Absolutely one of my favorite movies growing up, and hearing this story from the lady herself…. My day is made, might as well go to sleep right now because it ain’t getting any better then this.
Crazy coincidence, I just came across my copy of "Cannonball" written and autographed by Brock Yates last night....It was an honor to get a first run copy and gave it signed, I knew a some of the stories from the book but hearing one first hand from Pamela is priceless.😅😂🤣😉👍
Dear vinWiki, Absolutely FANTASTIC!! I have watched every single episode for the last 2 years..COULD YOU PLEASE GET DENNIS COLLINS IN THE CHAIR??? No matter what in takes, but leave Richard Rawlings in Dallas. Thank You!
Thank you for telling the story of that amazing encounter, Lady Pamela. Myself, and others I'm sure, would love to here more of your adventures. They would be an privilege and an honor to hear.
We thought lazer jammers and radar detectors were wild. Theses guys took “counter measures” to the moon! They built an ambulance and even stuck an IV in this woman. The Nardi wheel and Recaro seats with a loping V8 is really cool too:)
@@mycosys oh I misunderstood that! I thought she meant running down her arm from inside. I’ve had IVs put in my arm before and you can feel it rush through your veins at first.
What a great Story. Brock and Pam are such wonderful people. We used to dine in their Cannonball Pub in NY State. It so great to get HER point of view on all of this, just fills in the story in a very special way. Thank you VinWiki!
The Cannonball Run had a huge influence in my life and this is why I've been a subscriber from the beginning. My question is how do you feel about having a bunch of great actors come together to make a movie about what you did.
Lady Pamela is a wonderful story teller. I could listen to her for hours. Imagine all the incredible things she experienced with Brock. Since I was a kid I always enjoyed Brocks stories and magazine articles. Every so often I watch Cannonball on my VCR, yeah it’s crappie but there’s something about the old tech that makes me smile while watching the old movies.
This was a great way to complete the story. I like how she pointed out the "parallels" where everyone involved had their own perspective on this bizarre incident.
Hey Vinwiki, I've enjoyed many of the stories here but this one here ranks top of the top. Great story. Thank you for all the posts. Senor El Negra says the Nightmare is real
Out of all the awesome stories that have been told on this channel, this one is my favorite and in my opinion the best one. Ed you are a very lucky man and I envy you being able to talk to Lady Pamela herself. She is true automotive royalty. Thank You for sharing this interview.
I do so love this story. We often think that much of this was so well planned, tested and executed. And it's only dumdums like "us" that are getting it together the morning of. We all have had moments where things go way wrong and others that go pretty close to as planned. But nothing is more thrilling at the end of the day than when you look at each other and realize we should have never gotten away with what happened back there and this car should not have held together 20 miles let alone 2000. Zip ties and duct tape are the classic joke, but when you roll into your destination beating all the odds of logic and reason it's just so sweet.
@VINwiki ... I would like to thank you all so very much for balancing the volume better and restoring the Closed Captions... Thank You and Many Blessings , SMR
Definitely a great story of the times. I hate to think what today's law enforcement would do...😳 Thank you for another great behind the scenes look at Cannonball.
Best story ever!! . Ed when are you gonna tell some stories about experiences in these rallies??? Are you sworn to secrecy ??? I bet you may very well be... love the channel ❤
Can we all take moments over to appreciate Lady Pamela is here

Congrats in bringing Pam here on the channel. She's an awesome storyteller and has awesome insights on the cannonball runs history.
Exactly great to see it from her point of view
"Every ambulance should have a Recaro seat."
They usually do, at least in Europe.
More Lady Pamela! An absolute delight to hear the story first hand. I certainly hope she told some more tales while in the chair. She is the best!
