20:37 I think when students hear 3rd exit they think they need the right lane because usually on a spiral roundabout lane 1 takes the 1st exit and the 2nd exit and the 3rd exit etc you need the right lane but all roundabouts are different so it’s extremely important to read all road signs and all road markings.

26:52, if there are road markings or not if you know you’re taking the exit and you’re in the left lane naturally and intuitively you should want to keep as far left as you possibly can, your road position tells everyone you’re exiting the roundabout and by being next to the kerb you’re reducing risk for yourself massively.

03:14 that’s a perfect example of why I wouldn’t overtake on the left in that situation, doing so could be extremely dangerous, like in the example in the video clip, the car realised very late that they needed to move into your lane.

33:18 a right signal would have benefited the car waiting at exit 1.

02:48 even though it’s a new road and you’re allowed to pass on the left from that point I’d be extremely careful in doing so, personally I wouldn’t do it, I’d be thinking to myself what if a vehicle to my right has made a mistake and realises they need to be in my lane, they might potentially and dangerously come into my lane.

31:55 I wouldn’t have emerged onto the roundabout at that point, there is a car coming towards you from the right.

19:53 they have to give way to us, that’s incorrect, nobody has priority when lanes merge.

22:40 it’s baffling that not all drivers understand basic lane discipline, the left lane is for normal driving, the right lane is for overtaking or for turning right (except on a motorway, you can’t turn right on a motorway), honestly it’s not difficult, I don’t understand why some people hog the middle lane but they’re not overtaking anybody and they’re not turning right.

Sorry Rebecca, junction 10 towards bedford/burton latimer you absolutely cut the lane. Annoyingly a lot of people do it. For anyone in the right hand lane you are forced to move right to avoid a collision. Can't believe the road hasn't been repainted to avoid a crash.

Rebecca didn’t do too bad but considering she’s a driving instructor she’s needs a bit of brushing up work.
