Can we all take moments over to appreciate Lady Pamela is here
You edited that comment?
@@Samuelfish2k you feel the need to jump on a guy who probably misspelled something and didn't want to look like an idiot for it? (in his mind anyways) Oh look I hit the edit too! lol.
@@BlueTrane2028 No, I honestly can’t understand what exactly he’s trying to say After he edited it. Least he could’ve done was fix it right. Lol.
Does that post make sense to you? And how in the world did 77 people thumb that? Correct me if I’m wrong, and I’ll gladly admit it.
Not everyone speaks eloquently, but general gratitude to Pamela was easy to comprehend.
@@BlueTrane2028 I admittedly have trouble sometimes making out typos.. But it boggles my mind how there could be 88 people who are equally as stupid as the person who put together that sentence. America is crumbling.🤦🏻♂️
Congrats in bringing Pam here on the channel. She's an awesome storyteller and has awesome insights on the cannonball runs history.
Exactly great to see it from her point of view
"Every ambulance should have a Recaro seat."
They usually do, at least in Europe.
Thank you, Ms. Yates for agreeing to share your car stories with the VinWiki family. While the Cannonball movie is legendary for it's story lines and humor. Only the people who were actually there can tell you the backstories that Hollywood can't. Thanks again, Lady Pamela. The big chair is always yours, please come back soon!
Royalty has come among us, thank you for the story, as marvellous we knew it would be, thanks Ed for persuading her to tell story
I've heard a lot of Cannonball stories, told by a few different people..this was hands down the absolute best one yet. Thanks for sharing!
I too am a GL, minus an r.
J.J. McClure: I'm sure that doctor's a very sweet man, basically.
Victor Prinsi: Oh, thank you.
J.J. McClure: But don't you ever tell me where you found him. Ever.
Ever
I was just surprised that all the animals there........ I DONT WANNA KNOW WHERE YOU GOT HIM ......okay

@@zpppp7606 ? Sorry..dont know what that means
"we're very close." 🤣🤣🤣👍
Words from the women herself, I feel like I'm in the company of a celebrity
More Lady Pamela! An absolute delight to hear the story first hand. I certainly hope she told some more tales while in the chair. She is the best!
Here, Here! I second the motion. Likewise, should the opportunity avail itself in the near future. A visit from "Gentleman" John Ficarra to come regale us with another 4 or 6 wheeled adventure in his own unique style is in order. The Big chair beckons! #TheDudeAbides #ThisCanBeRed❗
Thank You Mrs. Yates for sharing such an amazing story!
Absolutely one of my favorite movies growing up, and hearing this story from the lady herself…. My day is made, might as well go to sleep right now because it ain’t getting any better then this.
Incredible story and wonderful to see the Lovely Lady Pamela that I have read about since the 1980's in Car and Driver!
this is absolute GOLD
Dear vinWiki, Absolutely FANTASTIC!! I have watched every single episode for the last 2 years..COULD YOU PLEASE GET DENNIS COLLINS IN THE CHAIR??? No matter what in takes, but leave Richard Rawlings in Dallas. Thank You!
All my life I have read the words of Yates and other cannonball alumni. It will never get old hearing these stories.
It’s great to see Pamela on the channel telling the inside story of the traffic stop.
I want to see the Trooper on next week!!
this means a bit more to those of us who grew up in the 70's and remember how life was back then
You’ve all outdone yourselves with this one… great story, fantastic lady, it doesn’t get any better…
Legendary. Pure. Legendary.
Bolian- This is the best story/storyteller that you’ve had on this channel in the many years I’ve been watching. Good show, good man.
Thank you for telling the story of that amazing encounter, Lady Pamela. Myself, and others I'm sure, would love to here more of your adventures. They would be an privilege and an honor to hear.
Thank you Ms Yates for sharing this incredible (to us) part of your life.
God Bless Pamela! She tells the story perfectly! 😍😎😂
The Cannonball Run had a huge influence in my life and this is why I've been a subscriber from the beginning. My question is how do you feel about having a bunch of great actors come together to make a movie about what you did.
Inviting the troopers out was epic. That must have been one wild night.
I do so love this story. We often think that much of this was so well planned, tested and executed. And it's only dumdums like "us" that are getting it together the morning of. We all have had moments where things go way wrong and others that go pretty close to as planned. But nothing is more thrilling at the end of the day than when you look at each other and realize we should have never gotten away with what happened back there and this car should not have held together 20 miles let alone 2000. Zip ties and duct tape are the classic joke, but when you roll into your destination beating all the odds of logic and reason it's just so sweet.
We live in rural Northern Minnesota my wife went into labor i was speeding down the highway to the nearest hospital highway patrol pulled me over asked me why i was speeding told him my wife was in labor and way trying to get her to a hospital he said he didnt care and drive the speed limit lol
Best Vin Wiki Story in a very long time!!!!
She's a great storyteller!
That was AWESOME!!
Thank you lady Pamela.... Just a wonderful story.
👍🏁👍🏁👍🏁👍
These are the best stories! Thanks for sharing!
What a great story. Shame it wasn't depicted quite like that in the film, but still absolutely brilliant 😂❤️
soo cool to hear the storys from the actual people that where there... keep em coming
Wow. Fantastic story. Thank you Ed
This is best cannonball run story
We thought lazer jammers and radar detectors were wild. Theses guys took “counter measures” to the moon!
They built an ambulance and even stuck an IV in this woman. The Nardi wheel and Recaro seats with a loping V8 is really cool too:)
she made it pretty clear it wasnt actually in her, it was running down her arm
@@mycosys oh I misunderstood that! I thought she meant running down her arm from inside. I’ve had IVs put in my arm before and you can feel it rush through your veins at first.
