- For almost a year now, every time I try to find something new to add to my wardrobe I feel like it just doesn't fit right or look all that good and I figured why not try and figure out what types of clothing looks best on my body? I came across the Kibbe body analysis on TikTok a while ago but it seemed very overwhelming and difficult to understand. Turns out, it is exactly that, and it's not easy to type yourself. Especially if you are holding onto any body image biased which, I most certainly was 😂
Are you yang dominate? Or maybe yin dominant? What even is width and vertical line? These are all questions I will not be answering for you, but I WILL be switching for the answers for MYSELF 👍🏽😂 because this is my house, and you are visiting 😂
Im hoping that figuring out my type will help me make clothing and cosplays that better fit my body and maybe help cultivate more style in my thrifting adventures and my wardrobe in general
I took a bunch of quizzes but I don't think that online quizzes are the best way to type yourself. Ill list the main quiz that I took down below in case anyone wants it, but ill be the first to say, it didn't help me very much and just made me feel overwhelmed 😅

Idea: go to a store and try on as much as possible, photograph each one, then go home and evaluate what looks good. Maybe do this in an expensive store and the sew your version of the ones you like?😊

Great subject. I fell down a similar 🐇 🕳️ trying to determine my ‘season’ and find the colors that look best on me. Results were also like 60% inconclusive.
aaaaaaaaa I wanted to go see this lady that does your colors In person but its kind of expensive and I feel like a lot of the colors aren't really available to purchase in stores you know?
@@AlexandriaLayne I was actually going to do it bc Cathy Hay mentioned in a video that she had her colors done so she can easily choose fabric for her projects and know for sure she’ll love how the end garment will look on her.
I think it looks so confusing . I think they have narrowed it down and , I think there should be more as we are all so different. Also women change all the time. But after watching people like yourself I don't stress about it any more. I wanted to be the person that could where anything and I'm not. So thank you , for making me realise it don't matter.
lol its SO confusing!! 😂 it really did validate my desire to just wear what I like 👍🏽 I think some of the loose guidelines are helpful but for the most part i'm going to continue just doing what ever I want when it comes to clothing 😂 I like sweats and t-shirts
Have you tried out the Curated Closet? I really like that it has some challenges that analyze your current closet, challenge your "I can't wear that"s, and optimize your closet

this should make me not want to take ten quizzes to figure out my body type since I also don't want to be kept up at night but dang it now I'm curious...
I feel that! 😂 it kind of sucks because the quizzes are kind of fun? but they aren't really helpful! haha It would have been a better use of my time if I had taken a quiz about what kind of bread I am 😂
Girl, I took the first quiz you took and got the Classic body type too, even though I answered completely differently 😂
😂 its a set up!!! lol if I have learned anything in my many years on the internet is you can never fully trust those online quizzes 😂
I feel like I'm just now starting to understand my style but my body isn't the same after kids so I am also confusion.
I feel like in the last 15 years my style has changed across the board! its weird because I care more now about what I like and less about what's popular and that has guided me straight to just wearing pajamas all the time, I could not be happier about that 😂
@@AlexandriaLayne I've been working from home since the beginning of the pandemic so I also live in sweats/pajamas but now I'm thinking I would like to make my own custom sweats in my own style lol

That’s a huge compliment! Thank you!! lol I can definitely get away with a lot of dramatic type looks and styles, but overall I think flamboyant natural suits me 😂
