My dad's is doing this. They Jury rigged the key claiming it was the key at fault. But any time it's hot outside, over say 76°F it does this. It's been well over a year and he's still fighting it and none of the mechanics know the problem. They charged him like $400 for a battery and the terminal but still nothing. They (mechanics) won't even consider the starter or relay being the issue. If you figured your problem out please respond to my post
Without proper test equipment such as electronic battery analyzer or carbon pile tester you cannot make a determination if the battery is good or no good by simply putting on the lights.

My 2016 Nissan rogue hasn't started in a month now, I took it in to the dealer and they don't no either,, I think Nissan deserves a big law suit with all of these people just on UA-cam alone experiencing the same problem, my Nissan still not starting.
@@tremarrimorris75 Is your car not running? Is the engine not running at all? When you press the start button, does the predecessor turn the engine, but it does not work?
@@islandskullz587 underneath the brake pedal. There are actually two. They can be removed and cleaned. Not sure why your brakes feel hard though. I didn’t have that issue.

Did you have to change the ignition switch because I am starting to think that is what's wrong with my Nissan

It’s the brake contact switch.
Where is it located? Brake pedal feels hard like it's engaged.

I think I'm having another issue brake is hard cuz booster isn't on I think my battery might be dead

My car was very cold. Took it for a spend, and she's good to go. I will go back out in a few hours and see if it will start up again.
Was it the alternator?
He said it was the starter.
