A few people are very upset about the “Canadian neglect” that I mentioned at the beginning of the video. Don’t take it so seriously, obviously just because it’s Canadian doesn’t mean it’s neglected. Be adults people! Thankyou
You should really lightly sand the pieces with 240 or 300 grit sand paper then spray it with your paint skuff again with 240 to 300 grit than clear coat. And finely 400 grit wet paper to smooth of the clear coat and buff and polish to a almost factory shine. I did paint and body for a living for a number of years. It's a lot of steps but it will give you your best results.
Talk about a transformation! I just bought a new vehicle and had it Ceramic coated as well. While there is no need to wax over the coating because it covers it’s properties they do recommend you use a spray on “ Ceramic booster “ like Adam’s Ceramic Boost to extend the life of the original coating.
@@6thGenFarmer I have a 2013 GMC Denali Diesel HD black, always garage stored. Paint is mint but has a few polishing swirls in it. I am going to do the same thing Levi did to your tractor and apply that the Adam’s graphene to it as well.
I believe Roar Ceramics only sells their ceramic coatings to certified installers, but the rest of everything that Levi used can be found online. I have never purchased any of it myself personally
You can lightly sand the paint with 220 if it's really rough, but 400 grit is probably better. You do NOT want it shiny when you clear coat. The clear will make the dull, sanded paint shine. Experiment on a section of plastic bucket if you want to.
It’s interesting watching crop farmers who’s tractors are treated like sports cars as opposed to cattle ranchers (like we are) that use our tractors daily in mud and manure and don’t have the extra hours in the day to spend 12 hours of each day detailing their tractors.
He did not do that as it is a brand new roof but a few people have mentioned that. When he comes back to do the rims I am going to have him do that as well.
wow… why is all of Canada getting lumped in with one place that chose not to look after their tractor paint ?? We have lots of shiny tractors up in this frozen land that you seem to think is uninhabitable … there are parts of Ontario farther south than you are
Canadian neglection 😆 Weathers much different up there bud , not all farms have machine sheds , As an American your prob just mad it didnt come with an AR -15 😆

@@6thGenFarmer Sorry Bro ! Misunderstanding is all ! When your talking bout the new JD you could say EH !! at the end of sentences that would be hilarious ! 😆

Meh. There are always a few oversensitive people who get upset over nothing. Bet that Canadian farmers have a better sense of humor than that.
As a Canadian the “Canadian Neglect” is way more common then you think out here😂
Looks awesome!
Super cool to see the transformation and the great work Levi did. Make sure to reach out to him for your polishing needs!
The polish and ceramic coating turned out amazing! Cant wait to see it once the tracks and wheels are completed.
A real stunner! What a totally epic transformation!
Looks brand new !!
Stunning how fast he got it done and looks brand new.He did a great job and can't wait to see it in action.
He does good work!
thank you
You know what you did? Now it's going to rain for the next month! Looking very good! Love the videos. Keep up the great work.
Good to see Tom. If he prevents one wire harness from being destroyed, he will have earned his keep for life.
“Tom likes to rub his hand in my face “ that was the funniest thing I’ve heard all day lol :)
Amazing what some polish and ceramic coating can do. Looks brand new!
Wow. Amazing change! Crazy we have wanted to ceramic coat a couple of ours and we farm about 10 minutes from willmar so might have to give him a call
Do it soon! College ends for him soon
Tractor is looking great
Thank you!
you have to wear sunglasses to watch the video. the tractor is so dazzling 😎✨😅
Cool. Thanks
Love the vids!

Dealers should recognize the value of doing this!
It sure has made a difference

I’m going to try the Adam’s Graphene ceramic coat on my truck. It’s not as good as the roar but thought it’s worth a try

I'm sure that wasn't cheap but like you said it'll bring up the resale value
lol Blame Canada... . The tractor is looking great. Levi did a wonderful job. Also fancy editing the video "CAM 4". Yea. Tom sighting!
Nice vid!
Do they sell a kit for everything needed?

5:25 sure shows the difference. I did like those black rims on the tractors you showed of levi's other work.
Yeah a custom manure applicator near us has black rims on all his equipment. Looks pretty good!
@@6thGenFarmer I can definitely see in that application, black rims being a good idea.
Funny enough I’m Canadian and have a faded 2 track deere from leaving it outside lol “Canadian neglect”

@6thGenFarmer thanks. Just curious, it looks like he stays within about an hour or two radius

Seen it listed for sale now.
Yup. If it sells that’s great if it doesn’t we have a super nice tractor

You could always get rid of your cattle so you have time to polish your tractors...
Yeah true I felt accomplished yesterday that I cleaned the windows in one of our chore tractors
Did he do up the roof of the cab too? look a bit dull compared to the rest of it now
He did not do that as it is a brand new roof but a few people have mentioned that. When he comes back to do the rims I am going to have him do that as well.
Carson, you want to talk about neglect, try driving around your great USA. You will see neglect that is world class!
You are correct. Everyone is taking the Canada neglect thing out of context. Lots of tractors around the U.S. that look worse
I’m not just talking about tractors!
Are you going to do a video when you change the traxs?
Of course!
How come I already seen it on marketplace for sale?
In the first video my brother stated he might try and sell it. I’d personally like to keep it as it is a unicorn but it’s not my decision
I would do a 360 or 400 grit sandpaper on those fenders then come back with a 600 grit as a final cleanup on it for the clear coat
So do 400 on the bare green paint, clean, clear coat, then do 600?
Alright. Is it a secret or how much did it cost?
It was a couple grand. Well worth it
@@6thGenFarmer So $2000
