I do wish civic nationalists would address the elephant in the room. Which is the genetic distance between peoples & human evolutionary theory. This does and will impact on the future of an ethnically diverse West in ways that need to be grappled with.
There are many aspects of human beings that may differ statistically across ethnic groups, etc. Eugenics is one policy for dealing with those differences, and the policy makers choose the attributes as they wish. In the Christian West, rather than culling the herd, our tradition is to try to bring the weaker up. The reason for that is the imago dei, that every human is willed by God to be, and if willing will be made to be, a demigod. But culture is neither innate nor sacrosanct, and changing that should be the focus.
I think it's important to recognise the fact that different countries require different sorts of nationalism. America cannot practice ethnic nationalism. It just doesn't make any sense. America has to practice civic nationalism. On the other hand, the nations of Eurasia have much more of an ethnic predicate to their existence.
00:37:50 "You you should only berate people for being slow learners if you're absolutely sure that what you're teaching is correct." My observation is that the more harshly the teachers berate the learners, the more incorrect their teachings are. And these slow learners have recognised that their teachers are talking rubbish and reject the new teachings. Hence the slow learning process. It's not slow learning, but quick recognition of falsehood and the covert rejection of that falsehood.
We are not obliged to consider that every aspect of our societies is founded on "falsehood," nor would that view, many would argue, best reflect reality. Rather, your own skepticism reflects the same type of fatal lack of confidence that becomes self-fulfilling. It is not, objectively, that the values are not "true."

That bit at the end: that authoritarian command - to either lie, or openly be seen to agree to a lie. As if, under a cloak of fear, or ignorance, or bewilderment, this particular means justifies that particular end. I've puzzled over this one for some time now. Does the "cause" not at times feel like a sort of cat on a hot tin roof? That the uprising and collected volume of resentment not begin to resemble that bubbling magma which preceded the eruption of Krakatoa, east of Java? Truth is not an easy thing for decent people to let go of. And by this, I mean all those persons of every stripe and description, on any and all sides of any particular divide. Like sort of having some proclaimed decree that your side will always win the match, the championship, the glory - until the thing becomes as meaningless and arcane as that invented by a mere child with decidedly narcissistic proclivities. Agreed. This little lie seems harmless enough. Until it leads to the next one. And then the one after that. Until whichever one brings the house down. And then what? The demands never quite seem to have figured that one out, or capable of foresight that acknowledges the patterns of things that humans are wont to do. As a worthy Man For All Seasons was heard to ask long ago......"And when you've torn all those legal protections down (in the name of some desultory idea of justice) and the devil turns on you, what then will be there to protect you?" This question is asked of a young zealot. Certain wisdoms are there, apparently, for a reason. But why is it really, that this fear is applied so easily and effortlessly? Calling it "cancelled" is like calling those tortured souls of Hiroshima collateral damage of a righteous conflict. Although these two categories do not rightly, adequately or perfectly conform, this modern "cancellation" embraces a mean and cruel consequence. Sort of like being legally mugged. Not just for one time, and let it go at that - but forever. Because the technological evidence never forgets. What astonished me somewhat, is that in a country whose favorite pastime appears to be launching great blizzards of lawsuits and counter charges, drifting like Alaskan snowscapes upon the far horizon, the jollies pursued by invisible mobs escapes any accountability whatsoever. Sort of like endless variations of a perfect crime. The Danube Dialogues mellow my tarnished soul almost as readily as that waltz dedicated to the river. Bravo to both.

The issue is that a tolerant, classically liberal society requires a government too anemic to be capable of enforcing the values of the ruling regime upon the country writ large. The moment you create a throne capable of doing such a thing, everyone has an irresistible incentive to seat themselves upon it and exercise its power, if for no other reason than to prevent their political/cultural/philosophical competitors from doing the same. However, a government too anemic to oppress its people will also be too weak to protect it. The sort of national re-organization of labor and industry necessitated by both of the World Wars in the United States would never have been possible without the near(verging on actually) tyrannical government institutions which directed them. And the moment you make the creation of such institutions legal, the incentive to recreate them to solve new problems of increasingly less danger becomes irresistible for politicians to promise for their constituents, resulting once again in the situation in the above paragraph. Thus, the only states which can afford classical liberalism are societies which exist in spaces which do not need powerfully centralized governments to mobilize the resources to protect them. Unless you're sheltered by natural geography (Switzerland, U.S. prior to its entanglement in every brewing geopolitical conflict in Eurasia and Africa via the Cold War), classical liberalism is untenable in the long term.

The Democrats have been gaming elections for years, the solution to the problem with elections is that we have no safeguards to insure people who vote are legal to vote, and that they only vote once. Voting by mail removes those safeguards as does voting over periods of weeks, if we all show up at the polls on the same day and show an ID and we can trust the machines and there are no "found" votes, we'd be able to agree on who won.

@James Smith The UK belongs to those who have honoured it with their blood. I'm sure some of that blood runs in your veins. Stay.
This is completely true. I'm in a major city centre and i live in a Chinese neighbourhood... In a city fucking centre. They're all students that are being imported in to be milked for tuition fees though in this case. There's several new apartment buildings which look like they can hold a few thousand people going up, as well as plans for some Chinese shopping centre in the middle of a park
Its very obvious what's going on here. I don't generally mind east asian migrants since they are productive and well behaved people but they also refuse to integrate. I've lived here for 4 years and in all that time i have only met one Asian person and he was born in the UK. I literally cannot remember any other Asian person so much as making eye contact.
People from outside Europe do not want to integrate. People from Europe make up a MAJORITY of my social circle on some occasions. Wtf is going on.

@@davidhawley1132 So what would be your desired outcomes with regard to culture change?
@@lasttango7522 A culture that recognizes and fosters the imago dei.
I think it's important to recognise the fact that different countries require different sorts of nationalism. America cannot practice ethnic nationalism. It just doesn't make any sense. America has to practice civic nationalism. On the other hand, the nations of Eurasia have much more of an ethnic predicate to their existence.

“If you don’t believe in defeat then victory would be dangerous...”
00:37:50 "You you should only berate people for being slow learners if you're absolutely sure that what you're teaching is correct."
My observation is that the more harshly the teachers berate the learners, the more incorrect their teachings are.

Both the election steal and the plan to enact the New World Order which is essentially 1984 on steroids...
Strangely, I did not disagree with any of the speakers. This has not happened for a long time so I must watch it again. They must have said something wrong.
As a worthy Man For All Seasons was heard to ask long ago......"And when you've torn all those legal protections down (in the name of some desultory idea of justice) and the devil turns on you, what then will be there to protect you?"
This question is asked of a young zealot.

If British imperialism as an example of multiculturalism why Britain did not want to further multiculturalism by allowing Germany to take them over?

The Democrats have been gaming elections for years, the solution to the problem with elections is that we have no safeguards to insure people who vote are legal to vote, and that they only vote once. Voting by mail removes those safeguards as does voting over periods of weeks, if we all show up at the polls on the same day and show an ID and we can trust the machines and there are no "found" votes, we'd be able to agree on who won.
@Je Ne Parle Pas Francais Mark Zuckerberg spent 400 million dollars to sway the election. In America there is a $2500 limit for individual donations and a $5000 limit for corporate donations.
