This is Mr Hahn from Clearwater Beach Florida. I had the Good Fortune of speaking to you a couple years ago. What an elegant gentleman to do such a presentation just superb. Thank you
Can't afford a yacht, but I love watching Richard do these wonderful tours while I dream of owning one. I'm guessing that every yacht broker around the world wishes that they had someone with even close to Richard's skill at showcasing a boat for sale.
I don't agree. He gets lost in the minutia and will go on and on about some minor detail of decoration, while completely skipping over important facts about many of the boats he gives walk throughs on. I had to listen to him go on for two minutes about a $5 window treatment, hoping to here more about the galley one time. He blew right past that, and went on to talk endlessly about the color of a door. Stop getting bogged down in the trivia. Yes, the wood is nice. Give more details about the freaking boat. Not the interior design or throw pillows.
@@chrisr251 Agreed, I understand that people watch the Benford Trawler video just to play the "Walnut,...Black Australian Walnut" drinking game. He may frustrate but I think he tries to sell the boat by sounding off on what the Owner's place importance on, anyway after a while you just have to chuckle.
Too much blah blah sales talk about the wood finish rather than showing us what’s what. So the stove doesn’t seem to be gimbaled and I didn’t see any outlets in the kitchen for appliances. But yes, a beautiful boat
Wow… that little big ship is my favorite I have ever seen… she could make it up the Mississippi and Missouri rivers and I could take that little beauty to the Caribbean for my winters🙏
Did you see the trees , lovely trees just lovely lovely trees. And how about the mosquito stuck on the window. Just amazing. Absolutely amazing. Has that destroyer look with the lovely inlay. Fine workmanship, like my Tilly hat.
Glad to see you again, your presentations are always so informative and well presented. This trawler looks to be one of a kind and some lucky buyer will really enjoy it.
Not even interested on that well done Reliance. I listened to the entire presentation by Richard as I love his cultured way of exalting the ship. If I had a yacht for sale I would want him to do the videos. Real Class. The ship was a beauty.
Wow! Been waiting for a video, great boat and another beautiful presentation.nobody does it like you! One of your best. You really take us on a nautical journey. You could do a great yachting travel show !! Ok I'll stop! Thank you again sir, awesome.
I love seeing these super sturdy ships converted into a yacht. I think the tradeoff in safety and reliability is worth it. Vs having all the excessive toys.
Wheelhouse is spectacular, the analog gauges and engine telegraph are just what this vessel calls for. Dutch doors to the bridge wings would be nice and I think I'd paint all that cabin woodwork white as well, to give it more of a classic yacht feel. Also could use grab rails on the deckhead. Gorgeous vessel for sure, this is one for people who like ships and being at sea, no surprise she sold as quickly as she did. Also, Richard, it's clear that you research and go over the boats you sell in advance of turning on the camera so your presentation and delivery is clear and well thought out, no "uhms" or fumbling with details. Your videos are always highly watchable.
Just love the Engine Order Telegraph ( EOT) On the bridge so youre propulsion plant can answer any ordered bell. Wow, brings me back to my Active duty years. Great vessel and as always Mr Evans is very knowledgable and great salesman Thank You
Certainly another winner of a boat and video. I would want a swim platform even if it was able to be raised upward out of the way. The range hood is a great feature which this boat has so many of!!
I don't like it when they cut the video between environments, because I lose orientation. I couldn't see the bathrooms in the broad sense, whether or not they have a closed shower stall. It must be filmed so that the spectators do not get lost on the way, since we do not have the plan of the vessel.
I always loved converted fishing boats or similar when I lived in Scotland. I'm curious, how did she get to the Pacific Northwest? How much of that passage was on her own power or how much was deck cargo? 🤔
Take my Money immediately! Just take it! 🤦🏻♂️ I wish! Someday this is how I want to live. I love it! My problem is I have a Medical Service Dog 🐕 Sweet Miss Baby and she will need to be able to get around everywhere onboard so steep Ladders or Companionway Stairs are out. You ALWAYS do an Outstanding Job! Thank you for being so thorough! God Bless!❤️🖖🏼🇺🇸
Being an expedition boat 1,300 mile range is not a lot. I love this boat but couldnt take this from San Diego to Hawaii. (2,600nm). Then he said dual 1,000 gal tanks. That should have way more range than 1,300 miles. He changed the name of the boat at the end and called her Resilience, which isn't bad either but I'm not changing the towels. :)
Why are specifics about boats never given? I get the engine size etc is important. But number of cabins& number of people they sleep if it has a crew quarters etc is also important. I want to see that immediately when I’m looking at the info.
I like the hull, the bridge is a bit dated or twee but the main downside is the range 1300 @ sub 9knots just isn't great.. Love the overall look but its just lacking something.. Not really expedition capable but definitely good for pnw or alsaka type cruises..
I really love the Trawlers. It’s a versatile boat for ocean or river. You can use them as fishing or just to vacationing. This boat is a beautiful baby. I just wish I had invested in one before other boat I bought. By the way what’s the price tag on this one about?
I couldn't see a TV in the salon, nor any power sockets in the galley? Where are they? How do you plug in a kettle, coffee machine, any other appliances?... Hhmmm... Not sure about this one... The double bed in the master cabin means someone has to climb over the other to get out? Seriously?...😆
Why would I wanna sync the engines? Wouldn’t that mean that most of the critical machinery would get wet? Totally ungood !!! The purpose of a ship’s hull is to weigh less than the water it displaces. I’m assuming the weight of the added water required to sync the engines would certainly raze the water line a bit. The wooden Finnish interior might help keep her afloat for long enough to tarp & batten the back square doors to keep the outside water out and the machinery space water in. She’s a beautiful build. Storm Warnings be damned, the New Owner is a prudent Skipper/Spie. P.S. It’s not a shower, it’s called the rain locker.
You don’t have to open every cabinet and drawer !! We can SEE them. Too slow and too much talk. And you don’t need to touch everything...very exasperating !
Reliance has now been sold! For all of our current listings, please view our website at www.calibreyachts.com
Well that didn't take long!
I was sold after the video
Maybe take the ad down?
Or simply change the title to SOLD! So we don't waste our time.

That engine room is my dream. I could take a little less boat, in exchange with such a great well thought out space.

@Clif Bradley. Bob Ross w/o LSD…
@@cber5077 Richard seems directed towards the fluff rather than tough. No way a black hulled, tire fender seaman.
I like how you cut in video of the rout into the different spaces so that we can keep a solid picture of where we are on the boat. Just great editing.
Wow! Good morning starts now! ) Let's see another gem. I love sailboats, but can't ignore these nice trawlers!
I REALLY like the layout and feel of this boat. Very nice, bright, and comfortable living spaces.

Just a note, Troon, mentioned on her transom is a Town on the estuary of the river Clyde in the West Of Scotland.

I have heard that forward scanning sonars are only useful at slow speeds. Anyone have experience with them?
It's a trawler. Does it ever do anything _except_ slow speeds?
