Hey! I was wondering what wok you use and what induction stove. I bought two round wok induction stoves, but both don't fit my 14 inch craft wok. Struggling to figure out how to get wokking on induction. Nice recipe, I'd love to try it with my girlfriend once we get wokking!
Hey. It's a no-name wok from a neighbourhood store. From what I was told, induction wok cookers generally fit deeper woks i.e. woks that are more round than flat. Because that's what restaurants use. In my earlier videos, I was using a flat bottom wok on a wok induction cooker. So only the sides were in contact with the cooking surface. Not efficient but it works. Hope this helps, 😊
@@BusyDaddyCooks heya, thanks for the reply! I've got a maxima and a hendi stove rn but neither of them fit my 14 inch round wok right. I think there is some variance in induction wok stoves. Re: your wokstove, is there no sticker on it anywhere with a brand name or serial number? Could the store tell you where they got it? Thanks 🙏
@@Kippenoma The wok I am using is this one ua-cam.com/video/_xJRW00zVFM/v-deo.html. At the 0:25 mark, you can see that it only comes in a plastic bag and a price tag. Its a carbon steel, no-name, generic wok. I have no other information on it. 😔
Sorrry, I mean the stove - where did you get that one or where does it come from?@@BusyDaddyCooks The stoves I got are both not that round, even though they're called 'wok stoves' - I think you might have a rounder/bigger one. I'd like to get something like that.
@@Kippenoma I bought it in a mom and pup shop in Ang Mo Kio Central, Singapore. Not sure if this helps. I don't think they have a website, FB or IG. It's likely made in China.
Nice ! ❤
Thanks 😊
