I used to only know Ofra Haza from the version of Sisters of Mercy’s “Temple of Love” that featured her. Of course she has so much more to offer, I just didn’t know back then. (Still a recommendation if you want to listen to some eighties music in your free time ;) )

I think it is a great example of how two different voices can compliment each other in music. I just started too watch your videos and enjoy them very much.

She was quite popular in Italy - she did a cover of a Raf song called "Today I'll pray" (the original is called "Oggi un Dio non ho", from Raf). When I read her story, long ago, I felt really bad. She was just beautiful with a very powerful yet delicate tone. You know, you should react to "Hommage à Violette Nozieres" or "Il bandito del deserto" from Area (the singer was Demetrio Stratos, you should know him and if you don't, you should... trust me). I'm subscribing to your channel and I really hope you'll grasp this. Cheers from Italy!

If I recall correctly, I bought her cassette with "In My Prayer" on it in 1988 or so. Hard to believe it's been 35 years. Your commentary is excellent. I also enjoyed your reactions to Rush. Very different vocalists, but one knows music which moves you when one hears it. I'll look forward to finding anything you do of Judas Priest or Queensryche if you venture toward classic metal. Ofra Haza was so brilliant; always a pleasure.

I have quite a few of her cd's and she has helped me drift off to sleep 💤 many, many times..... very calming and beautiful tones. I wish she had not left this world so young so she could have blessed us longer, with more treasures.
Please keep up the great videos.... it's nice to hear your impressions on these wonderful vocalists.
