thanks. I have not gotten one thing done! DK. Omaha.
Sorry for your loss. When you lose a member of the family wether it is human or horse it is not easy. Know that he is not hurting any longer and in his own way would want you to keep going.💜💚🤠👍🏻🐴
So very sorry to hear of your loss. Glad that you are on the mend. I look forward to more content on both of your channels. Oh yeah, congratulations on the retirement, and good luck on your new gig.
Heartfelt condolences across the Atlantic for the loss of your companion, near the end it's really tough to make decisions for one's loved ones, it's heartbreaking. Regretfully, despite the beauty of Black Mountains, I shall not be joining you on your biking travels, I like bikes but the self-propelled variety. Anyways, I wish to thank you for your old school approach to your building projects, much appreciated, so in the hope to see some more creations I'll remain subscribed & bell icon notifications ticked...Good luck on your Harley, be very careful out there, a lot of people don't know how to drive!!
Sorry to hear about zippy, missed your videos. You have always amazed me, you just look like the ol days, the wild west, your mustache, your cowboy hat, your cool timber frame.... you just have that cowboy look that would shoot a sick horse and tell people it had to be done and show no emotion, but you surprise me, shows we are all human, I know zippy can not be replaced, but you will meet her again one day.
RIP Zippy. May your trail be long and peaceful. Thank you Tim, for sharing with us. We in my family are horse people and I do not look forward to the loss of our great horse Phoenix. I'm glad you art taking the time to work through your pain and change. I'm sure the new channel will be great. I'm not a H.D. person, that would be my son. But I will join and follow along with that journey. Blessings on you as you go. Your friend in Arizona, Richard
I was concerned and thought you might be struggling with your loss. I'm glad you are doing better. I always tell people to keep those happy memories close to your heart to get you through the tough times. Take care.
I realise it's little consolation but, my own personal experience is when I lost my granddad just over thirty years ago, when he had cancer, 50% of me wanted him to cling on for dear life and 50% of me wanted him to slip away....he made the right choice for himself and I was privileged to spend his last night with him mopping his brow, the night The Berlin Wall came down !
Have really enjoyed your channel. Will look forward to when you start creating again. Until then take all the time you need to relax and reset. Thanks for all you do!
Good horses come along once or twice in a lifetime ... ... I completely understand your loss and know and understand how that kicks you in the gut !.! On a lighter note, I'm very happy to hear of your retirement and your new adventures and wish you and yours well. I look forward to future videos. CW Peterson Grass Valley, California; USA
Brother, I’ve had horses and dogs and I’ve lost both my best friends (horse and dog). It’s been almost 10 years since I lost them both , and although much better, if I look at one of my thousands of picture I have of them too long, I’ll break down! Nothing to be ashamed of!!👍🏻
Tim, somehow I missed seeing this when you uploaded it; I never saw the notification. It must have been shortly after your email back to me explaining that some things had transpired. Firstly, my heartfelt condolences on losing Zippy. You were a good friend to him; I could tell when you would talk about him how much you loved him and I'm sure he appreciated such a good friend in you and your wife. Secondly, congratulations on your retirement from firefighting. I didn't know that's what your profession was. Thirdly, I see that you've also uploaded another GPC video about two months ago, which I am going to now watch. I wish you the best on your other channel and continued followers and success here as well.
I've got to have another back surgery but when I get that done and healthy again maybe next spring I would like to ride out your way.. Tough losing a good friend like a good horse, so that's understandable why you've taken a break. You're trucking now?? Staying local and home every night? How long have you been driving already? I've only been across the Black Hills a time or two in the few years I've been driving. Great scenery, wouldn't mind going through there a little more often. Hey, take care and see you on the next vid. And maybe see you down the road too. Cheers PS, just subbed to your new channel.
You've been missed Tim! Glad to see and hear you. So sorry for your loss of Zippy. I recently lost my faithful companion, Duke, and it hurt much. I'm subscribing to Rolling Heavy so I can enjoy the Black Hills with you. Take it easy and I'll await your posting of new videos.

I understand how you feel. I did the same with a dog. I didn’t want to let her go and looking back at videos I see how I kept her alive for me and there were days she surely was suffering. And two years later typing this brings tears. I hope you are doing better
