Welcome to 2024!
We are happy to bring back the Pass The Mic show after such a long pause due to observing and taking space during times of extreme turmoil in the world. I tried to find a way to search to use the platform to have the most impact and reach to communities and musicians that need this space to be of serve to community. What better way to start off the new year and month of February that is observed as Black History Month in Turtle Island to highlight amazing talent on the continent.
Gabrielle-Gloria is an American songwriter, musician, and vocalist, known for her roles as the lead vocalist in metal band Annex Void and hard rock band Black Note Graffiti. With Black Note Graffiti, she has graced stages at renowned music festivals including Upheaval, SXSW, and Miles of Music. The band has also collaborated with award-winning producer Josh Schroeder (known for his work with Lorna Shore, Dayseeker, King810, and Talla) on their highly anticipated full-length album slated for release in 2024. Annex Void has been gaining momentum following the success of their debuts single “Past Future Illusion,” released in December 2023, and they are gearing up for the launch of their full EP in spring 2024.

Pass The Mic is an alternative music online show available to watch through UA-cam where we invite musicians, producers and artists to share about their music, inspiration and story as well as artists that they would like to “Pass the Mic” for us to learn more about and reach out to for a new episode.
Where we say alternative we encompass general alternative music - rock, metal, electronic and drum and bass artists, musicians and producers.
While focusing on alternative music, we make sure to include a diverse range of artists from different sub-genres within the alternative music spectrum to showcase the richness and diversity of the alternative music scene.
