Why is the sound so compressed? Is it like that on the album and you don’t notice it because of the vocals etc?

I don't compress isolations myself unless really needed ; so it's either compressed in the original or UA-cam messed with the audio.

@@rbstems Really weird! I can’t find an actual legit source for the original on UA-cam so it could be that’s the way they did it just to make room for the vocals.

The masters for Lithium have unfortunately been lost/destroyed in the UMG fire of 2008 I believe, so I don't think we'll ever hear the original
