- Doug's brought his tractor round to do some fencing for me, mostly where the digger dug the new drain.
This will tidy all that up.
I've also had a good cow come on heat 10days out from mating so I'm going to put a sexed straw in her and hopefully it'll hold.
Fences are looking great, all credit to Doug!
Sweet as Andrew.
Doug is a really tidy work man. Always does a super job fencing 👌🏼
Nice work, great to spring in the air
Always good to see the fencing work Andy - makes such a difference!!
Excellent video Andrew. You covered a lot of territory.
Andrew is a top bloke.
tell Doug he's a fencing machine.
Great content. Thank you. Interesting.
i think the reson your sexed isn't getting great conception is the protocol with handling the straw when it's thawed. great video as always 👍
But AI / (Artificial Insemination) and using Jersey Sexed semen is more safer for Andrew and his father and their Family as a whole and it's especially good and Safer for their young kids as well as Bulls can Kill people Yes I Believe it's true as Bulls are dangerous
I enjoy your videos.
Great video as always Andrew, Don’t forget that 100L of molasses is gonna weigh about 160-180kg
Thats true! I meant to say they were getting .5kg rather than half a L
Love your videos. 👏👏👏
You weren’t as far out with the molasses as you thought. 1.4kg to the litre.
Hi.Just a tip. When handling straws, try not to touch with fingers and straws don't like direct sunlight on exposed tips.Hope all goes well.
I gave them a few tips a few years ago, they don't listen and will get the poor results.I used to get 70% hfrs from normal seamen, all to do with timing
Good decision going in early with the sexed. I do the very same for the same reason
amazing will visit soon you to learn more
11:59 great video
🤗🙄🐾👍Great video Andy how are you liking the Trojan?
Hey Andrew where did the molasses come from . Maybe from up here on the Atherton Tablelands. We only had 15 ml of rain for September. Pretty dry for September but good for the sugar cane harvest.
Im not to sure to be honest but at a guess I would say most probably Aussie, That sounds very dry! hopefully there might be some on the radar soon
Great video, we have used sexed semen in the past with mixed results, it's great when you get one bread with it though!!
👍🏻🇨🇦
Andrew, your crazy if you don’t use sexed semen on your heifers they should have the best conception rate, they are well grown and in good condition. Get some good advice on ideal insemination time. Cheers 🇦🇺
Totally agree with you.
