Watching Wyrill cut through the water is lovely; So much romance, and so much history. But then my logical side sees the cramped accommodations, and all that maintenance...
During the depression bill Boeing built boats because there were few orders for airplanes, but he didn't want to lose his experienced workforce so boat building gave his employees something to do.
Boeing of Canada began as a boatyard in Vancouver BC. Bill Boeing's personal yacht the "Taconite" was built there, along with some Model 204 flying boats nicknamed "Thunderbird." As World War II approached, Boeing of Canada moved into larger facilities to produce a large number of Consolidated-contracted PBYs -- nicknamed "Canso." I'll be looking on Lake Union for the "Wyrill" -- nice vessel!
We should have it up on our Irwin Yacht Sales website shortly. In the interim, you can reach the listing broker, Kevin Blake, and he can get you all the information on Wyrill.
The same could be said for literally any yacht, especially a classic wooden one. There’s *always* some work that needs done, even a Bristol condition yacht.
Thank you for your comment. We do not put prices on our videos as they are professionally produced and can not be updated on UA-cam if a price changes. We would have to reload a new video. Many times we have the boat in the video on our website, but did not have it yet posted when we uploaded Wyrill to our UA-cam channel. Please do contact the listing broker, Kevin Blake, and he'll be happy to provide you with a specification sheet and current price. Thank you again for the comment
What a beauty . A slow walk through video is needed . A treasure indeed

Good think this was built a long time ago ;-)
As someone who does wood work on yacht interiors,
This is beautiful but needs some work.

A friend Joe Dapron had one it was name Culpea it was moored at Fremont marina. Its been own by several since he sold it he had colon cancer.
Less cheesy music ,more detail please !
Wyrill is not a registered vessel with the Classic Yacht Association, so she shouldn’t be flying CYA’s burgee from her bow
why are you afraid to show prices?

Listed at $350,000
Nice boat, horrible video..
Check the door plug bolts 🔩 😎 😊
As beautiful as she is--a wooden boat isn't a bargain at free.
Only a fool buys a wooden yacht, thinking they found a bargain. What’s your point?
