I’ve never seen reactors so in tune with what I like to watch (tv shows, horror movies, specific movies I like). And it’s great how we get 2-4 different perspectives a video. Love this channel!
I have wondered about the ‘Tea House’ plot point… It would not surprise me if in the end it turns out the Tea House were reporting intel back to Toranaga and ‘influencing’ people on his behalf. I have begun to think Toranaga sent Mariko and John to the Tea House as a test of their relationship. He knows they have become closer and wanted some proof of how deeply their relationship had progressed (he is all about intelligence and information after all). It came very very close with Kiku nudging them together but Mariko managed to hold herself back. I am not sure how Toranaga would have used the information if they had taken the lure/bait but I’d bet he would have kept it to himself for the moment.