More of these classic stories! VinWiki is a great historical record, the modern stuff is good, but these classic stories are GOLD!
Wow! This is amazing always wondered about the real life story of cannonball movie
Lady Pamela is amazing the life and the phone that she must have had that will never know. Until she gets on here and tells us some crazy stories and to her is probably just normal everyday life with Brock
Such a wonderful lady!!!
Oh wow this takes me back. That's amazing you got pam to sit with you
My favorite scene of the cannonball run movie.
Excellent story, thanks for sharing
This was a truly awesome story well done.
Excellent story…well done, thanks for your web site!👍
Wonderful story
Thank you.
What a win for VinWiki. Classic story with no hearsay.
low key sounds like Mrs. Incredible lol
Dude how weird is it that I watched cannonball run 1&2 last night before this was uploaded. Crazy
Crazy coincidence, I just came across my copy of "Cannonball" written and autographed by Brock Yates last night....It was an honor to get a first run copy and gave it signed, I knew a some of the stories from the book but hearing one first hand from Pamela is priceless.😅😂🤣😉👍
I love watching her stories. it's like sitting down with my grandma and her telling me cool stories all the time like she used to. Thanks Lady Pamela!
For you younger crowd that don’t know, this woman and her late husband are absolute legends.
I had no idea. Wildly entertaining
For a story I’ve heard from many perspectives this is one of my favorite.
I got out of a 103 in a 55 in a '16 mustang convertible 6 spd with a warning because I was on my way to a sex shop to get a birthday gift for a 69 yr old gma.
Nothing in this comment is a lie, and that trooper was amazing.
This so so awesome!
Thank you sm for this!
Awesomely awesome.
Not only is Lady Pamela here but she’s an absolute legend and a wonderful storyteller. So happy to get to hear this story.
Enjoyed.................... 👍👍👍
Would love to see one of the Troopers on VinWiki
I love this lady she’s funny
My new favourite Vinwiki story teller. Hoping to hear more stories from Lady Pamela. This one was epic!
Love these old cannonball story's, these guys and gals seem like a fun group.
BUT has anyone found the Doctor for an interview?????
I grew up in Bergen County. That's hilarious.
If a movie had a scene like this, I would've called BS on how unbelievable that whole scenario was lmao
a movie does have it, it's in canonball run ;)
Cannonball Run came along during the end of the Golden Years in Hollywood . There is nothing Golden about Hollywood anymore that’s for sure . Sure makes me miss how things used to be
This is the best Cannonball story that we've heard!
Omg this was too funny 🤣 what an amazing story
This story is hilarious / just like the movie
It had me laughing more or less from beginning to end!
What a wonderful story, an iconic story. And Pam is completely adorable. Thanks Ed, I absolutely love the content.
DID SHE SAY HAL NEEDHAM ?!?!?
that man is my absolute HERO !!! seriously, if you dont know, look him up.. RIP my stunt lord, RIP
Definitely a great story of the times. I hate to think what today's law enforcement would do...😳 Thank you for another great behind the scenes look at Cannonball.
The book is great, got to read it if interested in the whole cannonball story. Especially Dan Gurney talking about driving that Ferrari Daytona at 160 mph at night. A can’t put it down book!
Hey Vinwiki, I've enjoyed many of the stories here but this one here ranks top of the top. Great story. Thank you for all the posts.
Senor El Negra says the Nightmare is real
Wow. What a story. What an epic time. 👏amazing =]
Still a fox
I can’t believe you got her on. I hope she told several stories. Lol
@VINwiki ... I would like to thank you all so very much for balancing the volume better and restoring the Closed Captions...
Thank You and Many Blessings , SMR
Lady Pamela- just as important as the her husband, but much prettier, He could not have been Brock without her.
The best story, but how do you coherently tell that. You can't. Hopefully someday this is standard education.
Loved the movie growing up, one of the greatest car movies of all time !! FYI you guys influenced a generation of car culture just like Fast and Furious except better.
I was expecting travis bell... but I'm glad to see pam telling more stories
Thank you VINwiki for bringing Lady Pamela to tell a awesome story!
I can't imagine the looks on everybody's faces during and after that traffic stop, and the thoughts they must have been wondering afterward xD hahaha. I think they probably knew that something was up, but they could also tell that the situation had enough plausible deniability plus the sensitive topic of medical emergencies that they decided it just wasn't worth it to pursue it.

WOW i lived in Bergen county NJ!
to be chief of police there must be big deal
Not gunna lie, awesome to here a woman's story on VInWiki.
We need more
This has got to be my favorite story of all time
Ok, I gotta admit. When I saw a non-usual story teller here, I was really tempted to click off and move on. Thank god I didn’t! Thank you for the great story Mrs. Yates!
Yup, one of my favorite movies.
What a great automotive history story
Knew iT! That's why the DOCTOR was quiet. He was paying attention, so he could bullshlit anyone he needs to
We need a hero to get the trooper on here 👍🏻👌🏻🙏🏻
F BEEP, F BEEP Said F BEEP every 12 seconds Sorry. and back to the story.. LOL Love it...
In case you have to RUN.. SHE IS AWESOME.... LOL
Looks all innocent but if you look close and move the hair around you will see two little horns propping up that halo...
With a wingwoman like that you could get away with just about anything.
F BEEP..
Top ten channel story of all time
Wow. That's probably the best Vinwiki story I've heard. Thanks Ed!
this is simply amazing! haha i love stories like this.
